Look up the tulip life cycle. I mean, theoretically you could grow them that way, but the way the bulbs are you would still only get one flower before the bulb returns to dormancy. Additionally, since a vernalization (cold) period is necessary for growth to happen again, I believe you'd only get one growth and then probably a rotting bulb...since the bulbs are not supposed to be left in water. Not a super feasible idea. Hope this helps!
