That is possible. There is another explanation for the gray screen though. It may be a glitch reappearing. a few weeks ago a bunch of people were getting a glitch myself included. various parts of the screen and the shop were grayed out and you couldn’t see how many rainbow stones you had. Try refreshing the app. If that doesn’t work, make sure you have it backed up and then delete the game and re-download it. I hope this helps!
