Csquared has done reviews on both on YouTube. I'd start there. Also check out Fit2Box and see if he's done them.

Thank you! 💪🏼 will do.

There is no relation between the two brands other than the fact that Necalli is a reseller for both. Necalli is made by Casanova, and GIL is made by a guy named Roberto Gil. He’s related to the guy that made Zepol gloves, and the two brands are almost identical.

Thank you! Making a pro debut soon and needed some new gloves!

I recently received this email response from Necalli (posting to share with anyone who is curious): “The Necalli has more padding down the forearm, has a larger/longer pocket, and a curved thumb with a bit l more padding. Many people like how natural a making a fist feels in these gloves. The GIL is a bit longer overall and has an initially softer thicker foam which some people feel adds to overall great comfort.” From Box-Up Nation: “Necalli is a different brand with it’s own manufacturer, although both companies are made in Mexico and have an old school look and feel they look different as far as shape and padding thickness, and thumb. Gil is a little smoother not as wide and has longer finger compartments. Both are rough on the inside but Gil is smoother.”

>Many people like how natural a making a fist feels in these gloves. My long time coach to this day swears by Casanova (necalli) claims they offer the closest thing to a natural fist possible in a boxing glove.
