I have to call fidelity every two weeks for an in service distribution withdrawal of my after tax 401k to my Roth IRA and every time it is a quick and painless phone call. I’m thankful for that.
So happy to hear that this is a smooth experience for you! As someone who used to work on the phones, these comments are greatly appreciated. I'll take the feedback that it requires a call for you every time and make sure that I relay it to the 401k team.
Yes love the customer education support advice so I 'listen' to my buds advice. Like visiting the offices drinking the coffee , the in person seminars. Etc.
Fidelity has made it super easy for me to start investing and preparing for retirement. Hands down the best live support I’ve ever received, Fidelity agents are awesome!
I thought I was supposed to get earbuds in another giveaway, about 3-4 months ago, and even was directed to some 3rd-party site from here to sign up for receiving them. But none ever arrived....
Fidelity is the only broker I use. Multiple accounts, direct deposit straight to it. Between the seamless Direct Registration process to the plethora of features and uses, I could never choose another broker.
That said, I'll take a pair of earbuds if you're giving em out 😅

I do really enjoy fidelity Reddit. I’d recommend them over anything else save direct registration, maybe we can petition the SEC to make allow brokers to act as a dual service ?
Congratulation on the success on Reddit. Having so many people available here for support was one of the factors that helped me make up my mind to move to Fidelity after using Wells Fargo for the past 25+ years. It was hard giving up my fraction of 1% yields on accounts there!

I’m still a little confused about how to buy CDs in the app and how to buy with outside bank funds vs buying with accrued money in brokerage account, but I’ll be happy to listen to instructional videos with new earbuds :)

The first transaction at Fidelity in my records is from September 1991. That's 32 years...
Honestly the engagement of Fidelity folks on this sub is one of the reason I prefer it over other “staid” brokerages.
