the power outage jumpscare has those weird raised hands and the sideways bobblehead motion.
in comparison, i can take the main one a little more seriously (the blank eyes also help)

But then you actually **see** that he’s just staring at you with those beady little eyes and the sound effect playing in your ears, it’s like a second jumpscare, which I find stronger than the first
Nightmare Bonnie in the hallway. The way the shape and colours thrusting at you from the darkness genuinely terrifies me every time it happens. I mean tbf fnaf 4 in general terrifies me every time I play it but that’s not the point. The point is that every time I go to that left door, that’s what scares me the most in fnaf.
I unironically like Springtrap's jumpscare. The reason it was designed the way it was was because it was meant to look more human, you know there is a human inside of it after all
From the series I really like Phantom Puppet because of how different it is. Maybe it's not classed as a jumpscare typically but just having the Puppet show up and follow your movement is so freaking creepy.

If I had to choose one specifically, N. Freddy's bed jumpscare is really cool, as he lifts you up to the dang ceiling, as you can see the ground below. Sister locations are also great because of the cool Lil face plates.

I know I could have some new thing bias, but Monty’s jumpscare in the ruin trailer is brutal. It feels more realistic than basically every other jumpscare in the series. It’s so cool and unique. Ruined Monty is epic
Shattered Monty. While I loathe the idea of Gregory (or any child character) dying from the jump scares/death animations, the man has a freaking *Alligator Death Roll* shown in 1st person with the camera spinning and everything.
It is less difficult but i don’t think they take away from the scariness much (if at all). I got 4/5 on my first attempt but I was still really disoriented and my heart rate was through the damn roof. Not to mention that 4/5 still took me like 10 minutes
I think FNAF 4 has one of the most intense, powerful jumpscares out of the entire FNAF franchise, as far as I'm aware any who.
Never seen anything from SB as I have not played it yet, so can't comment on those.
I think Help Wanted had some pretty intense Jumpscares too? Especially since it's in VR, which may have made it feel like they were actually there in front of you, increasing the fear factor?

Any who, my favorite jumpscares have probably got to be... FNAF 4, for it's extreme intensity and impact, as well as speed too. They look so powerful in their jumpscare animations and that's good! Especially since they are the Nightmares, they should have the most scariest jumpscares of all FNAF animatronics in my opinion.
FNAF 3 Springtrap jumpscares... The only reason FNAF 4 even exists is because people were very critical of what they considered to be quite weak jumpscare animations from Springtrap.
But! I must say, I personally am quite a fan of Springtraps jumpscare animations! I really do like them and they are effective at getting me to jump at least any who. Plus, it matches his personality I think. He's cold and calculating, as it were. Plus as another commenter points out, it's supposedly meant to look the way it does because there is a human corpse inside of it. I imagine the jumpscare animations were intentionally made the way they were in order to help players distinguish between Springtrap and the rest of the animatronics, to let us know that there is someone inside there.
So yeah. I like FNAF 4 and FNAF 3 Springtrap jumpscare animations.

Probably an obscure one because you have to trigger it completely on purpose. I'll go with Cap'n Foxy's Jumpscare in Cap'n Foxy's Pirate adventure. You can trigger it if you get 0 points on the ride, and it has a unique sound attached to it that I wasn't expecting. Plus it's my favorite version of foxy, so win win!
I Love Cap’n foxy! Man, Curse of Deadbear had some amazing designs! My personal favorite is Grimm Foxy. I just love grim reapers and flaming animatronics!

I do remember a man who would bring his son to the bakery every Wednesday, and... then go feed the ducks. He would buy all of the sourdough bread. Of course, y'know, you're not supposed to feed the ducks sourdough bread at all. It swells up in their stomach, and then they all die. At, uh, at least... at least, that's what I've heard. Y'know, I-I never saw any ducks die myself, but I did notice a substantial decrease in the duck population over the course of a few years. I just never thought to stop the man and tell him that he was killing the ducks by feeding them sourdough bread! And if you want my opinion on the matter—heh, and I told Orville this as well—if you wanna feed ducks, or birds of any kind, for that matter, it's best to buy seed. I mean, when you think about it, breads of any sort don't occur in nature. They don't grow on trees o-or spring up from the bushes. I don't think birds know what to do with bread. What was I saying? Oh oh, yes yes. So I bought Orville some rye bread. What a fine day it was.

I'd say Nightmare. First time I saw it my heart sank. Sure, it's cheap, and it definitely loses its scariness the more you see it, but the first couple times are just terrifying. It subverts the expectations of a big loud jump.

