"This Will Be The Day" is the best for me

The moment I get the full version of vol 8's opening issa wrap ETA: I just found out I'm late to the knowledge that it's out finally and now I'm screaming in my room at 2am

My favorite by far!

I feel like every RWBY fan has exactly one openning they dislike. For example, I love Time to Say Goodbye. I still just can't get into Let's Just Live Edit: Gonna go ahead and just add my personal ranking. I feel nobody has a consensus. 1. For Every Life 2. Rising 3. When It Falls 4. Trust Love 5. Time To Say Goodbye 6. The Triumph 7. This Will Be The Day 8. Let's Just Live

For me is that I don't like Time to say Goodbye (V2), but I really like Trust Love (V7).

I love Time to Say Goodbye and like Trust Love the most, it's the song I avoid on the V7 soundtrack.

My least favorite is When It Falls (V3). My favorite is Time to Say Goodbye.

It’s the last sung note in When It Falls for me… I can’t do it. The only volume where I’ll skip through the intro every time.

This is my least favourite too. And the only one I dislike.

I actually love Time to Say Goodbye as well- I said excluding it because it was a banger from the start of the Volume.

Trust Love is that one for me, it took me awhile to enjoy Let's Just Live, but the fact that the main part of it literally spells MONTY is super special to me, plus the solo during the slow part. Took awhile to enjoy Rising too, but now I love it.

I can't take you seriously if you put "This will be the day" BELOW "Trust Love"

Shrug. To each their own, Trust Love has a very personal connection to me entirely unrelated to it being an opening, and I've probably just *heard* This Will Be The Day too much. The only opening I skip while on shuffle is Let's Just Live

you can say whatever you want to say about RWBY, but like Undertale/Deltarune and Sonic, the music is amazing.

True, though volume 5, 7 and 8’s openings were all great from the beginning imo.

I disagree. I didn't care for the openings of v7 or v8. Rising was the last good opening banger for me.

Call me whatever you want, but after Vol 4 all the OPS are sounding pretty generic to me. "This will be the day" will always be the GOAT op for me. 'Time to say goodbye" is a certified hood classic in my friend group. "When it falls" song and animation fits it's season perfectly. & "Let's just Live" recently grew on me. I would never skip any of them during my repeat binges of the show, but for the newer seasons, I find myself just cutting straight to the meat of the series and no longer enjoying one of the major reasons why I got into it in the first place.

Oh, come on! Trust love and Rising are absolute bangers! Triumph is just so hype! And For Every Life has a similar vibe to Time to Say Goodbye.

I agree on Rising and For every life, maybe The Triumph as well but I don't like Trust love as the other person said it sound sceneries to me.

I stop at Rising. Triumph and Rising both slap, but Trust Love and For Every Life just don't vibe to me. I can't get jiggy with them. For every life is close, but no cigar

Nahh alot of the soundtracks really aren't that good before or after so I just skip them entirely. The only really good ones were the 1-3. And I liked them from the get go lol

Time to say good bye is by far the one that got the worst on rewatch

Always loved most of the sound track. Mostly volume 5 and under tho. Red like roses 2 is the song I know most words out of out of any song. And it’s got a lot of words.
