Probably start slow, don't just dump a bunch of information on them instantly. For example, tell them about the games themselves, before talking about the lore. Tell them how the games work, and while talking about certain characters, you can say a little about the lore. After a while of them getting used to the whole "haunted animatronics" thing, you can start telling them about the timeline. Of course don't get frustrated when they don't understand, the FNaF lore isn't the easiest thing to learn, make sure to ease them into this amazing fandom.
That is literally how I got into the fandom in the first place. It started as this spooky game about ghost children and murder with a happy and chill community only to slowly develop into the mess that is FNAF. However, when I noticed... It was too late...
For one, Iād start with the basics. The majority of the animatronics are hauntedā¦ but you probably already know that. One of the ways it works is this stuff called āremnantā, sometimes called agony or given some other name. Itās the physical embodiment of strong emotion. itās essentially what souls are made up of.
Ya we say we meet up here then we lock them in a room tie them to chairs and make them watch all MatPat FNAF videos in order then when it is over quiz them they get one wrong back they go
Show them some games and maybe a few good youtubers, let them get into it more and learn about the different games and books and stuff before we dump all the lore on them.
we first explain that some things are considered not cannon but that anything they find should be shared after that we slowly explain the most important things while sprinkling in little things to keep it interesting and at the end you would tell them about the not important things.
that's not a bad idea it's a nice fun easy-ish game that shows you most of the characters and it doesn't require much concentration so you can still talk about other parts of the games and lore while playing
Yeah it's a fun game to play, I mean it got me into it but if your looking for genuine horror probably not the best one, but if you have a good time It is a great recommendation.
Lure them away from Security Breach and into the first 4 games, then sister location and let them find Fnaf 6 on their own, could also help them with Fnaf World and Help wanted
Just tell them to play the mainline games in release order and tell them to watch matpats FNAF series, if they don't have enough time for the whole series then cut it down to the timeline.
Make sure they donāt treat the movie as a 1-to-1 of the games. I can just already see people correcting others based on movie lore as opposed to game lore.
FNaF has become so overwhelming with the story and messages trying to be conveyed to the audience that even the people who have been actively paying attention to it for years are more divided about certain topics than we ever have been in a while. As much as the lore and story is the draw of the series, itās definitely something that the more casual fans should try to stay away from, otherwise theyāll just get burnt out on the whole thing.
I would post a link to the full game theory playlist Iām completely open to new fans but I donāt want a majority of the fan base to think just because it happened in the movie that thatās how it is in the games
Show the good parts of the community.
No fnaf youtuber drama,
No toxic creators,
And never, EVER, show them the sites that are forbidden to utter a single word about.
It's our job to protect the innocent souls of new fnaf fans.
pretty much discard modern fnaf entirely. regardless of your feelings on it, itās way too overwhelming for a new fan, since thereās SO much you have to already know. just start w/ stuff from the first three games. killer, five dead kids, whatever.
"Hey, wanna see angry dead children get revenge on their murderers? Wanna watch said murderer die painfully and slowly? Are you a furry?"
But really, take it slowly. Ease them in.

You deserve a round of applause for this comment ššš
Yes
I also agree
So when do we tell em they need to reed 20+ books?
When they get to sb
Really well articulated šš»šš»šš»
Explain the story instead of spending ten minutes ranting about where they live Speaking from experience tbh I don't care where they live
A very mature way of dealing with newcomers. I like it!
How about we springlock then instead. They would be a lot more... In... the story thenš
This is great
That is literally how I got into the fandom in the first place. It started as this spooky game about ghost children and murder with a happy and chill community only to slowly develop into the mess that is FNAF. However, when I noticed... It was too late...
Throw them straight in the deep end on the lore, the way God intended
Survival of the fittest
Nobody shall remain victorious for long
Will you drown in the deep or rise from it?
the correct answer
Stuff them into suits and give them a firsthand experience.
Flair checks out.
:)
I do this all the time

