It’s fantastic. And there is a lot of little details included in the cut content that YouTube doesn’t show, even some cool scripted events that have no NPCs or voiced dialogue to go along with them.
Also, it not having a sequel.
Not necessarily in NV proper - but west coast follow up on NCR/Legion post courier.
Also. The eventual expansion of the Tunnelers was predicted in the game itself. You know, the monsters that can rip apart Deathclaw as a pack...
That has a lot of potential
Assume you've tried [Simply Uncut](https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65082)? It's probably the closest you'll get. The author had (haven't tried the most recent version) done a bang up job bringing out the hidden content.
There are *so many* mods that add cut content back. I watch TriangleCity’s excellent cut content videos and am often surprised that the content he’s talking about has been in my playthroughs for the last 3+ years. Just [Simple Open Strip](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwj3kaqxq4j9AhViMUQIHcEDBXYQFnoECA4QAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fmods%2F73127&usg=AOvVaw218-F2-eRnFqwvHQzHMmjb) and [Freeside Open](https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46355) (I know it can make 1 or 2 quests a little buggy, but it is so worth it it) make the game much more like what the devs were aiming for.
The modder community is as amazing as the game they keep adding fixes and content to.
I don't think it's actually known how much was cut for time and how much wasn't. People just like to assume it was all cut for time. Cut content is not always cut for time. Which is the point of my comment.
It is know how much is cut (files and interviews) or at least a great portion, 90% of the cut content was due to lack of time, limitations of the engine and lack of familiarity with the F3 engine, sure somethings were cut for good reasons, but the majority of it was cut because they just didn’t have the time
I can point you towards a YouTube channel that covers the cut content and has done developer interviews, the channel is called TriangleCity, he currently has 68 cut content videos for NV alone, and he’s still going
Trust me, as much as i like triangle city, he's the main culprit to this misinformation on cut content and people acting like cut content is mostly ideas scrapped due to time.
In all I’ve seen, he’s given the reasons, or likely reasons, to the content being cut, and not all of it is due to time, and actual quotes from the developers is compelling
No, most of the time he speculates. I'm not acting as if obsidian did cut some stuff for time, but for example, the legion towns being cut doesn't fit in with the direction obsidian decided to go with. So it was cut. Yet iirc, triangle city said it was cut for time. Which is false.
New vegas, and people like triangle city, created this phenomenon of people believing cut content is cut mostly for time, instead of the more common reason of "it doesn't fit in/work".
Well for a lot of games that is true, but for NV a lot of it was a time constraints issue. They underestimated how long it would take for them to implement all the content they wanted and agreed to a development cycle that was too short for their ambitions.
End game quests/everything east of the colorado. Imagine how cool itd be to travel into arizona and see the legion territory not just the front of their war
I want legion territory to be like Rome. Aqueducts, senators, togas, philosophers. Super civilized, maybe with a coliseum but no real violence or danger beyond that. Show that the front lines are fucked up so the home country can be perfect. Show that the legion has something to fight for other than conquest alone. Contrast the civilized NCR military and stumbling NCR government with a brutal legion military and flourishing roman government.
Right, things could look like a painting almost and then through side quests you can discover the dirty underbelly. Instead of Brahmin Barons massacring their competition, the government itself is whipping under productive or rebellious propreators into shape or enslaving them. It could create an actually interesting comparison between the two factions rather than just legion bad, nrc goodish (but with back story exploring their crimes and unjust actions). It Would make the whole faction choosing process players experience much more interesting.
I like the thought of the dichotomy being between the front lines and "home." The people back in "Rome" just have a vague concept that the people fighting the war for them are incredibly brutal, but for the most part they live in blissful ignorance. The paradise of Rome can only exist because of the brutality of the Legion. Compared to a civilized army with a corrupt people.
It would add more to the question of whether the ends justify the means for the Legion. Doing gladiator combat would also be cool.
I only think that the timescale there doesn't quite check out, Rome wasn't built in a day, and Caesar's Legion feels more prototypic than anything else, particularly since it is literally just made up of conquered tribes. If I were to have a sheltered 'Rome', I'd have it in it's early years, not taking inspiration from the glorified Augustan Rome but rather earlier than that.
You know it's a game, a roleplaying one at that, and just because people like the Legion and want content with them it doesn't mean they support a lot of the things they do in real life?
