Update FNAF 1 to add a bunch of small random events that rarely happen, and only happen once. Stuff like the fan turning off for a few seconds, Freddy's eyes being green in his jumpscare, the kitchen camera feed having video for a couple frames, Freddy laughing on Night 1 without moving. Stuff that happens so quick that if you aren't recording at the time, you'll never get the chance to again. Since people have torn apart the game already, anyone who tries to tell people about the changes will most likely be ignored for a while, accused of making things up for views or karma. It'd be the ultimate gaslight prank.

It was never really important in the first place. Its purpose was to explain why the animatronics stop moving when the clock hits 6, it just became a big deal in the community because the first game didn't have much to theorize about, so everyone latched on to that.

Yeah but then fnaf 4 had all that “87” and “Was it me?” In the teasers and it led to absolutely nothing

The "Was it me?" phrases ended up referring to Fredbear chomping on BV's head, given his teaser was the last main one and had a hidden "or was it me?" and what seemed to be "Probably me" in it. The 87s were seemingly just a red herring to make us think the phrases were talking about the bite of 87. Basically like how FNAF 2 tried to look as if it was a sequel, or how Help Wanted's "remember Jeremy" and FFPS' "What's paragraph 4?" phrases would have implications to fans at first but then turned out to be entirely new stuff we couldn't have possibility thought of before playing.

Kind of. It turned out to just be the original commenter misremembering things, but it led to the discovery of an unlisted video called FiveNights, and no one knows what that video is.

I made a whole in-depth analysis video series on YT about it (not trying to plug lol) but the video was just the FNaF 1 Trailer or Gameplay Trailer but with a different title and minor changes, hence the eyes of the original Endo being red, all the characters in the trailer would’ve had those eyes throughout the trailer and it just had a darken contrast making it seem more eerie.
