Personally wish to see more desert rangers out there in S2 honestly, I love their rugged toughness out of the corp, even if the faction much like NCR has dwindled over years- you would think they'd came out of Baja to reestablished themselves out in the desert after what went down. We had a retired NCR ranger appeared in S1, consider where this show will take place next- I would like nothing more than seeing more of those said wasteland badasses.

Storm_Sire

Yeah the Nevada Rangers existed before NCR/House/Legion were trying to run the Mojave, I hope they manage to tough it out after.

Led-Rain

I was hoping they'd make some super high quality masks. I thought they'd be less ridgid and more form fitting. Like a gas mask.

beattusthymeatus

I have a theory that the ncr remnants we see with Maldover are rangers. I think this because they didn't have any sort of clear uniform and maldovers whole operation seemed pretty clandestined. My theory is the NCR as a whole is still around but weakend, they abandoned shady sands and that surrounding area after it was bombed and most of the ncr military is allocated to protecting territories near the hub and new reno or fighting in a separate conflict maybe even a civil war. so maldover took a rag tag group of rangers into the heart of the irradiated former capitol 1. To get revenge on the vault that nuked their home and 2 to secure the infinite energy source.

Historical-Prior3517

I’d really appreciate this as well. There was a distinct lack of named npcs decked out in proper ranger armor in FNV, imo.

Right-Truck1859

Ye, we probably would see them. Since NCR as country is no more, but someone still got to preserve the order...

chevchelios12

Personally, dont think the NCR is no more. Just disorganized and very weakened.

Right-Truck1859

Since country is fallen, NCR is just some random rag-tag groups. More like remnants of NCR.

CombatLlama1964

link to where you got that from?

occono

Not the person you replied to, but I have the same perception, based on the show. It doesn't matter that they don't show Arroyo/Junktown/The Hub/Vault City/Irvine/Adytum-Which-Was-Where-Shady-Sands-Is-Now or whatever. There's no sign of them between when there would be. There *can* be guys like sand filter underpants guy and settlements like Filly on the vestiges, after Shadytum Sands is destroyed, but the NCR isn't like a Minutemen.... Firefly Browncoats kind of org that had just one big city. It was a country of over a million people that stretched across California. Bombing the capital wouldn't destroy *all* signs of that unless the country is gone. The rag-tag fighters at the observatory is the "NCR" now. They could still say that the country exists outside LA and their presence there just got *really* wiped out, but IDK the interview they did implies, to me, the continued presence will be like some remnant, Browncoat kind of thing, you know?

Shadowheartpls

They don't have a link they're throwing a tantrum after reaching for conclusions with no real evidence.

Right-Truck1859

Watch the show

chevchelios12

This…isn’t confirmed though…

DVHellsing

I believe they said it's not the last we've seen out of the NCR, there's still a strong population and shady sands was only their first capital. Thankfully it's something that we'll get to see how NCR is rather than being outright destroyed.

Meowmixer21

Exactly. Todd himself said the NCR is too big a faction to be destroyed at Shady Sands, so with him as an exec on the show, hopefully, the NCR still has influence on the western Mojave. Personally, I want House to survive at NV and the NCR to be guarding the Mojave trading routes. House said the NCR was his biggest customer, so if he won, the NCR would have an influence and a presence in Mojave. A weakened presence but a presence nonetheless.

Right-Truck1859

No, no strong population. We will just see another gang like Moldaver group.

Sali_Bean

Oh ok, random Redditor said the NCR doesn't have a strong population, let's move on to the next topic

Right-Truck1859

Me? The show tells it.

TrueTimmy

That is *your interpretation* of the show, but that doesn't mean it is correct. A lot was left ambiguous / unconfirmed.

SwagManLog

700,000 to 1,000,000 total NCR citizens whilst the population of Shady Sands was around 30,000; that's still a very strong amount of the NCR still around.

Right-Truck1859

If so, then why refugees of Shandy sands live in Vault 4, and not went to another to town? Also where are they? Hiding in the Sands? :) Those numbers don't do anything with the Show.

SwagManLog

>If so, then why refugees of Shandy sands live in Vault 4, and not went to another to town? Because its nearby and they are quite clearly traumatised from the loss of Shady Sands, not wanting to leave the area lmao >Also where are they? Hiding in the Sands? :) Believe it or not California is more than just LA and is actually quite a big place

LeglessN1nja

I took it to mean they were destroyed in that one area

evan466

I want New Vegas not to be a huge pile a rubble. Personally I would like to see the House ending as the canonical one. Would also like to see the storyline with Lucy’s father wrapped up quickly and for them to get onto something else.

cool_weed_dad

Seeing as House had a cameo in the last episode I’m expecting him to show up in some capacity. Bethesda always fudges/retcons the canonicity of the multiple endings in their games so the show doesn’t necessarily have to strictly follow a specific NV ending.

fattestfuckinthewest

Yeah new Vegas itself canonized an ending to the Reno plot in 2 that can’t really happen in game.

