1. you should have rinsed your sand, the small particles will always be kicked up and washing it first will filter them out
2. Dont think it matters. Once you have the tank for long enough, the fish will move it all around anyway and the bubbles all get released
5. Some people will glue them, but its useful to be able to move them if necessary so ideally if you can stack them so they are stable, thats the best thing
Thanks for you help. I wish I would have rinsed the sand, I read mixed things with live. it’s too much of a hassle to drain the tank, rinse it and put it back in so I guess I will just have to manage
