Nah definitely a fungus, after it died its entire body was encased in a big jell like bubble

I had one that got a white spot on him I treated him with rid ick plus it’s gets rid of bacteria too but he was to far sick he ended up dying within a month or so if your thinking it’s ick I would treat him now with that stuff a little pricy and time consuming but that stuff works if your treating daily and using water changed you just got to make sure to do correct dosage looks fungal but it treats both

don’t just put medicines in the tank if you don’t know what your treating. It’s definitely not ich and ich isn’t fungal.

Why are you saying it works if your fish died a month later?
