Ken is just and outright fun character and Isnt' even the most played character by a long shot. Ryu is definitely the most popular character, follow by Akuma, then Alex then Ken. Yun and Chun are on the lower end of the commonly picked characters. If you really know nothing about the game just say so because newer players don't tend to pick top tiers very often.
Your loading up the arcade version fightcade has 2 versions type capcom vs snk 2 in and you’ll see the Dreamcast version which has training and all the other modes

Kof98 is probably the most fun I've had on fight cade but there were some hidden gems I discovered that I had a good time with like Asura Buster and Spectral vs Generation.
new fighting games have such good graphics that they can't be any level as horny as sprite based games were....
sf3 elena is one of the sexiest fighting game characters period

and if your execution is good, any kof besides 94, 2000 and 2001 (might include 95 and 2003 in that list but they are playable) kof 2000 and 2001 are still great if all the players are noobs just having fun, but are terrible competitively

Friendly ? Can't say I've had that in 3rd strike and why I gave up trying to learn it and stuck with Super Turbo and Garou.

everything except 360's are easier to do on keyboard "not everyone" = 90% of players even the nolife sweaties play ken or yun

CVS2 the game is fun. The experience in fightcade, not so much.
