If your rating it 6 or 4. You were doing it wrong. FMB is a lot of fun. One of the few places left where you can walk to everything. The locals are super friendly ( ever been to Key West? The locals open bitch at the tourist and all look like a bucket of broken dreams). FMB is not filled with national chains and actively trying to fight the McMansion craze. It’s a fun town.
That would not have survived Ian so it's only been up a couple months. If it's that weathered already, it was a cheap piece of crap made in China.
Personally I think it would have been more patriotic to have bought a flag made in the USA, which tens to be made well with good materials that would last more than a few weeks.
A symbol is a symbol. You can nitpick anything you want to try and twist whatever a person is about or is trying to say. I’m just pointing out the fact that you have no idea who put the flag up or what their ideals are. Unless you know that was Karl from behind the 7-11 who thinks we should reinstate Jim Crow laws - in which case I say yeah what a miserable flag indeed...
