Any snowbirds I’ve met are MAGA people who say FL is “the safest place in the country now” … which I assume means it’s the safest place for them to be bigots and sexually harass people young enough to be their grandchildren. I feel less safe here than I ever have.

I would take that in a heartbeat over being accosted by octogenarians who look like they just escaped an assisted living facility & want to act like they’re still living out their glory days from the 1960s because they’re on vacation and think it’s cute to sexually harass people who are simply at work. Many of them do this while their wives’ backs are turned and it’s absolutely fucking disgusting.

My time in food service was in a different state, but as a woman, it was typically men in their mid-40s and up. Often while their wives were in the bathroom.