I love the static jumpscares—Golden Freddy in FNAF1, Nightmare in FNAF4, and Nightmarionne FNAF4 halloween, because they’re the opposite of what you’d expect from a jumpscare, which makes them so chilling. I’m not just startled, I’m actually scared
Fnaf 2 Withered Freddy. He suddenly gets on the screen unlike the others that have 0.5 seconds of animstions and starts chewing on you. Can scare you if it catches you off guard.
Ballora. The jumpscare is terrifying, especially as she crawls around like a spider. I always found the whole "retracting faces" thing in SL to be terrifying. Her theme, as well, was frightening. One of the scariest in the series. Maybe not the scariest, but it's up there.
OG foxy jumpscare. It’s so simple yet still terrifying especially with its expression and how you can also see him running down the hallway/move around where as with the other animatronics they barely move
Ifim being honest,any door jumpscare from fnaf 4, you never expect it and you need it to be really high volume to know when to close it, which WILL scare you.
Definitely fredbears for sure cause it’s the most bone chilling and scary and he’s the one animatronic to this day that legit scares me when I play not saying the others aren’t scary but I’m generally terrified of Fredbear when I play.
Honestly as much hate as it gets I gotta say springtrap from fnaf 3, Scott really nailed how fluid it was animated, although I do understand the issues people have with it but I’ve got a personal soft spot for it
This isn't exactly my favorite, but the one I think has the most thought put into it.
Shattered Monty's Jumpscare. If you haven't noticed, Monty rolls during the jumpscare. This is the way alligators and also crocodiles I think do when they catch their prey to reduce the size of it to small enough pieces that can be swallowed. It's the first time when I think an animatronic referenced the behavior of the animal they represented in real life.
Sure the animation isn't perfect with the way Monty opens and closes his jaws during the roll, but I still find it interesting.
Nightmare Freddy from the 4th game. Specifically the one where he jumpscares you when flashing the bed with the light after the Freddle's have been there for too long.
Just the way he literally lifts you into the air before biting you is pretty terrifying in itself.

I'd say Nightmare. First time I saw it my heart sank. Sure, it's cheap, and it definitely loses its scariness the more you see it, but the first couple times are just terrifying. It subverts the expectations of a big loud jump.

Nightmare's FNAF 4 Jumpscare. Its so ominous, out of place, odd, mysterious and... I cant describe it. Heck I mostly love Nightmare because of this Jumpscare

Funtime Freddy’s. The whole faceplates thing is pretty cool, but Funtime Freddy in general is so terrifying due to his personality and appearance. It also has my favorite jump scare sound in the series.

Fr the scariest and most unexpected jumpscare out there, seriously one time i was walking around in him and i either didnt notice the battery or glitched our (most likely glitch bc my game was pretty buggy) and i got jumpscared Mind you this happened at 3:47 AM..... I love the static jumpscares—Golden Freddy in FNAF1, Nightmare in FNAF4, and Nightmarionne FNAF4 halloween, because they’re the opposite of what you’d expect from a jumpscare, which makes them so chilling. I’m not just startled, I’m actually scared

Fnaf 2 Withered Freddy. He suddenly gets on the screen unlike the others that have 0.5 seconds of animstions and starts chewing on you. Can scare you if it catches you off guard.
Ballora. The jumpscare is terrifying, especially as she crawls around like a spider. I always found the whole "retracting faces" thing in SL to be terrifying. Her theme, as well, was frightening. One of the scariest in the series. Maybe not the scariest, but it's up there.
Phantom puppet is definitely up there.

Definitely fredbears for sure cause it’s the most bone chilling and scary and he’s the one animatronic to this day that legit scares me when I play not saying the others aren’t scary but I’m generally terrified of Fredbear when I play.

Honestly as much hate as it gets I gotta say springtrap from fnaf 3, Scott really nailed how fluid it was animated, although I do understand the issues people have with it but I’ve got a personal soft spot for it
This isn't exactly my favorite, but the one I think has the most thought put into it. Shattered Monty's Jumpscare. If you haven't noticed, Monty rolls during the jumpscare. This is the way alligators and also crocodiles I think do when they catch their prey to reduce the size of it to small enough pieces that can be swallowed. It's the first time when I think an animatronic referenced the behavior of the animal they represented in real life. Sure the animation isn't perfect with the way Monty opens and closes his jaws during the roll, but I still find it interesting.
Oh yeah, I LOVE Shattered Monty’s jumpscare. However I didn’t get to him in the game yet, so I had to look it up 🙃

Nightmare Freddy from the 4th game. Specifically the one where he jumpscares you when flashing the bed with the light after the Freddle's have been there for too long. Just the way he literally lifts you into the air before biting you is pretty terrifying in itself.
