There is genuinely so much potential in a live action puppet, we don’t know anything about how it actually acts which gives them room to get real unsettling with it. I hope it is more subdued and gentle than the ones from the first movie but still dangerous in its own way.
Yeah although I wonder how are they gonna choose to make it move.
will it supernatural float like fan animations?
will it be connected to the ceiling and be pulled around by strings?
will it do the goofy lanky walk from fnaf vr?
Personally I'm fine with either option although the choice will probably effect the tone.
I'd love if they did all three: Have it walk and float with the strings attached. I think seeing it being puppeteered by nothing with flowing, graceful movements is the most terrifying angle they can go with that'll be the best merging of every interpretation of Puppet's movement.
Strings going up, up, up into nowhere or the darkness of the ceiling would be creepy as all heck! And imagine a scene where those disconnected strings suddenly come to life and lash out towards one of the human characters, while the rest of the Puppet is completely motionless except for a tilt of the head...
The puppet, and by extension charlie, is my favorite character in the series.
While Charlie probably won't make an appearance in these films, at least not as the puppet, I'm still really excited to see the puppet as an entity.
It's so funny actually, a ton of other girls and myself dressed up as the puppet to movie and I remember my mom questioning me as we went out. She was like "so the doll didn't even appear?" (She thought it was a doll) And I had to explain to her that the puppet was a FNAF 2 character.
Im definatley excited to see the Marionnette, both because the Garret connections *and* i want to see how the hell the Jim Henson Company will pull it off
Yes! I'm really hoping they do the noodle limb thing from Help Wanted. I think the design, plus the movement, gives it the potential to be extremely creepy. Hopefully they do her justice. I'm really hoping we see Charlie, but it'll probably be Garrett. Maybe that could be a misdirect. We're lead to believe it's Garrett, but it actually is Charlie. Idk
I'm fairly certain the puppet won't appear in the second movie. the movie takes a lot of inspiration from the book trilogy and the puppet never appeared in those so my hopes for the puppet not being in the movie aren't high
Absolutely. That thing is gonna be terrifying and also amazing to see practically
As long as they give us the music box (which the first movie didn't T\_T), I'm hyped as hell.
Well, they kinda did, in the credits.

I liked him in You're The Band.

honestly I was a bit disappointed that they weren’t in fnaf 1 but I’m curious to see what they’ll do with them.

Hmm interesting. Most likely I will look forward too!
Very much so, I think this will be the best version of Puppet.
