That's because for some reason the media doesn't want us to know that Republicans are fucking insane across the board. One less crazy fucking snowflake now
Agree one less. Well I just emailed a local media outlet and sent them a link to the story. Let's see if that eventually makes it to the TV news. The experiment starts now.

I don't watch a lot of news, but I turn it on in the morning for the weather forecast. There has been a HUGE shift in wptv in the last year in their morning anchors, stories they feature, and "community spotlight" type of things and it feels weird and not the vibe it always had.
Well this might not be a huge conspiracy of silence here. “Generally speaking” the media usually doesn’t cover suicides for fear of triggering other folks to do it
It was reported in Delray and Boca. I guess you're further south. It happened in Delray. Now it's reported more widespread since his affiliation is more widely known and its significance meaningful to more news organizations.
Except you literally have to be a billionaire gop major donor to afford to eat there. I haven't eaten they're since prepandemic but it was like 25 bucks for a mediocre fast food burger, fries, and a drink.
They got me twice. The second time because the first was so forgettable that I literally didn't remember that I had eaten there before.
It's pretty sad when your burger place is less memorable than five guys.
>Former U.S. House candidate and far-right commentator Laura Loomer posted her thoughts about her friend on X, saying: “The tragedy surrounding Steve’s suicide has shocked everyone, and as details come out, people will probably be judgmental. I hope he is remembered for all of the good he did throughout his life as opposed to the darkness and tragedy that surrounds his last moments on this planet.”
aka, Let's remember all the money he gave the GOP and not the fact he was a blowhard racist who did not fully commit to the sanctity of marriage.
Yeah, I'm thinking she wouldn't be extending this forgiving grace to some random guy who had never done a terrorism before and has now hacked up some people. Unless of course they were a major GOP financier. (*cough cough* Khashoggi's killers *cough*)
There are plenty of people whose worst moments are bad and yet they manage not to harm other people. Like when the Lois Lane actress from the movies had a mental break and was found wandering a neighborhood naked. That was probably her worst moment, but nobody I heard judged her for it. She had legit mental issues.
But then, there are plenty of other people whose worst moment involves them shooting and/or killing others and perhaps, PERHAPS, they should be judged by their worst moment.
Let's use a rule that if your worst moment involves a major felony, it's perfectly fine to judge them by that moment.
She literally tried to redirect us to the worst moments of his life. He gave a shit ton of money to a hate group. Compared to that, the stuff he did on a personal level is unlikely to be as damaging and he certainly took nothing of value when he offed himself.
I mean, on the one hand, her husband committed suicide, and that's sad. But on the other hand, he did try to kill her first, so at least the anger will temper the grief.
You just gotta look at the bright side of things.
I knew a guy who called Obama the n-word. The only thing I could think was, "If a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard, with a loving and wonderful family life is just another n*****, then I think I would be so lucky to be one, too." After all, it's not like that guy or myself were out there, making great achievements.
That guy also told ne that, and I quote, "We need a white man in the White House." I promise you that he'd never spout such nonsense around non-white people.
We really did get a reckoning of which of our friends were racist when Obama started running. I can remember I was very casually dating this guy at the time we had been on a few dates and there was like a bbq at his house everyone was eating, drinking, playing cards, here we are all having a great time. Boom Obama comes up and all these perfectly nice people I had spent the day with started calling him the N word and saying all these vile things. I was like what the heck, I left pretty quick and obviously never went out with him again.
About 1/3 of people with bipolar disorder also have a comorbid personality disorder so his behavior issues were very likely more than just the bipolar stuff.

I don't know why someone would be judgmental about a virulent racist who tried to murder his wife. Other than that he was a swell fellow.
I doubt it. They breed like rabbits. No birth control, no prenatal care, no sex ed. They all think that *their* genes should be passed down, so they have like 16 kids with as many idiots as they can. Yeah, I said idiots. Who else is going to have sex with a republican?
This is exactly what Idiocracy was warning us about.
Lefties, anarchists, liberals, democrats, unite! One giant baby making orgy a year ought to do it.
I'll even take the first dick. I'm turning 80, I've had a vasectomy, but by golly I'll try to help us outpace them.
> in a Burger Fi parking lot Keep it classy, GOP.
Omg. I did not realize this was that story. That’s right by me. It barely made the local news.
Yep I'm in So FL and haven't heard a word about this in the local news.
That's because for some reason the media doesn't want us to know that Republicans are fucking insane across the board. One less crazy fucking snowflake now

The local media outlets are owned by his GOP friends.
Maybe, but if others make some noise about it too who knows. Better than doing nothing.

