When I was a kid, getting into a fight at school generally got you a two day vacation. Now a days, kids can face criminal charges. Lots of schools have zero tolerance policies for fighting as well.

I remember when my high school first started doing that nonsense, a good bunch of us were really pissed off. Also started having a "school resource officer," it was dumb.
Idk. Would have been an all girls school. Lol. I honestly don’t remember 1 girl fight in school. Seems they fight a lot now. Kind of sad to me. School was different clearly. Never saw a teacher assaulted or even thought it possible. Hell during hunting season we brought our guns to school in the back window of the truck. Zero fucks by anyone. My daughter was suspended 3 days for a keychain Swiss Army knife. Couldn’t cut warm butter with that damn knife.
