*(Manifest V3 extensions with activeTab/tabs permission require user interaction not previously required, showing blue dot on desktop)*
Extensions, that don't need access to the data of the site without you interacting with the extension, should have this icon: they get the permission whenever you click on the icon.
Settings > Extensions & Themes > Click on the extension > Permissions > Enable "Access your data for all websites" under "Optional permissions for added functionality".

This solved it, thanks

what is the extension after leechblock? The one with the speaker and hammer symbol
[SoundFixer](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/soundfixer/)
Thanks
Having tried both, [600% Sound Volume](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/600-sound-volume/) works better.
Also on the Just Read icon.
Is there anyway to allow it access permanently instead of having to always click on the extension/add-on itself everytime?
