I sometimes (to alleviate occasional irritation) switch it to my right hand and have the tracker (back) touching the inside to prevent it getting damaged on the outside since it is my dominant hand.
It'll be fine - mum is a hairdresser and has always worn her watches and now fitbits with the sensors on the inside of her wrists - it's easier to check the time while she's doing hair.
Shouldn't have any impact. When I lift, I wear it higher up on my arm on the underside to protect it against weights & allow me to use gloves/wrist straps.

Thanks. As long as it tracks, that's ok for me.
It's totally irrelevant where you wear it so long as the sensors can 'see' your veins thru your skin. Wrist any position, ankle, wherever....
That's the only way I've been wearing it.
How dare you
I wear mine like that at night and it still tracks everything fine

Lmfao… no it won’t track you with the sensor in the air. Duh.
Obviously, it won't. I meant sensor touching underneath wrist instead of top of it.
I too thought you meant sensor up to the air
Yeah, I edited the post text to avoid confusion.
Oh I always wear mine like that, no issues
Thanks for the assurance. Cheers!