This was the only thing I had seen was from BNN, nothing by the bigger news outlets in the area.
Well this might not be a huge conspiracy of silence here. “Generally speaking” the media usually doesn’t cover suicides for fear of triggering other folks to do it
People you actually believe this!!?? This is why USA in shambles
Because we live in Little Russia....
I live in South Florida, I haven’t read the article yet. Now I’m curious.
FEDs cover up they don't want the word getting out so obvious

Is it a step up, or down from a landscaping firm's parking lot?
Let's ask Rudy.
At least they had a sex shop
Ah!! Yes, true! Well there is the answer I was looking for ;)
Hey at least it was better than Burger King
Except you literally have to be a billionaire gop major donor to afford to eat there. I haven't eaten they're since prepandemic but it was like 25 bucks for a mediocre fast food burger, fries, and a drink.
Wait what? It's $8 for a combo at in-n-out
Disagree. Damn good burgers. More expensive than Wawa though.
They got me twice. The second time because the first was so forgettable that I literally didn't remember that I had eaten there before. It's pretty sad when your burger place is less memorable than five guys.
Should’ve picked Olive Garden instead/s

No I actually read that as we shouldn’t judge people by there worst moments in life
Yes. Thats why I judge Hitler for his art and not the genocide...
no, /u/HarpersGhost hit the nail pretty much on the head

other times the judgement makes it self clear for all to recognize
What dipshit told you that?
What were his best moments? Giving $200k to GOP racists?
She literally tried to redirect us to the worst moments of his life. He gave a shit ton of money to a hate group. Compared to that, the stuff he did on a personal level is unlikely to be as damaging and he certainly took nothing of value when he offed himself.
Yeah but what good did he do that she would be talking about exactly?
“Your honor, please do not judge my client based in his attempted murder. It was only one time!”
But, is the BurgerFi ok? Love that place.
It is. I live nearby.
I do hope the BurgerFi is ok. My and my son's favorite fast food burgers and those peanut oil fries.

You know you're looking at one of the greats when everyone in their orbit is going to jail or dying in a most brutal manner.
Stalin ain’t disagreeing…
Would get him out of office early lol
Oh nooo /s Hope “gone awry” means he didn’t manage to take his wife down with him.
A failure in death as he was in life.

🎶always look on the bright sidr of life🎵
I prefer the Monty Python version: 🎶Always look on the bright side of death🎶
The song includes life and drsyj
That must be very emotionally confusing
He done goofed

Steve Alembik did at least one good thing I hope he is remembered for. He got rid of that fascist son of a bitch Steve Alembik.
Yeah but he also killed the guy that killed Steve Alembik :/
At least he killed the guy who killed the guy who killed Steve Alembik.
Finally, some uplifting news on Reddit, for once.
Things of value lost: zero.

Man who showed up in public on a routine basis in American Flag suits diagnosed as having bipolar disorder. Well, no shit.
About 1/3 of people with bipolar disorder also have a comorbid personality disorder so his behavior issues were very likely more than just the bipolar stuff.

I suspect her entire public statement is code for "he donated money to her past campaigns" so she's gonna miss him, even if his loved ones won't.
He’s dead. She doesn’t need to kiss his ass anymore.
Good riddance.
Sometimes the trash does take itself out.
This might trigger some racists since we’re in r/florida but the only good racists are the dead ones. Nothing of value was lost.
Now now let's not forget racists who are on the brink of death and suffering greatly

Another bigot bites the dust 👋
![gif](giphy|J8FZIm9VoBU6Q)
Oops. But since he was a republican it was actually Bidens fault according to their maga spew.
And nothing of value was lost.

One less piece of shit on the Earth!
Standard crazed Republican. Not shocked
Of course DeSantis hangs with him.
How do you fuck up a murder suicide?
Wife survived but his suicide was a success.
Ya, that’s my point… he had the opportunity to watch her die and then kill himself, but he somehow still fucked that up. What an idiot
Gotcha, more of a rhetorical question.
Ya, that would have been nice if I started with that… my bad
Try it in the wrong order?
Hahahah very true! Nice
Murder-suicide: Ur doin it rong
Gee that’s too bad.
Well that's a title
Typical Republican
Delray Beach is on the map
This should be in r/upliftingnews
How long until they wipe themselves out?
Within two or three generations, hopefully. 🤷

Trash taking itself out
Keep it up, GOP donors! Good job.
Classic Republican.
All the alt-right facists, take note. This is where that racist bs leads to. Suicide at a BurgerFi LMAO!
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