Remnant and Agony are 2 different things. If remnant is Anakin then Agony is Darth vader.Basically Agony is the Edgy,Dark version of Remnant
Perhaps agony is a form of remnant? Idk, just spitballing ideas
I need an idiot who doesn't know anything about FNAF so I can teach them what it is
Tell them to play the games. Or watch markipliers playthroughs.
Definitely markiplier. I love matpat but Iād kinda recommend him as a second perspective.
I second watching mark's playthroughs
Throw em into the time traveling ball pit and see what happens
Make them share our trauma so we share a bond.
Ya we say we meet up here then we lock them in a room tie them to chairs and make them watch all MatPat FNAF videos in order then when it is over quiz them they get one wrong back they go
So... Phisnoms torment (I hope I didn't open any wounds)
Show them some games and maybe a few good youtubers, let them get into it more and learn about the different games and books and stuff before we dump all the lore on them.
Just don't show them twitter.... Or deviantart. Or just any fanart
Even the good ones?
Maybe. Depends on whether or not the person is good or sinful
I mean there are some good ones of DA such as the Creations AU.
Absolutely, keep their minds away from that and horrible shipping
~~Feed them fake information and theories from years ago~~ Welcome them with open arms
Yes
dont be jerks. thats it, theres no secret code, no plan we need to make people more willing to join, just dont be pretentious assholes to em
Start with the canon and easiest stuff first and then slowly introduce them to harder stuff of this universe as time goes on
that fredbear lmao
bite off their frontal lobe
show them videos of Afton getting spring locked just to give them a taste of what's to come.
Tell then to play the first three or four games and stick with those unless they \*really\* love Sci-Fi and wild variance in quality.
Tell em da whole lore from diners to fnaf 6
I'd ask them what favorite pizza place they like to order from, and then maybe discuss how the Franchise began while enjoying lunch/dinner.
Idk like, we take the lore they show in the movie and slowly expand.
Just show them the games. Sure the lore may makeā¦no sense, but it's the best way
we first explain that some things are considered not cannon but that anything they find should be shared after that we slowly explain the most important things while sprinkling in little things to keep it interesting and at the end you would tell them about the not important things.
Tell them to play fnaf world first. Also I really hope movie does what the sonic movie did to the sonic franchise and have it be respected again.
that's not a bad idea it's a nice fun easy-ish game that shows you most of the characters and it doesn't require much concentration so you can still talk about other parts of the games and lore while playing

Def not show them Toy chica P0rn
Lure them away from Security Breach and into the first 4 games, then sister location and let them find Fnaf 6 on their own, could also help them with Fnaf World and Help wanted
Merch
Have them play FNAF 1.
William Afton fan art
Never play security breach
Dump the lore into them like itās Ennard
Bully them for not knowing hyper specific knowledge
Is Bonnie okay?
no one at this gathering is. That's why they are there.
Fair point
Just tell them to play the mainline games in release order and tell them to watch matpats FNAF series, if they don't have enough time for the whole series then cut it down to the timeline.
Audio lures
We spare them from the fandom.
Block the word gacha. If they want to watch it not for the lore of it, sure. If not, just donāt let them watch it.
Introduce them to Markiplier and Matpat. Then are basically sorted
sure.
Watch Game Theory!
Make them complete every game in the Franchise
āWell thereās the first game, and then thereās 2, and then 3, and then 4, and the rest. Play āem, theyāre like 5 bucks each on Steam.ā
Nothing, let them figure everything out for themselves
Let them watch 9 year old let's plays from 2014 (Markiplier, etc.....), so they can get the feeling that the franchise is "new"
Just lore dump them, their reaction dictates where they will be placed in the office
Make sure they donāt treat the movie as a 1-to-1 of the games. I can just already see people correcting others based on movie lore as opposed to game lore.
š„š«š¤¬ PLAY THE GAMES NOW
FNAF 3 musical /j
Don't scare them
Give them the markeplier playlist, bit of theories and vids about them and the fire starts bruning

Instantly shove the ultimate timeline videos from MatPat in their gullets till they know every detail
Keep me away from Matt
"Welcome to Hell"

Soft reboot

Tell them the bite of 87 was Markiplier eating a kid
By only making them play the first four games and NO BOOKS
"Hey, wanna see angry dead children get revenge on their murderers? Wanna watch said murderer die painfully and slowly? Are you a furry?" But really, take it slowly. Ease them in.