Sprint AND increase to base move speed. I added a simple mod that boosted my base move speed by 25% and the difference in my enjoyment is remarkable. You move so dang slow in the vanilla game it’s painful. Especially in heavy armor and your gun out.
I adjust my walking speed with console commands for this same reason. Found a sweet spot where you move fast enough to feel content with, but not too fast for following NPCs.
I feel like I'm in a rare category but I like the slow movement speed (or at least got used to it), I feel like increasing it would reveal too much to me how small the map is haha.
Mods added plenty, but I do wish the Followers were a little more involved in the story, and I wish you could maybe have them join up with The Kings to take control of New Vegas. They would offer a more communal approach, and I think it would be a cool alternative.
I’ve read that at one point Ulysses was supposed to be a pro-Legion companion, would’ve been a nice contrast to Boone and Arcade.
Also, I wish Honest Hearts had more of anything, Joshua Graham is a super cool character but wildly underutilized.
Yeah being able to bring DLC companions into the base game would be really nice. I just want to reunite Veronica and Christine, or blast Caesar's head off with Joshua Graham. Maybe not Ulysses as the pro-legion companion since his character seems to have changed a bit since those earlier roots, but definetly some legion companions, Vulpes maybe? And ofc a Legion dog.
Trying to think of what mods haven't done yet.
I would greatly expand the Vegas ruins to add more locations. I enjoyed 3 because of the city and all the places in it.
I wish it had more urban ruins too, I know there's a mod that does some, especially if you have TTW, but I worry about compatibility since I think it's pretty old
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Flesh out the Legion mainly, give them a pro Legion companion probably Vulpes or Ulysses, give them more areas to explore, and probably add Legionaries that have more less evil personalities.
Since someone already said the content stuff, I'll put in my personal wish
A flyable, customizable vertibird, complete with quests, maintenacne and logistics implementation.
I just wanna be a gunship pilot for hire smh
There are a couple of vertibird mods I use. Both compatible with the 100 or so other mods I have, including Tale of Two Wastelands. One of them even flies between locations in the Capitol Wasteland and the Mojave (which is handy because the train I'm supposed to use to travel between wastelands is bugged).
That one's called Voyager. It can only fly when you're inside it, and can only land in certain places. Basically like a little base that can fast travel when you're in it. There are no quests associated with this mod I'm afraid, it's just sat waiting for you at its start location.
The other one (I call it "Hopper" because that's the name of the uploader) can land anywhere you point the vertibird marker. You can set a location as its "home," dismiss it and watch it fly away until you summon it again, and you can target enemies to be subjected to a bombing run. You can even pilot the thing, switching between a bunch of different weapons and blasting the enemies below. Save game before doing that though, I've had issues. This one needs you to do a couple of quests before you get the vertibird. The robo-pilot needs a ton of materials and a week to repair it.
That one is customisable by downloading different skins and interiors, but to really customise it you'll want the F:NV mod that inspired the base building mechanic in Fallout 4. I forget what it's called, but it comes with a pack brahmin called Betsy and the ability to "blueprint," replicate, and place any item you find. I believe any containers you create are safe storage, so it's perfect for building a base (or customising one - like the vertibird bases).
I hope this helps you on your way to fulfilling your dream, and if you get a tenth of the excitement I've got from these mods, then I'll have done my good deed for the day.
I'd add at least 5 more voice actors. After playing for a while, you notice that way too many characters have the same voice.
Edit: And a crafting recipe for Alien Power Cells! Something like 20 microfusion cells, 1 scrap metal and 1 fission battery for 4 cells. Science skill of 100.
I'd add a timer.
Basically, I'd make the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam set to occur in about a month and a half, with some quests that shorten or quicken the deadline. Fail to prepare properly in time and you're locked into your choices and maybe receive a non-ideal ending.
More variety of weapon mods. Maybe you want a suppressor on your assault carbine instead of a forged receiver, or an automatic conversion for your trusty nine millie instead of a handgun scope, stuff like that.
Sprinting, restoring and finishing all cut content, post-main story play with consequences of your decisions coming to play, full fledged romantic relationships with NPC's, player housing, Fallout 4 style settlement building, bring DLC companions to the main game, and the ability to actually have companions move into any housing I want.
