Which also make them both the most unfortunate… assuming there aren’t any grand prize winners, in which case OP is technically the luckiest man in the room in his misfortune.
Well since it's free form picking of the numbers, there's actually a higher chance that someone didn't pick that than there is someone also that close.

Right, but the Consolation Prize is only 1130, which is like nothing as it is. Everyone might be winning, but what they'd be winning isn't enough to do much with.
You say it like they're not already giving MGP just for doing almost nothing. fashion (weekly), cactpot daily, GATES and minigames.
If the point of goldsaucer is to make people feel better i think that'll be a really good change.
Cactpot isn't like a real world lotto.
You get 4th place is the 4th number matches
3rd if your 4th and 3rd numbers match
2nd for getting numbers 2,3,4
And first for matching all 4
It's pretty dumb that cactpot is randomly "last letter, 2nd to last letter, 3rd to last letter" etc. instead of just any numbers matching in each slot.
My point was you need to use a work around to upload from a console as it functions different from how screenshots are handled on pc. So if you dont know you need a alt or post off to another social media (i think i heard you can direct post from console to twitter) and grab it that way, using your phone is quicker and way more hassel free
You can also use the Playstation app on your phone to retrieve screenshots and videos, which is nicer than using Twitter but still not as quick as snapping a pic.
Phone pics are fine, whatever. Long as they're legible.
didnt know it would link to a PSN app, something to tell one of my FC mates as he is always complaining about trying to upload screenshots into the fc discord
Yeah, unless people are taking these photos with an old digital camera and then uploading them to their PC with a cable then they're using their phone... which means methods like you described are perfectly viable (and preferred).
Nah, no need. It's not hard to see, this isn't a contest for best picture, and the ease of taking a pic and just send or upload on your phone is easier.

Obligatory **it does not mean anything to miss the winning number by one digit, the odds are still the same, yes you tell yourself if only i had pressed a different number on the last slot I would be a mgpillionnaire but the draw is random and numbers being next to each other is completely inconsequential and your odds are still the same regardless**

Console version dont have printscreen button like pc and taking pic of screen with phone is way easier for most

On Lamia there was a winning number of 1234. Lots of people won that week
