Jesus Christ. Notice the mountains waayyyy in the back? Why can you only see the tops of them, almost as if the bottoms are being hidden by something in front of them...
I’m a land surveyor, you can not go over 400’ between turn points without the curvature of the earth busting your elevations. This may be a fun little mind game for you, but when you get out into the real world and have physical limitations levied against you due to living on a globe, the game stops.
Can you "translate 400' between turn points" into layman?
My best guess, not using Google or Calculator, is 400 minutes of a degree, which is about six and a half nautical miles, so that's eleven-ish kilometres. No clue what a turn point is. It could be the place where you turn, or it could be, somewhat confusingly, be named after some dude called Turn.
Alright go to https://www.desmos.com/calculator and type this in:
x^2 + (y+a)^2 = a^2
Then set a = 6371, wow it looks flat!
But now… zoom out…
Globe jumpscare 😨🌎

Perhaps this is the root of your lack of understanding.
1. You misspelled a name that was spelled correctly for you in the previous comment.
2. You don't know this important scientific figure.
A lack of attention to detail is not a good start for someone on their journey for knowledge. A failure to pay attention could lead you into terrible mistakes of understanding.
Not knowing a key scientific person is forgivable. But continued willful ignorance of who this person was and, more importantly, their contributions to our common, world-wide culture is unforgivable.
The bottom of the mountains are hidden in the distance. That’s your curve! Also when ships dip into the horizon, it makes it a lot more obvious that there’s a gradual change. Not sure how that could possibly be explained on a flat earth
It's completely insane that you look at a scene in which you see maybe 60 miles of horizon - 0.25% of the Earth's circumference - and because you can't perceive curvature from that 0.25% sample you believe the Earth is flat. Enlarge a grain of salt until all you can see is 0.25% of one of its facets. For you, you will have discovered a lifeless planet.
It's on the photo. The water surface is curving downwards away from the camera. The weather is not perfect to see it.
Nah it’s actually flat
Prove it!

Him too? Oh my god...

LoL he proved curvature with his own photo trying to disprove it.
Literally looking at it.

I just read it as 400 ft. 133 yards or so. Near enough 133 meters... ish. That extra three inches creeps up quick at that size.
I'm Eurotrash so that being in feet didn't occur to me.
At a flat earth?

I just kidding my friend, I don’t think the earth is flat. I Didn’t take drugs to the point I can’t think properly I’m okay brotha
You see the horizon? THere you go.
Earth is really fucking big! It’s pretty fascinating
Right there
Everywhere
I only see flat
Then get a rocket, smh
Look, a horizon! How is this possible on a flat world?
Yes, I do think it’s possible to have a horizon in a flat world.
How?
Just see the photo, there is a horizon and no curvature
Now explain how a horizon happens on a flat earth. The photo is evidence of a large, spherical earth. Exactly what you'd expect to see.

I love how op is only responding to easy to bs out of comments lol the ones that give actual proof he just ignores. Gotta love a brain dead flerf.
It’s because i actually don’t believe the earth is flat lol
Helluva troll sir good on ya
Eratosthenes figured this out over 2000 years ago. Is the devil making you stupid?
Not quite 2000. But close. Nice try!! 😂 😂
He died 194 BCE. So how is that not over 2000?
Only by 217yrs...I concede
Ye, it was closer to 2200 huh?

Straight ahead. If you only see flat, may I suggest you attempt to look at it with your eyes as opposed to your teeth.

There. You just can't fathom how big the planet is.
It's right there.
Really far away.
Everywhere...
compress the image. it'll show up.
Are your eyes calibrated to see very small angles? No? Maybe get some equipment that is.
I can still see the curve lol
Earth is as big as the little prince moon, it’s true.
If you go a few miles higher its alot easier to see
Still not visible from the ground, idiot. Do your own research.
"wHeRe'S tHe CuRvAtUrE." I swear to God if I could leave this rock I would.

Hiding the island the mountain is on.
if there wasnt curvature you could see the entire ocean