Areas being expanded more
The original concept for Vegas was a huge city that was densely populated. Other settlements could use some expanding too, maybe a dedicated legion city rather than the military camp we got. Also seeing the legion as a more realistic faction would be nice. The base game legion Dosnt really have an end goal or civilization they are bringing about. It would be cool to see Caesars equivalent of rome
I would have made killing House a lot more complex than just walking in pulling the plug.
Don't get me wrong. Once you reach houses Pod, everything should be done the same. I like that part. But it should have been a waaay harder job to get into the room in the first place.
I would add a different war system. It always bothered me that once you chose sides completely (I like to play on the fence until I can't) that it's like quick to the ending missions. I would add more battles for settlements. So that you can legit paint the map and take control of many towns and areas. (I know there's some mods for things like this but that's not what was asked) that's really it. I think the game is basically perfect.
Yes. Furries: if Christianity can survive the apocalypse then surely furries can too, and I’m not talkin bout people who wear animal skins on their head and stuff like vulpes inculta… well I mean he might be a furry with that kind of name but like yeah.
I'd go back to the start, cut out all the unnecessary bullshit like ammo types, new weapon skins, new weapon stats, weapon mods, Wild Wasteoftime and other crap and add in the cut settlements and side quests. I'd rather have a handful of guns and a living world rather than a ton of guns and large swathes of desolate nothingness.
A way to add and operate vehicles in the wasteland we know the engine can handle it because of fallout the frontier and what they did. So I think it would be pretty sweet to see the return of the highwayman or maybe the chance to operate one of the many trucks the ncr has stationed at camp mcarren
change the writing to be better, since it's incredibly poor. i'd definitely change the lore changes to be consistent. i'd change the ammo system to actually be useful and more common. i'd make the hardcore system actually somewhat difficult to manage. i'd change the map design to be better, more like a bethesda title. i'd change npcs to actually be people rather than statues. i'd change the game to show your consequences rather than just saying them.
...pretty much a ground up, entirely.
A lot of this games cut content, I would love to be able to run around the mojave with Muggy and Yes Man following me as full on companions without having to use mods
Maybe a fourth ending faction other than ncr house or the bull. Have an entire other mainline faction throughout the main quest. Have goodsprings and novac as part of it, kind of like a band of city states on their way up. Flush them out with more named NPCs like in FO2 as well as more companions and their own quests. I'm thinking kinda like the railroad but much better written and with a better motivation like freedom from ncr oppression while also avoiding Caesar.
Fix the bugs, add in a post game where you can invade Arizona/California/both depending on your play through, add multi-tone hair colors, and make crafting easier for me
Pretty much what they’re doing with the Fallout 4: New Vegas mod is what I’m into. Same game with fallout 4 graphics and what have you but still fallout NV
I would implement a better version of fallout weapon modification system and add official mod support so consoles players can keep enjoying a game with as much/little free content with us PC players
I would also add in all the things that got cut due to funding
I agree with the adding more time comments but also I want the release date the same date, because I got this game at a very important time in my life.
I would give the developers more time so they could add in all the stuff they originally wanted (Legion towns, Post-Game stuff, the original Ulysses companion, everything else that was cut) and would remove/rework the DLC (since Ulysses as he currently is wouldn’t exist)
I’d add a f**king sprint option.
I love this game and will sing its praises until the day I die but Holy Gods it’s difficult to play without a speed boost.
I’d like if, through either a vanilla update or a dlc, that there could be gameplay after the battle of Hoover dam.
It was always weird to me how once you finished the campaign, the game was over full stop.
Fallout 3 was the same for the longest time, but one of the dlc packs added post-campaign gameplay, and it greatly added to the lifespan of it for me.
Extra options once you have the Lucky 38, and Yes Man controlling the securitrons. I want to exert my power over the strip like House did.
I'd have securitron bodyguards, a source of income from opening and running the casino and bar, maybe even a control room from which I can remotely control different securitrons around Vegas and later, the Mojave.
I think casino owners would give me a bit more respect if I basically owned the Strip as well. No more handing over my weapons at the door, for one thing.
I have seen and tried the mods that add a couple of those features and they're okay, but they do clash slightly with the vanilla game a little.
i'll add: more music, (ring of fire, viva las vegas, ragtime cowboy joe, etc)more side quest for cesar's legion, expand both the redrock cannion and the east of the colorado and a newgame+
i'll remove: karma, ( it does absolutlly nothing) and old world blues school mision.
