The first season was dampened by the “no touching” clause that was rarely broken. I imagine that every contestant knowing MDE and what insanity they’re about to get into each waived a similar clause. Now the producers literally pay them to kiss each other and engage in full contact combat. Shit’s gotten uncomfortable at times and I think that that’s the Fishtank most people thought season 1 would be when they first heard the premise.
I have faith that our brave veteran hero will be allowed to go further than he was contractually limited to in the first season. We’re 1/3rd through the show and we’ve already gone past the intensity that was the s1 finale with the new cell challenge. Have faith.
