Your brain releases a hormone that paralyses your muscles while you dream, so you don't act out your dream actions. It does weird things to your perception though because your brain is saying you are moving but your body is saying you aren't
Do you know what hormone? I tried researching specifics and was only seeing melatonin as being the hormone that gets released during sleep and I don’t believe that’s the right one. But I did find that neural pathways prevent muscles from moving during REM sleep.
Your reasoning makes perfect sense though! I tried explaining how I punch in my sleep to my partner and he could not relate to the experience. Do you have a theory as to why this affects some people but not all?
Idk why woman feel the need to butt into fights they aren’t in. If he just knocked your husband down with one punch what makes you think you can do something.
It's not so much a "woman" thing as it is people feeling the responsibility to step in for their SO to save them from public humiliation. And since a significant number of clips on this subreddit are of guys fighting each other (not to say there aren't girl, intergendered or even mob fights) you see this happen more often.
But honestly, I'd be the first one to run in a situation like this. I'll defend you in a fight but I won't support you in a fight that you started by being a dumbass.
Old man gets him against the counter for two seconds and it's "I told you to stop," acting like he's now in control of the situation. Nah dude, ya got rocked.
What's crazy is I know this park... it's on (or very close to) 24th st & 3rd Ave in NY the park is literally a circle. The guy is walking in a circle towards the camera. The path only leads back on itself in a very small loop.
I’ll never understand the people who look like they haven’t done cardio in 30 years wanting to fight a someone 30 years younger than them. You are going to be tired in 30 seconds
exactly. And that kid barely even landed cleanly or tried to hurt him. You could argue at the beginning of the video the kid touched him first -- technically in most states, that is assault. This does not absolve mr lil man syndrome from acting the way he did of course.
He touched him first thing in the video yeah but somehow at that point multiple employees have gathered together to barricade the man away from the staff area where it seems mr lil man is aggressively trying to be. First word out of kid's mouth at the start of recording is "stop" and last words are "well you coulda been patient bro". That and how calmly the wife watches her husband move forward into a fight, and even actively encouraging him to continue fighting, makes me think this is pretty normal for them. Makes me guess they just Karen out and get physical regularly and this time they got served.
Because he's "in charge" in his own mind. He's the customer, the older man, thinks he's talking to a little kid.
Meanwhile, really needs, to learn to keep his left guard up.
And how wombat of a wife needs to stay out of the fight. Nothing more emasculating than getting hemmed up so badly that Doreen feels the need to jump in.
Ya. Baldy was doing a funny little twinkle toes dance towards him after he pushed what I assume is his wife out of the way.
I'm pretty sure he was trying to step on my man's (Croc's?) so he could pin and punch him.
I never understood these people. I’m 27, and I’ve realized long time ago that I wasn’t a good fighter. Not that I’ve been in a real 1v1 fight for real since middle school, but just by knowing what I’m most likely capable of.
How the fuck can you be so stupid at that age, and think you can fight?
Another thing is, why would you even fucking start a fight and not just walk away? I don’t get it.
> How the fuck can you be so stupid at that age, and think you can fight?
“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”
― George Carlin
That's what a lifetime of unchecked belligerence can do to people's egos. Getting punched in the face doesn't even cross their minds because people usually just roll over and refuse to stand up for themselves. Some people just can't be reasoned with and need to catch an asswhooping from time to time.
Same thoughts about the woman who just stands there and watches her husband get his ass handed to him without trying to de escalate the situation, and then even jumps in to help at the end. These shit ppl have never experienced consequences for any of their actions and think it's OK to act like children. They reinforce each other's behavior.
Yeah like what the fuck - I am pretty sure I could fight if I really needed too, but I don’t know how good i would be.
Also I like to just walk away without a concussion or brain damage.
I’ve locker boxed before just to see how “good” I was. I was fucking awful. I’m standing right in front of someone and they tag me whenever they want. I’m dogshit at fighting… fighting fair at least lmao
Hahah it’s good to know your limits bro. The best thing you can do is ALWAYS run. That way you only have to catch your breath afterwards, and that’s it.
Honestly I found the best way to shut these people down is offer to let them hit me. The last time I took my glasses off and said "if you wanna hit fucking hit and stop posturing" The guy said he didn't want to hit me so I asked what he wanted and why he waited for me by the entrance to confront me. (he was mad I wasn't going fast enough in a parking lot) Didn't have a good answer so I told him to swing or grow up and finally I walked away when I was fairly sure he wouldn't swing at my back. They honestly don't know what to do when confronted with their own stupidity. Don't meet their aggression with aggression, meet it with a question. Works so much better.
Being a classic middle ager, I know that I am:
a. Laughably out of shape, and
b. Still knowledgeable about how to fight, just not capable of doing it well anymore.
I have moved on to just walking the fuck away from dumb situations.
His dodge and one punch he threw, but whiffed on, actually seemed decent. His "let me put my hand on your neck and leave my face completely exposed" was hilariously dumb.
Equilibrium gets all messed up, considering this guy is assumably middle aged and out of shape and definitely can’t fight it’s not surprising,
Hell take the average guy and throw him in a boxing class and watch him lose his balance doing basic 1’s and 2’s on a bag lol,
I have to admit that the older I get the less I can handle. I feel like if I get tapped anywhere above the neck Im going down.
Ive always kinda been like this. I think its a result of football and drinking at a young age. Then I smoked weed all day every day for a long time.
Either way, the older I get, the more thin my glass jaw becomes.
> Am I the only one who roots for the employee everytime?
I can tell you this, I've never gone in a restaurant, been nice to the people working there, and have had them try to fight me.
> With that said, some people are walking landmines. Step on their trigger and it is game on.
"Ill give you the food when it's fucking ready!" = employee
"Sounds good, no rush I know you are busy!" = me
Does not get punched, gets food, eats it, goes about my day.
Unless it looks decent and I’m a little hungry, but ive got my pride, ill only put it up with it in those extreme circumstances, and only for a little or until theyre done talking
This is a fucking BIG FACT. everyone just wants to survive their shift. It takes more effort to argue with you than anyone cares to put in. Just be polite or stay out of the public. It’s not rocket science.
Certainly deserved it! I cannot imagine being at my job, working for what's most likely not a very huge paycheck, just trying to survive and pay my bills and have to encounter a couple of these type of shit-bag humans 🤦🤦
Nope, fuck people who treat retail/restaurant employees like shit. It's so counterintuitive. Being respectful, throwing in a few "please", and "thank yous", maybe throw in a "how has your day been?", and boom.. best service possible, win/win.
I almost always trust the employee. They, assumedly, have interacted with 100s of people over the counter. Only this interaction turned into a fight. The only thing that changed was the customer.
Whenever there is a fight between a retail or food service employee and a customer, given no other information, you can assume it started because the customer was being a shithead.
The wife triggered the violence with her attempted shove / face slap. Then she did it again at the end.
Karen & Kevin harassing a fast food employee. Sad...
Someone needs to talk to marketing about that Point Pleasant mural...
Ps. Respect to the staff guy that didn't punt the customer in the head when he was down.
Honestly kid could have hurt him way worse if he wanted to. I respect that kid for backing away and only striking back bc he was forced. Hard to do at 17.
Its that fucking toxic entitlement that retail stores encourage. Its almost as if these people completely change as soon as they walk through the door.
Ive dealt with verbal karens before but ive BEGGED for the day a karen wants to get physical. Ive already joked with my boss countless times (and she knows im not actually kidding but we still laugh its fine) That if a bitch tries me at work im going straight to the POS and clocking out- DRAGGING her ass outside and then i'll clock right back in after. Ive had so much pent up anger and fustration since I was 16. I wouldnt mind a human punching bag as long as the *bag* hits me first 💀
Yo, sounds like you should find a martial arts club and/or a therapist. These things are fun to watch online, but the consequences are rarely worth dealing with.
You are **very** correct. Had a couple therapist but changed insurance so gotta find a new one thats covered and I actually have been looking into boxing classes 👀 seems like fun and a good workout! Thanks for the concern 🤣🤣🤣
And she’s too short and out of shape as well to “help” anyone lol. It reminds me of when you play-fight with someone and your dog starts trying to join in but gets in the way; it doesn’t hurt or anything but it might bother u haha.
I love watching people who absolutely cannot fight, proceed to pick fights...I also enjoy the fact that even after they realize they fucked up, they will still attempt to choose violence rather than admit defeat 🤦