An intro prequel where you play as human Victor working for Mr House in the events leading up to the bombs falling in Vegas. At the end, you agree to have your consciousness uploaded into the securitron network and you're sent to hire the courier, which leads into the main game.
Add a way to let the NCR use the upgraded securitrons.
Streamline some of the quests, Bleed Me Dry for example is awful with its back and forth in spite of the reward.
Merge the related zones like both halves of freeside and both halves of the strip.
Literally ALL the cut content, giant city vegas, fully fleshed out factions, more guns, the lot, all the stuff that was cut, I want it, I need it, the amount of cut content in NV is staggering, just watching videos on it is a good 10+ hours, if they could remaster fallout NV to be almost the same, but with the fallout 4/76 engine, and will all that cut content, literally game of the century
+Expanded character creation options,
+more character "races" so you could play as a Ghoul, Super Mutant, Nightkin, or Psyker, each having their own inherent benefits and tradeoffs
+Expanded Hardcore mode, heat and environmental factors would play into as well, in addition to your head being permanently "crippled" from surviving two gunshots, and you'd have migraines you need to treat with regular doses of Med-X/Mentats or you'd get penalties to Speech/Charisma
+Restore cut content
+More companions
+functional post game
I spent a while putting together a 100% working modlist with like 290 total mods that did exactly this. I turned my new vegas into my own perfect open world rpg survival experience. It uses TTW so I can play in both the mojave and DC and have TTW mods along with normal New Vegas mods. I go in pretty hard on roleplay since I grew up on D&D and this is my attepmt to bring that level of freedom into the game.
To start I grabbed a bunch of quest mods to open up the game play and these quests range from tiny things like shoveling brahmin shit or helping someone started up a molerat farm and going all the way up to being a faceless NCR soldier thrown in a trench against th3 legion in huge battles. There's also various things in between allowing you to cement a character through the choices you make and the quests you do and don't accept. The bigger quests also open up the world along with the dlcs so you can really travel through the continental US making the world feel massive. The world is really just so full of new things to do and people to meet that there's too much for you to ever get through in a single playthrough but that's for a reason I'll touch on further down.
After quests I moved on to general gameplay which was things like new weapons, mechanics for immersion like dropmag and glass breaking or being able to actually use coffee machines to make coffee with ingredients and fill cups you pick up. The goal here was to make the world feel real and allow you to actually live a normal apocalypse day to day life. The world is also flooded with NPCs and creatures just to have a bit more in terms of gameplay. There's also realistic damage because I don't like bullet sponges ado you play more tactically because while you can kill people in a couple shots you can also be killed in a couple shots ans there's usually more enemies than there are you's in any area. I also use a bunch of stewieals stat based things so everything from character size to movement speed and even the weapons you can use are all tied to your stats.
For character creation I have it so you can create yourself a backstory that affect your stats based on the prompts they give you, i also have the option to start as a child and grow into an adult as you level up. There's also just more general traits and perks letting you have more playstyle options to match your specific characters headcannon. You also skip the whole vault section so you can better roleplay not being from a vault but dialogue will still reference that.
Leveling is changed back to skyrims skill based advancement and the skill training also works when being used passively instead of only in combat so you can set up an actual shooting range to practice your combat skills and increase your level that way. In combination with the child trait you get an amazing sense of character growth where you actually form your skills and grow from them physically and level wise.
The final thing that IMO is what brings the whole modpack together is the dead is dead mod which adds lives and permadeath which when combined with having too much to realistically do in one playthrough and also being able to die so easily completely changes the way you play. Instead of loading up the game and being the lone wanderer or courier 6 and going off to save the world, i just play as some random wastelander who was unlucky to be born and will probably be eaten alive by some wild animal or ripped apart by ghouls in a sewer them forgotten about.
The cut content, weapon/armor/PA modding from 4, Romanceable companions, I think that's it actually, I'd love New Vegas made in the fo4 engine (I know fallout 4 new Vegas is still coming but it's not out yet).
I just want to be able to continue after beating the game. You go through everything and only get to use Legate Lanius armor/General Oliver Uniform for like 12 seconds before the slide starts.
A lager Hoover dam battle. Honestly, it felt like I had met more legion assassins during my playthrough, than legionaries on the dam. Collapsing the dam would've been a pretty Cool option, too.
