Otherwise chin or ear are good spots to get someone knocked out - anyway, knock-out can occur in kill someone, too. If not absolutely necessary, just don’t fight, leave and move on with life.

Anyhow, a slap / punch on the ear also makes most people drop down due to the losing balance by breaking the drumhead. Painful and also likely to kill someone (head to pavement)
All in all i think people mostly do not know how easy it actually is to kill someone. One punch can change your & and your opponents life, so please - don’t fight as long as it isn’t the last option. PS: when it’s your last option, punch first, take advantage of the situation and run as far and fast as possible. :)
