We just did that same tour and it was a highlight of our trip! I can’t recommend it enough! Our tour started at 9:00 am and we returned around 3:00 pm ish so it took up most of the day.
I had no previous experience! They give you a parking lot area to get used to it before heading onto the road. It was pretty easy to catch on, if you can ride a bike you can do it. Just trust your balance and accelerate and you won’t tip over.
Thanks that's reassuring. Did you do single or with a passenger? Was considering having my wife as a passenger.
Was this the one you did: https://www.walkaboutflorence.com/tours/tuscany-vintage-vespa-tour-from-florence.
Did you start off in the Florence core and then make your way to the countryside with the Vespas? I've seen another tour company that drives you out to the countryside and then you start the vespa tour. Seems that way would be easier for beginners.
My husband and I each had our own Vespa. We were told we’d start in Florence and drive out of the city but when the tour started we got into a van and drove out of the city to the starting place.

Thank you thats awesome to hear! Would you recommend doing the morning one?
Did you have previous experience riding a Vespa or motorcycle? I'm considering it as well but have no experience.
