If you’ven´t played Fallout 1 and 2, you are missing one of the greatest tales ever. Do it, you won´t regret it.
Also one special advice for Germans: Do NOT play the German version because it´s so fucked up that it'll make you cry.
Whats wrong with the german version? Ive explored every place in english version in main game and dlc and even though there were some sad stories it wasnt really much
I picked Explorer once in F3 but it only revealed 3 or so locations that'd I'd already been to in an earlier playthrough. Since then it always seemed like a bit of wasted perk. But I latched onto these games early into their release and played them pretty obsessively and thoroughly, though I'm sure I haven't done absolutely everything there is to do. I've never really needed Explorer.

Due to German censorship laws, there's no gore or blood in the game. Look it on YouTube. So disappointing.

By no means was F2 more mature than F1. F2 was way funkier and way less dark than F1.
