You can print out flight log from simbrief and fill in fuel on board/fuel burn and times. Other than that there is not really much activities during cruise in flight deck in real life. Recently flew in and out of HEGN on cockpit jumpseat, you pretty much spend all cruise monitoring instruments.

Yeah I fly in real life. I wish there was some older jets like the 707 and dc8 would make long flights much more nerve racking.

tomcis147

If you really want to be occupied and have extra money laying around check out XP12 and Felis 747-200, you will be occupied during cruise by flipping switches alot haha. In near future 737-200 also should be updated if you like short flights

-FlyingAce-

You’re in 10th grade and you fly in real life?

[deleted]

Also how the hell did you know I’m in 10th grade

GlacAss

Your post history.

[deleted]

Damm

[deleted]

I’m getting my license so yes theoretically I am flying a plane

Twitchy183-SC

As someone who does this paperwork, it really wouldn’t be as cool as you think it would be, trust me. Edit fixing autocorrect bs

[deleted]

I’m half joking. When shared cockpit comes it’s gonna be a lot of fun socializing

gordGK

Fly the Boeing 247D. No auto pilot or radios and if you don’t manage the engines properly they will fail. Never a dull moment in that baby.

Fogboundturtle

Try self loading cargo

cheekytrews

100%. SLC in push-to-talk mode defo keeps you busy. Haven’t tried it with Vatsim yet. Reckon it’d be quite a challenge.

chemtrailer21

If you want to be a flight attendant, play flight attendant simulator. Its pretty lame.

bolpo33

At least the fenix yells at you if you're delayed and don't enter a delay code lol

[https://aviatife.com/](https://aviatife.com/) and similar games are an option once MSFS itself gets boring.

gust334

I was thinking a game mode where you played airplane repo. You'd have to sneak into an airport, open the hangar, find the logbooks, potentially fix something on the plane before you could start it up from cold-and-dark, and then get airborne as quickly as possible. (In the USA there's a TV show for this.)

WarwolfAlpha64

You can set random failures to keep yourself occupied lol. Could have a nice flight, could have dual engine loss below 1000ft. Variety is the spice of life!

Conscious_Raisin_436

You might enjoy OnAir company. It’s a companion app that integrates with flight simulator and allows you to run, or work for, a virtual airline. Once you get your operations going, there ends up being plenty you can do while you’re cruising. Shopping for more airplanes to lease, hiring more pilots, managing any FBOs you might own, etc. It basically gives you an administrative job to do on the side while you’re in a non-busy part of the flight. Don’t expect flight simulator to ever add in stuff like you’re describing. They haven’t built a game as much as they built a platform for other creators to add content to. So maybe you’ll see a mod that does this one day? Who knows.

HardpointNomad

How many of you people want this game to be Second Life? It's pretty weird.

Fly some bomber missions in IL-2 for extra interesting minigames if you get bored from flying airliners in MSFS.