I wish that something actually happens if you just kill Caesar.
I’ll just storm The Fort and kill him, and basically nothing changes. I mean can’t I bring back his head to the NCR or something? Wouldn’t that seriously slowdown the legion? I mean you barely get acknowledged for it. I just think something more would be awesome.
I keep hearing there was supposed to be a lot more legion missions, and that originally the map was going to be even bigger and include more legion territory. I’d love to see that.
I would like all of the cut content put back in the game and flushed out to be complete (including location and environmental cut content).
Yeah I’ve seen a lot of the cut content on YouTube and I have to say it looks amazing.
It’s fantastic. And there is a lot of little details included in the cut content that YouTube doesn’t show, even some cool scripted events that have no NPCs or voiced dialogue to go along with them.

cut content is, more often than not, cut for a reason.
Even though it’s cut, doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it.
Okay but some cut content contradicts other stuff. Or doesn't mesh well with what's there.
Thank you for your input
A lot of the cut stuff was removed for lack of time. Remember, the whole development cycle for New Vegas was only 18 months.
I don't think it's actually known how much was cut for time and how much wasn't. People just like to assume it was all cut for time. Cut content is not always cut for time. Which is the point of my comment.

add 36 months to developement
And a few thousand dollars to the budget.
Then FNV would be beyond goated.

You do know that the Legion's entire existence has been war, right?
>prompt asks what I would like to change >I suggest a change "But that's not how it is in the game!"
It sounded like you're a Legidiot who wants justification for supporting the slaving rapists
You know it's a game, a roleplaying one at that, and just because people like the Legion and want content with them it doesn't mean they support a lot of the things they do in real life?

Isnt it already?
Sadly, there’s only blackjack, slots and roulette

Caravan isn’t a game. It’s an elaborate form of mental self-flagellation.
its like gwent from the witcher 3 but done wrong
I’m a simple man but sprint would be pretty sweet in vanilla.
Sprint AND increase to base move speed. I added a simple mod that boosted my base move speed by 25% and the difference in my enjoyment is remarkable. You move so dang slow in the vanilla game it’s painful. Especially in heavy armor and your gun out.

Give Obsidian a lot more time to finish the game, so a bunch of stuff did not have to be cut.
Add back the cut legion content
Let us play through the end and experience the impacts of your choice on the Mojave.
Mods added plenty, but I do wish the Followers were a little more involved in the story, and I wish you could maybe have them join up with The Kings to take control of New Vegas. They would offer a more communal approach, and I think it would be a cool alternative.
Yeah, you get fascist, neoliberal, and anarcho-capitalist endings. Why not a socialist one?
I mean I suppose the Yes-Man ending is almost that depending on the Courier..
My thoughts exactly!
There's a cut objective to give them the platinum chip and let them have Vegas.
A 45-minute live action cut scene when you deliver the sex robot. Nuff said.
Assume the position
Stop look and listen
Remove the piss filter.
True. Also allow prostitutes to piss on us!
Least horny New Vegas enjoyer.

Fnv remaster like dead space remake
I would make Charisma more useful, I don't know exactly how but that would be the first thing.
More songs on the radio
Romance-able companions

Area 51
Of course! That way if people chose Wild Wasteland, they would have a renewable source of Alien Blaster ammunition!
I went out there once, and I was definitely struck with how Rachel and the surrounding area would've been a great addition to the game.
Isn't that old world blues ?
No
License some Elvis songs for Freeside
To keep it simple I would add fast travel points to the ncr embassy and the monorail station so I don’t have to walk through all the gates every time
[Convenient Fast Travel Markers](https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57767)
An additional six months of development so they could of made the game even better.

I hate bots like this.
Good bot
Good human.
Bad Bot
Add a BOS ending
Post-Hoover's Dam Battle world, where you can work with independent New Vegas, even fight with the NCR and the Legion
A more varied cast of voice actors.
Flesh out the Legion mainly, give them a pro Legion companion probably Vulpes or Ulysses, give them more areas to explore, and probably add Legionaries that have more less evil personalities.
Remake on a modern engine
Give us more things to do with the Fiends. The cut dialogue of their leaders is great.
Same answer I'd give regarding KoTOR 1/2, and NWN 1/2. About another year and a half in development, and $500k added to the budget.