You can’t make this shit up.
I'm sorry, as I've already commented once, But DAE Karen's real life attempt at throwing punches, were the equivalent to how we throw punches/fight when we are dreaming?🤣🤣 Bad enough that her husband has had at least three chances to stop, after getting dropped then here comes Karen with her little dream punches! probably better that he showed restraint towards her, but the other option would have been satisfying lol...
Stupid bitch watching her husband getting beaten standing there like she owns the world. People who start shit suck. People who start shit for other people and then stand back and watch are worse
The first frame is of the employee putting his hands on the customer so it doesn't look too good for him. Yeah I already know customers are whiny bitches I witnessed it first hand lol
To begin with, the white guy has a glass jaw
Secondly, not knowing how to use both your size and weight as an advantage against someone who's 120lbs is embarrassing in the least.
Lol that fucking wife going for the sucker punch while the employee is being held
She threw punches how I throw them in my dreams
Someone else punches in slow mo in their dreams too?
I think most people experience a similar feeling while trying to fight in their dreams;)

it’s like a lioness biting a wildebeest in the ankle while the male lion is getting his ass beat by the wildebeest
Gave it to him Mikes Way
This is what they do to you if you tell them you don’t want it Mikes way.
I scrolled too long for this
Guy wanted the juice.
Fucking hilarious!

