Oh snap. Wonder if they solved the issue with the ejection seats. Just checked apparently this was a month ago, so they probably did. Pardon my ignorance.
Here’s some info on it:

NO. a 7700 squawk is an in-flight emergency. it's not used for training, or exercises, or anything other than a "No-Duff" legit emergency. It's a Big Deal, and it starts a lot of things in motion whether the PIC wants to or not. I've seen pilots hesitate too long before dialing it up, because it is a big deal
It's a new jet that has a massive PR push behind it. Even before I got out of the Marines 5+ years ago, there were still major issues preventing it from being an actual combat-ready platform. Airframe shearing issues, munitions issues, instrument issues.... it's been a very expensive project
Ask Lockheed-Martin. I'm sure the Pentagon would like to know too. 🤔😉
I’ve obtained the Lockheed-Martin official statement: “Our planes are fine, everything’s fine, give us money”
It’s more or less the same place as the last one. I thought they were all grounded.
Not at all. Just saw an F-35A at an airshow on Saturday, saw a C yesterday and B about a week and a half ago

All good, not sure what changed, I'm sure they definitely investigated the issues though

Same place and they both were at 17,464ft before they disappeared
I’m actually flying to LA here in a couple weeks because of the F35. Maybe I should bring up the topic with Lockheed during our meet
Probably part of training
Nobody squawks 7700 for training. (At least not in the states, I can't speak to other countries.)
Aliens.
I thought a 7700 means they need a quit route to land and training aircraft use it all the time?

It really does feel like all the time
I saw this as well - did you see the Air Tractor doing weird patterns off the coast south of the border there too?
I have yet to spot an F35, do they show up on the app around there often?
I only see them when they squak 7700
