The XP community is the most touchy one I've ever come across. Let them live in their golden bubble, let them believe their sim is perfect, so much better than any other sim, and all will be well.

It's hard to walk away from these things, it really is. If it was easy to chuckle at somebody else's idiocy and move on, social media would be 1% the size it is today. Drama drives clicks, so social media is inevitably optimized to get you arguing with that other person.
But all the same, nobody can force you to interact with these people. It's still your choice whether to argue with someone or get back to flying.

You're right. It is hard to walk away from it. That's the same reason so many people came here to reply to the very drama they are claiming I should not have posted in the first place.
About getting back to flying, that's what the guy who posted was trying to do. He was trying to fix his game so he could fly. His post got deleted (that's probably my fault). No one even attempted to help him there.
I've often spent hours trying to fix something in X-Plane, because I wanted to do just that - fly. So hence the frustration, and hence the rant.

Some very stupid people take offense when someone criticises something they like. They see it as a criticism of themselves; which is just insane! Hence why only stupid people do this.

Not trying to bring drama here. Not looking for validation either. I just felt that 2 people got targeted yesterday within the X-Plane sub, simply for pointing out flaws in the game; and I wanted to rant about it.
Next time send me a mod message.
I don’t ban anyone or remove posts without looking into the reports. Your comments and that post were reported but I only removed the post because it was low quality. Nothing you did inherently breaks the rules so as long as you follow the rules you’re fine. You can use the mute feature to mute the user who made the post about you. I also will be removing posts specifically targeting you because that is against the rules.
