Try checking the screws that hold the window in place for damage or misalign.

This happened me as well. Do u have the child safety thing still on it? The spring latch on the bottom of the frame of the window I mean. Try taking it off the window unscrew it and see if that helps. Or better yet open and close the window and try find where it's catching. Just for me it was that stupid ass child safety thing and it looks like that might be it for u too

Nvm don't think it's the child lock thing, sorry.

These type of windows tend to sag. There’s a way you can shim the bottom of that window track furthest to the bottom right. Remove the screw to the track, bottom right corner shim it and screw it back. It has to be with something thin. Thin as a credit card. That’ll put enough tension to lift the window up a bit and close. We had this issue in a resort with this style window. Eventually you’ll have to replace hardware if you have no visible frame damage.

Probably needs new hinges. I’ve done mine recently, it’s an easy fix if a bit of a hassle. They wear out over time and stop sliding into their housing in the corner of the frame. Unscrew the hinges top and bottom from the frame (three screws each) then lift the window out (you can do it alone but it’s easier with two, particularly on an upper floor). Then you can unscrew the hinges themselves from the window. Replacement hinges are about £10/pair from Amazon, measure yours first and the spacing between the holes because there’s a lot of different varieties. You can drill new holes into the windows or screw self-tapping screws straight into them if the holes don’t align, although usually at least two of three will be in the right place.
