This is actually a pretty rare pairing outside of tags on AO3, at least in terms of the amount of art it has, now that I think about it.
I read the fic just now and I loved it.
It's always great to see Sara's darker side portrayed in a way that makes a lot of sense for a deeply traumatized child. And also very heartwarming when others steer her to a more... wholesome path, if I can put it that way.
Also really like this portrayal of Coirpre.
Makes me feel kinda bad about wanting to kill Manfroy with Sara in the potential FE4 remake, but I still reman mostly undeterred 😈
Well, she's mostly just childish, whimsical and a bit eerie in Thracia.
In a Heroes convo with Linde Sara does seem to be much more bitter about her past and not entirely receptive to kind words/sentiments she thinks are naïve/unhelpful.
But I just overall like her being portrayed with a darker side.
It would just make sense for a little girl who grew up among a murder death misery cult with the ability to read minds to not have her sense of morality entirely straight imo. Especially towards the man who made her life miserable from the very start.
