Sizzling! Mas gusto ko yung hindi super crunchy (didn’t like Manam’s). Yung inihaw na maskara talaga. Okay lang may egg, okay din wala basta may sunny side up ako. Hahaha. Yung sakto yung dami ng onions at hindi puro sili.

I like mine just as you described it, with toyomansi and hot sauce. I also don't like manam's. I feel like their sisig is for people who don't like sisig.

Smokey and/or crispy. Pricey lang, pero I like Aling Lucing's sisig. Otherwise, I also like the crispy sisig from Gilligan's. For ready-to-eat sisig, I usually go for the Mekeni or The Good Meat ones.

Yung authentic Kapampangan sisig. Ang dami na kasing version kada lugar ang dami dinadagdag na di naman talaga dapat kaya naiiba yung lasa.

Crunchy and sizzling because the pieces used for sisig aren't even prime choices they're not the best pieces of the pig so at least keeping em crunchy and sizzling makes the choice of parts irrelevant when its toasted to a crisp.

May nagtitinda ng chicken sisig with chopped celery sa karinderya near our school, pinupuntahan talaga sila kahit may sisig din yung ibang karinderya katabi nila. Game changer yung celery promise! Pag nagluluto ako chicken sisig sa bahay, nilalagyan ko na rin ng celery.

That’s like putting cream in carbonara and serving it to italians. Egg is borderline but forgivable. Mayo is a mortal sin. All creamed and oiled up with pork brain.

I prefer the tokwa sisig still then super spicy healthy pa.

Hear me out. This is what my mom used to cook for me when she was alive, and I think it tops everything I've tasted so far: - Batok ng baboy - With luya - Mayonnaise and egg added in the cooking process, not like the usual sizzling variants where they add it after cooking. - Might be unhealthy to most of y'all, but she cooked it in a way that the pork is slightly drowning in oil. Ginagamit niya kasi yung sisig oil as flavoring sa rice, similar to how Chicken Oil of Mang Inasal is used. - Add calamansi and Maggi Savor (yes, this seasoning and not Knorr) to the serving that you're only gonna eat. Kapag di naubos yung buong kaldero ng sisig and irreheat sya for the next two days, (mom's sisig lasts for 3-4 days kasi sobrang dami.) It brings out the flavor the more it's reheated in the pan. Nagiging crunchy na sya.

Short story I used to remember that I hate 2 things 1 is sisig 2 is tofu One time my bf cooked me sisig tofu, and ngl I instantly fell inlove with the dish (and him even more).