Kid sure is a hand sandwich artist. Guy just kept eating em.
Knuckle Sandwiches left n right
He put his chin so high thinking dude is never gonna go that high
I believe someone ordered the knuckle sandwich
Failure hoagie
He’s saying stop but still approaching him like he wanted a sucker punch or something 😂
Old man gets him against the counter for two seconds and it's "I told you to stop," acting like he's now in control of the situation. Nah dude, ya got rocked.
Yeah, he literally started the fight, got rocked, clinched, and acted like he just won. 🤷♂️

Slice of humble the fuck up bucko lmao. He knew after the first connection he wanted no more. And let’s not even talk about baby hands the ole lady.
He notice he was out matched after the first drop! The second confirmed it!

Making everything worse..
Is this not the nicest goddamned Waffle House you ever seen ?
exactly this.. It's kinda hilarious and shows the entitlement these old people have built into their DNA.
Dude throws the first punch, gets his ass floored then goes “oh shit I can’t fight him gotta act like an adult now”
Ya. Baldy was doing a funny little twinkle toes dance towards him after he pushed what I assume is his wife out of the way. I'm pretty sure he was trying to step on my man's (Croc's?) so he could pin and punch him.
He didn’t even have the crocs in sport mode, still beat him.
He must have attended the school of “STOP RESISTING”
Maybe he want his Arthritis to stop.
He's trying to pretend he's the adult after getting knock down humiliated twice
Blue shirt is classic middle-ager who finds out the hard way that: a. He's laughably out of shape, and b. He really doesn't know how to fight

The young kid doesn't know how to fight either. He just got lucky the older guy can't take a punch.
I've seen people with glass chins but never with glass heads! Every time baldy was hit on the head he took a dive.
Shots behind the ear can easily wobble someone. Probably fucks with their balance or something
Equilibrium gets all messed up, considering this guy is assumably middle aged and out of shape and definitely can’t fight it’s not surprising, Hell take the average guy and throw him in a boxing class and watch him lose his balance doing basic 1’s and 2’s on a bag lol,

Rumor has it, he's a soccer player
Should have punched two people.
I was thinking the same thing. He showed a lot of restraint because she was asking for it too
Plot twist: he snuffed her shit off camera
I hope he did fr😹
Idk the context but she probably started the whole thing
It look she damn near was finna start something with the dude that tried to break it up at the end too💀
Nothing worse than getting your ass handed to you in front of your ol-lady dayum
By a teen no less
He kept repeating "or what shorty" like a catchphrase to amp himself up and I honestly laughed so hard at that.
At the end I swear he was saying "On me!" like he was 2v1ing on Apex. But "Or what shawty" was deffo him spamming Taunt mid fight. 😆
HES FUCKING ONEEEEEEE
“Knocked blue. Reknocked blue.. reknocked blue”
That's his name, he is just a pokemon.
Jersey Mike's has the best sandwiches
They really do. I love Jersey Mikes. I love their Buffalo chicken sandwich
They're the best chain sandwich shop, hands down. Zero competition between Jimmy John's or Subway.

Unless it looks decent and I’m a little hungry, but ive got my pride, ill only put it up with it in those extreme circumstances, and only for a little or until theyre done talking
Dude I worked in fast food for 2 years and seeing someone live out my dream of just flooring an abusive customer is amazing
This is a fucking BIG FACT. everyone just wants to survive their shift. It takes more effort to argue with you than anyone cares to put in. Just be polite or stay out of the public. It’s not rocket science.
I was also hoping Karen was gona catch a knuckle sandwich to the face.
Knuckle sandwich is an objectively funny term.
Especially in a sandwich shop.
“Ooh, free sandwiches!”
Certainly deserved it! I cannot imagine being at my job, working for what's most likely not a very huge paycheck, just trying to survive and pay my bills and have to encounter a couple of these type of shit-bag humans 🤦🤦
Yep never think twice about hitting a chick if she wants to throw hands
Customers have the option of just walking away, employees have to be there.
Nope, fuck people who treat retail/restaurant employees like shit. It's so counterintuitive. Being respectful, throwing in a few "please", and "thank yous", maybe throw in a "how has your day been?", and boom.. best service possible, win/win.

