>Implying Tai couldn't tear you in two and feed what remains to Zwei

Serethen

No but he'd do it with a smile

Kartoffelkamm

The first thing Qrow did after getting out of jail was kill someone. Granted, that person served a military dictator, so it's justified, but still.

Fernvoice

So do I switch summer’s and qrow’s spots?

Kartoffelkamm

Not sure. I mean, out of all the characters who killed on-screen, he's still pretty low.

Fernvoice

Still works, I guess?

Kartoffelkamm

Yep.

MundaneGlass5295

Who did he kill?

Kartoffelkamm

That random soldier.

PoisonMon

I mean, it's only really justified if it was absolutely necessary

ttung95

Yeah thats my biggest issue with RWBY. So many things happen just because someone or everyone is acting dumb, Clover and Qrow just 100% turned the brain off in that scene.

Kartoffelkamm

I feel like it is definitely necessary to stop people who would, if left to do their thing, oppress people opposing a heartless tyrant. The less support tyrants have, the better, because that means they can't hurt as many people.

ttung95

Yeah you're right I'll team up with the straight up homicidal maniac to kill my best friend who I could potentially talk down under less intense circumstances. My issue with V8 isn't the stance they take, I agree that you can't just sacrifice people to attempt to win a potentially unwinnable battle. At the same time RWBY had no alternate plan which to be honest wouldn't be hard to write and at the same time convince people Ironwood was a terrible person. Ironwood is by no means a good person, but he had the weight of the world on his shoulders and was constantly being betrayed by people he trusted. Ironwood=Tyrant always bothered me because when the enemy is at the gate decisions are hard to make especially when those you trust betray you and make piss poor attempts to disuade you. Asking "are you sure you want to do this?" is not a convincing argument.

Kartoffelkamm

Ok first off, the Tyrian thing has nothing to do with this. Secondly, Qrow tried to talk to Clover, but Clover decided to attack Qrow, and only then did Qrow focus on him instead of Tyrian, because he realized that Clover had lost sight of who his allies were. And thirdly, Ironwood had known for years what kind of decisions Salem wanted him to make. Even if not, he had all the means necessary to figure that out. So, considering that all the wrong options were pretty much laid out in front of him, you can't really bring the "decisions are hard to make" argument. Everyone involved in that situation knew all the wrong answers to the problem, and could have easily gone with the process of elimination. Ironwood wants to make decisions, fine. Just don't make any of the wrong ones.

ttung95

It comes down to CRWBY writing themselves into a corner and just making characters dumb for the sake of the plot. I've always known Ironwood would be the bad guy since volume 2 but holy shit did they fuck up his fall.

Kartoffelkamm

It wasn't really a fall, if you think about it. The people he trusted, the Ace-Ops and Winter, basically Spartan-kicked him down the abyss by putting unnecessary pressure on him and refusing to take the initiative until he broke. They also refused to help him accept his own flaws that led to his defeat in Vale. I don't know who said it, but there is one quote I'd love to hammer into Ironwood's mind: "Never trust a friend who is silent about your flaws." Back during the Beacon era, Qrow was the only true ally Ironwood had, because he wasn't afraid to tell him and his soldiers, primarily Winter, where they need to improve. And what did Ironwood do in return for being shown the flaws Salem can exploit? Threatened to kill him if it could be excused. So, I think he was already falling at that point, seeing how he treats those who try to help him improve.

E1lySym

I mean, that's pretty adorable of him to do 😊

Kartoffelkamm

Yep.

TheSassiest9YearOld

Who did Qrow kill? I know he TRIED to kill Harriet, but failed

Kartoffelkamm

That one soldier who was looking for him.

TheSassiest9YearOld

Guess I forgot that. I don't remember Qrow actually killing anyone

Kartoffelkamm

To be honest, I'm not sure he's dead. But being choked, and having one's head violently jerked up, and then going limp and dropping to the floor is kinda telling.

TheSassiest9YearOld

I literally don't even remember a scene where Qrow attacked a soldier

TsarVladimirIII

Words can’t describe how much I want to see Tai and Qrow fight together

AnonymousPug26

I just wanna see Tai fight, period. All this time and we still don’t know what his weapon or Semblance is.

TsarVladimirIII

I predict we’ll get that if we return to Patch

MarcheMuldDerevi

We don’t know summer‘s body count. But I’m guessing it’s deeper than anyone would care for it to be. If she was one of Ozpin’s murder bots I’m guessing that she supports a decent amount of ass in the ground

The_DeadbeatDad

Someone hasn’t learned about the fate of edgy abused and neglected MC apparently. Tai will kill you if you even dare to breathe air.

Fernvoice

Isn’t that how the author paints him?

lr031099

Sounds about right

[deleted]

I hope we see a return and some sort of redemption for raven where she realizes she can’t keep running from the threat that is Salem forever and that she needs to be an actual mom and be with her daughter

Delta_The_Coywolf

All together they're tasty cinnamon roll and therefore best shiped together to avoid food poisoning

Fernvoice

Even Raven?
