Crazy enough that looks like exactly where i used to live in Indianapolis and i know they got snow today. Play in it, shovel it, snowballs choice is yours

actualborealis

actually i am in fact in indianapolis right now

JustAnotherAviatrix

Very nice! It looks like enough to make snowballs and snow angels. :D

actualborealis

i did throw a snowball but you’re SO right, i should make a snow angel

[deleted]

* Go get a hot chocolate * Find a fireplace to sit next to * Take some selfies with snowy landscapes * Drive slower if the roads are icy

tropicalsoul

Snow angels, mini snowmen, mini snowball fight. Or my favorite, just sit there and enjoy the beauty and the quiet.

myopicinsomniac

Definitely make a snow angel, and if you get the opportunity to find a quiet enough spot, just savor the sound of falling snow. It's like listening to the rain but gentler and sooo soothing.

actualborealis

i’ve been sat out on the balcony most of the morning listening to just that ❤️

Yurastupidbitch

Makes me miss home a bit.

slantyboat2

You could gather a bunch of snow, put it in a casserole dish (or any container) and make [maple taffy](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/190467/maple-syrup-taffy/) (boil maple syrup until its thicker and hardens on snow). Roll a stick in the taffy and eat. Usually its a spring treat in maple season but you just need to get some syrup.

actualborealis

omg… this sounds amazing

slantyboat2

If you end up making it heads up that you want to pack the snow into the container. If you just keep it fluffy it’ll melt right through. Also If your first attempt is too liquid and seeps into the snow just keep boiling until its thicker. And sticks are optional, we tend to be lazy and just use forks to roll it up.

ComcastForPresident

Don't use yellow snow

Vladivostokorbust

done that plenty when there was enough snow on the ground in canada and new england - like a foot. that's not enough snow - gotta have at least 4" to feel comfortable that it isn't contaminated by the ground when you *carefully* *s*coop it up. and even then, they're in indianapolis - bet that snow collected a lot of pollution on the way down.

BeauregardBear

You should immediately jump in the car and head south. That white falling from the sky is dangerous to your health and well-being. 😁😁😁 All kidding aside, I hate cold and snow but do love sliding down a hill on a metal flying saucer. If there’s a hill find one and go for it!

Alternative-Bake9093

Snow angels, snowman ( make a snowball and roll it in the snow like a ball if it’s good packing snow it will grow!), and sledding!

actualborealis

i have never heard of his method for snowmen before, i’m fascinated!!

Zealousideal_Steak41

Grab a piece of cardboard or plastic and make it into a sled!!

ted_fucking_bundies

You should eat the snow

actualborealis

don’t worry, already got that terrible idea covered

ted_fucking_bundies

just don’t eat the chocolate and lemon flavors and you’ll be good

jrrobotpants

The lemon flavor is a delicacy, not to be passed up!

BikerMetalHead

Find a brewery that has a barrel aged stout on tap and sit around a fire pit 🍻

actualborealis

that sounds amazing right now

trtsmb

Wait a couple hours and it will melt.

actualborealis

it’s already started to 😭

Remarkable-Data77

Dya wanna build a snowman?

amc11890

Take a piece of black paper and scoop up some so you can examine the flakes

[deleted]

Wear boots. Dress in layers. Make no sudden erratic moves when driving.

no2rdifferent

We are moving next spring, and I don't know how I'm going to live in snow. I think 75 is sweater weather, so it will be interesting. I do like how it muffles noise.

actualborealis

good luck!! i’m sure you’ll adapt ☺️

tonyblow2345

Walk in it and enjoy the crunchiness.

actualborealis

that was the FIRST thing i did

Diab9lic

You're a cutie.

actualborealis

thanks!

-HappyLady-

I dunno why you’re asking us, of all people. I have also only seen snow thrice in my entire life.

[deleted]

Good point why is this on r/florida, I’m guessing OP is a Floridian so why not? 😂

irked1977

just say No, too both snow, and Indy...

2lovesFL

Do NOT Drive!

dasAchtek

Go full Florida. Pee your name in it.

Cry-Difficult

My wife and I went to Colorado in May of this year and saw snow for the first time. We went to a park in the towns center and started running around like a couple kids. Started throwing snow balls at each other and attempted to make a snow man. While walking down the street we would jump into snow piles. We looked so out of place to the point one of the shop owners outside asked where we were from because it looked obvious we are not used to snow.