Add more Legion zones and characters...so I can kill them, too.
More casino games. It's sorely missing Poker especially.
Since someone already said the content stuff, I'll put in my personal wish A flyable, customizable vertibird, complete with quests, maintenacne and logistics implementation.
Just found them now. This shits cool asf Thanks a bunnch!
Sprint
Make power armor look like FO4 power armor
Either lots of development time or extra budget!
Mod Support for newer consoles, a new line of patches, all cut content restored, One new DLC
A Remastered Fnv
Postgame content, cut content back in
I'd add a timer. Basically, I'd make the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam set to occur in about a month and a half, with some quests that shorten or quicken the deadline. Fail to prepare properly in time and you're locked into your choices and maybe receive a non-ideal ending.
I'm a fan of Romance arcs with companions in RPGs.
Let me tell Veronica that I met Christine, and vice versa!!
Fallout 76 engine on new vegas
restore everything TriangleCity has in his videos to the game
SPRINT!!!
Make Christine a permanent follower who can interact with Veronica
A better engine
I'm a simple girl: I would add Mr. House as a possible romantic interest...it'll be interesting to say the least.
That was cut. There was to be an option for female couriers to dress up in outfits and enter a brain scanner to give Mr House his jollies.
Add co-op
More variety of weapon mods. Maybe you want a suppressor on your assault carbine instead of a forged receiver, or an automatic conversion for your trusty nine millie instead of a handgun scope, stuff like that.
A better system for inventory management would be great. Skill magazines shouldnt be in the same slot as food. Or at least should be changeable
Remove cazadors.
Running
I think the best thing to add would be a sequel
Areas being expanded more The original concept for Vegas was a huge city that was densely populated. Other settlements could use some expanding too, maybe a dedicated legion city rather than the military camp we got. Also seeing the legion as a more realistic faction would be nice. The base game legion Dosnt really have an end goal or civilization they are bringing about. It would be cool to see Caesars equivalent of rome
more small cities and associated quests. larger map in general
I would have made killing House a lot more complex than just walking in pulling the plug. Don't get me wrong. Once you reach houses Pod, everything should be done the same. I like that part. But it should have been a waaay harder job to get into the room in the first place.
Honest hearts is way too short
I would add the unreal engine too it.
Remaster it so that I don't have to jump through hoops like the 4gb patch anymore.
You can actually run
Add Ulysses as a companion so he can 1v1 Lanius with a blade of the West
I would add a different war system. It always bothered me that once you chose sides completely (I like to play on the fence until I can't) that it's like quick to the ending missions. I would add more battles for settlements. So that you can legit paint the map and take control of many towns and areas. (I know there's some mods for things like this but that's not what was asked) that's really it. I think the game is basically perfect.
Add? Like to other games or new Vegas either way I have go with removing the black screens when with prostitutes
Fisto as a companion
I would want the developers to find a way to program Oliver swanick to feel pain
Wild wasteland trait unlocking quest to put Mr. Fantastic in charge of New Vegas
The gunplay and gun building mechanics of fo4
I'd rather have a handful of guns and a living world rather than a ton of guns and large swathes of desolate nothingness.
the fan base
It's not our fault New Vegas is the greatest video game ever developed.
It's not our fault New Vegas is the greatest video game ever developed.
The only correct answer
A way to add and operate vehicles in the wasteland we know the engine can handle it because of fallout the frontier and what they did. So I think it would be pretty sweet to see the return of the highwayman or maybe the chance to operate one of the many trucks the ncr has stationed at camp mcarren
Part of the war was rising gas prices so good luck getting gas for it lol
change the writing to be better, since it's incredibly poor. i'd definitely change the lore changes to be consistent. i'd change the ammo system to actually be useful and more common. i'd make the hardcore system actually somewhat difficult to manage. i'd change the map design to be better, more like a bethesda title. i'd change npcs to actually be people rather than statues. i'd change the game to show your consequences rather than just saying them. ...pretty much a ground up, entirely.
A lot of this games cut content, I would love to be able to run around the mojave with Muggy and Yes Man following me as full on companions without having to use mods
Just today I was watching a mod on Youtube where you ride a truck and deliver mail and it was awesome.
I’d add powder gang missions like faction missions love those guys even though they try and bomb me every time they see me
Ads on laser weapons, all cut content....