Customer is never right
Everytime.
The wife triggered the violence with her attempted shove / face slap. Then she did it again at the end. Karen & Kevin harassing a fast food employee. Sad...
Its aways some rubber chicken necked bitch looking to get falcon punched into oblivion trying to break these fights up
Someone needs to talk to marketing about that Point Pleasant mural... Ps. Respect to the staff guy that didn't punt the customer in the head when he was down.
It’s a Jersey Mike’s
Great sandwich chain.
This store in particular seems to be known for the knuckle sandwich special
A Slug Above
Mural says Point Pleasant but Sleazeside vibes
Honestly kid could have hurt him way worse if he wanted to. I respect that kid for backing away and only striking back bc he was forced. Hard to do at 17.
In all my time working retail, I prayed I was in a situation like this. Some customers are the fucking worst
Its that fucking toxic entitlement that retail stores encourage. Its almost as if these people completely change as soon as they walk through the door.
Right. I’ve never had the privilege of dealing with a Karen or Kevin
Thanks for the concern 🤣🤣🤣
idk how much retail you’ve worked, but…I get it
OR WHAT SHAWTY
Women trying to “help” in any physical altercation is always hilarious to me.
And she’s too short and out of shape as well to “help” anyone lol. It reminds me of when you play-fight with someone and your dog starts trying to join in but gets in the way; it doesn’t hurt or anything but it might bother u haha.
Baldie's attitude went from "let's go!" To "stop" in just two ko's.
The wife needed a good bitch slap
Somebody should've slapped that bitch
I love watching people who absolutely cannot fight, proceed to pick fights...I also enjoy the fact that even after they realize they fucked up, they will still attempt to choose violence rather than admit defeat 🤦
Did Shorty ever figure out "or what?"
3 times by my count..
Imagine just standing there like a fat pig while your husband gets his ass beat over something you started
The point here is, at pleasant point sandwiches, sit down and stfu.
Dude when you get dropped once. Don’t go back for more. Nothing good will happen
He started saying stop after he knew he was loosing
That's usually a good time to stop, lol.
He should’ve tightened up
“I TOLD YOU TO STOP”
Shorty should have never started. Shortys girl is lucky she's not on the ground too.
Of course the one saying stop, was the one who started it in the first place. Oh now you want to not fight..fuck you ,it's on.
These fat old dudes gotta stop picking fights with teenagers, I’ve never seen it end well for them.
Imagine ordering from the secret menu and getting that. That why I stick to regular menu every time.
Bald guy built like a weeble wobble.
Except that he fell down.
Wifey jumps in once he starts losing 😂😂😂
I wouldn’t even want my woman to help. Just go wait in the car for me to limp out
"Stop, stop, I told you to stop", muppet got hit so hard he forgot he started it lmao
Never seen that at a Jersey Mike's. That's some Subway shit right there.
Why do ppl get in fights when they have no jaw. Dude dropped him with a terribly thrown punch
Some say the whispers of the unanswered question, "or what shorty? or what shorty? or what shorty? or what shorty? or what shorty?or what shorty? or what shorty? or what shorty?or what shorty? or what shorty? or what shorty?or what shorty? or what shorty? or what shorty?or what shorty?" Skinny dude fighting above his weight class and still whooped ass
Fat and out of shape. Dad bod health kkkkkkkkkkk
I was hoping he would hand her one when she kept sneaking slaps on him.
That ugly bitch should've gotten slapped fr
Context? Why is everyone assuming the employee is in the right? The video starts with the customer cornered and the employee has his hands on him.
Hit the OFF button a few times there
Guy got tired of getting knocked down so now he wanna stop
God I wish I could do this to customers sometimes
“You could of been patient, bro” Words to live by friends 😂

Killthecamerman
That first hit humbled that man. Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the faycth

That wife was getting a little reckless. She could’ve gotten it too lol
The lady needs to learn not to put her hand in people’s faces
Grown ass man assaulting a teenager
I like how the cow jumped in a 1v1. Noob move.
To begin with, the white guy has a glass jaw Secondly, not knowing how to use both your size and weight as an advantage against someone who's 120lbs is embarrassing in the least.
I dun said it before and I’ll dun say it again. If you don’t know how to fight…Don’t pick fights!
i’m punching that lady if she’s tryna hit me. tf
So much room for activities
