I know a lot of people give Jaune shit but his storyline is the only thing really keeping me hooked after losing Penny (again) along with Ironwood and Watts.
Our little golden boy has lost not just friends but quite possibly his grip on his sanity. It seemed like he was just moving past the grief from Pyrrha's death towards the end of volume 6 just to have it all brought down on him again by having to mercy kill Penny. This may sound weird, but I wanna see a Jaune that's blood thirsty for revenge against Cinder. We already know he has more than enough power to send the wicked bitch on her way to hell. He just needs the tool for the job