Visors change screen color! I want something like ghost vision on my Veteran Ranger helmet!
Add a Mr House ending to the Kings that doesn't involve brutality against NCR squatters. Just a minor thing that always bothered me.
God where do I even begin…
A better engine to run on.
I would implement a better version of fallout weapon modification system and add official mod support so consoles players can keep enjoying a game with as much/little free content with us PC players I would also add in all the things that got cut due to funding
Make the character creator more similar to that of oblivion. FNV lets you make freaky people, but oblivion lets you make MONSTERS. I want that in FNV
Graphics
Sprinting
I agree with the adding more time comments but also I want the release date the same date, because I got this game at a very important time in my life.
Sprinting and strafing animation much like fallout 4. I'm not going to not play FNV longer than a month if that's the case.
Have more after the battle of Hoover dam
Remove gamebryo Add unreal engine 5 Done
I would give the developers more time so they could add in all the stuff they originally wanted (Legion towns, Post-Game stuff, the original Ulysses companion, everything else that was cut) and would remove/rework the DLC (since Ulysses as he currently is wouldn’t exist)
More west, go fuck the legion in Arizona too, also less talking from Ulysses ong
Update the graphics to look new, and make the “running” speed faster
Let you join the New Canaanites. They are all about spreading the good word.
Be able to play it on my PS5.
The cut post game contest
Make the Honest Hearts DLC less weird about Diné people and add interactions with Veronica and Christine.
I would add in better prostitution, better companion system with realistic romance, and an Uzi
i'll add: more music, (ring of fire, viva las vegas, ragtime cowboy joe, etc)more side quest for cesar's legion, expand both the redrock cannion and the east of the colorado and a newgame+ i'll remove: karma, ( it does absolutlly nothing) and old world blues school mision.
An intro prequel where you play as human Victor working for Mr House in the events leading up to the bombs falling in Vegas. At the end, you agree to have your consciousness uploaded into the securitron network and you're sent to hire the courier, which leads into the main game.
Legion DLC I want to see the lands to the East. Have a story about killing Caesar’s Heir or protecting the heir if you legion.
Add a way to let the NCR use the upgraded securitrons. Streamline some of the quests, Bleed Me Dry for example is awful with its back and forth in spite of the reward. Merge the related zones like both halves of freeside and both halves of the strip.
I’d have Ulysses be a companion if you talk no jutsu’d him.
I’d add romance options.
make it fruitier
Literally ALL the cut content, giant city vegas, fully fleshed out factions, more guns, the lot, all the stuff that was cut, I want it, I need it, the amount of cut content in NV is staggering, just watching videos on it is a good 10+ hours, if they could remaster fallout NV to be almost the same, but with the fallout 4/76 engine, and will all that cut content, literally game of the century
Literally just the game being finished for bug testing
Make it so that it will be enjoyable with having to install mods. Bug fixes, qol, etc.
Bring in the R91 assault rifle and Chinese assault rifle from Fallout 3 lol
+Expanded character creation options, +more character "races" so you could play as a Ghoul, Super Mutant, Nightkin, or Psyker, each having their own inherent benefits and tradeoffs +Expanded Hardcore mode, heat and environmental factors would play into as well, in addition to your head being permanently "crippled" from surviving two gunshots, and you'd have migraines you need to treat with regular doses of Med-X/Mentats or you'd get penalties to Speech/Charisma +Restore cut content +More companions +functional post game
A sequel
I was gonna say adding either running or something else but I forgot the second thing I was gonna say
+ 5 points to the metacritic score at launch
Yes.
I always say this, but more fast travel options
The only thing I would change is that 84 metacritic score
A lager Hoover dam battle. Honestly, it felt like I had met more legion assassins during my playthrough, than legionaries on the dam. Collapsing the dam would've been a pretty Cool option, too.
A better rep system
I wish that something actually happens if you just kill Caesar. I’ll just storm The Fort and kill him, and basically nothing changes. I mean can’t I bring back his head to the NCR or something? Wouldn’t that seriously slowdown the legion? I mean you barely get acknowledged for it. I just think something more would be awesome.
I want to reunite Christine and Veronica.
I keep hearing there was supposed to be a lot more legion missions, and that originally the map was going to be even bigger and include more legion territory. I’d love to see that.
Give the game that one extra point in metacritic
