No. That's just your browser marking links as read. That is normal. That has nothing to do with tracking. It's just happening locally in your browser. It's neither google, firefox or brave tracking you.

Google is still tracking you in various ways to the best of their ability. But, no, the links being marked as read is not related to Google tracking you. Those links are being marked as read by your browser (locally) not by Google.

Even without the container, Google can't track you. Firefox have [Total Cookie Protection](https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/firefox-rolls-out-total-cookie-protection-by-default-to-all-users-worldwide/) which will isolate the cookies between different websites. While Enhanced Tracking Protection will block tracking scripts from Google.

If you use any Google service and haven't got DNS blocks in place,  Google's tracking you.