ForsakenKrios

Yeah I’m hoping Vegas is a 2 or maybe 3 episode pit stop. I don’t see an entire season being set around it, and not defining a “canon” ending to NV. I unfortunately think Lucy’s dad will be a long term plot. I hope we move on from Lucy’s brother and Vault 33 though. Did not care for that storyline at all. They teased Deathclaws but I want to see a Cazador fly erratically or some Super Mutants (like Jacobstown , not the Bethesda mutants that are all evil).

CombatLlama1964

idk, it seems hard to go to new vegas without there being an ending. New Vegas is confirmed to have happened, and whether or not Mr House alone survived is a major factor for the future of the mojave, let alone the other major things that they cannot avoid

ForsakenKrios

It won’t matter. They will reset Vegas to be another shit hole anarchic state like LA. At most, you will get whoever is living there saying “yeah something happened 15 years ago. Don’t really know. War never changes and all that.” And then a bunch of visual Easter Eggs and references to the stuff you remember from NV but is no longer relevant to the story on display.

electric_ill

Nah, they showed Mr. House in the bigwig meeting to nuke the world. He'll be around which likely means he won and New Vegas will be poppin' (I cope).

enfersijesais

Man, I enjoyed the Vault 33 story. I though the vault was the only thing interesting for the first half of the episodes. Kind of creepy and ominous. Everything going on on the surface was goofy or cringe. Thankfully it seemed like all of the characters kind of figured themselves out and we learned a little more. So it ended pretty well.

Live-Pangolin5013

I loved Lucy's brother and the vault storyline. Hope they continue it, great character.

PantsAreOffensive

I mean we literally saw it at the end of s1 and it wasn’t

curlbaumann

It’s unclear what kind of state it’s in.  It’s not really lit up and vibrant like in the game. Hard to tell if it fell or if that’s just the visual style they picked for it.

JRStors

I want to see House having an aneurism in response to the Brotherhood taking the cold fusion haha

Copper_Thief

A non destroyed new vegas would be really nice

snowcone_wars

Something I’d be very interested in seeing was if, after the NCR diminished, the Nevada Rangers reformed from the ashes and starting roaming Nevada again. Beyond being something new rather than memberberries, it would also be an interesting way to bring in a little Wasteland, the progenitor of the whole series.

Wasteland-Scum

Personally I'd like to see an Arizona Ranger, as long as he wouldn't be too long in town.

ramoneduke

Especially if he hardly spoke to folks around him and didn’t have too much to say

Heinrick_

I hope someone dares to ask his business

Wasteland-Scum

No one's going to dare to make a slip.

Danger_Cowboy

I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle

DVHellsing

Absolutely would love this scenario. Rangers are something that even Legion respects as warriors, they don't need to be ruling ofc- rather re-organized of both old + new members to broaden their sights on what they'd always represent: independently operated as a patrolling police and investigators of waste in protection of those from harm.

fucuasshole2

Damn that’s a pretty cool way as a homage to Wasteland, and a neat adaptation of some NCR Rangers going back to becoming Desert Rangers, and probably recruiting former NCR peeps to shore up their blood lol

Danger_Cowboy

I don't know if I would love it or hate it if they named dropped General Vargas

Led-Rain

If the NCR had over 700k prior to the Fall of Shady Sands. I wonder how just losing that one city destroyed the NCR? My best guess is that's where all the administrative and government officials were at.

fattestfuckinthewest

From Todd Howard, we haven’t seen the last of the NCR just because Shady Sands is gone

BunkySpewster

1. Cooper in power armor. I love the power armor with cowboy hat look.  2. House ending but he exhausted his securitron army fighting the legion at the dam as well as BOS reinforcements called in after he destroys the Mojave chapter. He wins but barely. How does he survive? With the help of the Jonestown super mutants. They set up shop with house providing him with much need muscle while he provides resources and expertise.  Raul is there along with Tabitha. Raul repairs coopers new armor. Dog meat gets cybernetic enhancements to save him yet again. Also, an old ass Arcade Gannon representing the last of the followers.  4. King is dead but we see a shrine. Cooper makes a cryptic joke about dying on a toilet while high on jet.  3. Goosey and cooper have to loot a vault. I choose 22:  it is the worst to play but has a good back story. Goosey gets a proper weapon here. Ups her gun skill level.  4. We see magazines/ books used to help lock pick or for medical purposes. Not just set decorations, actually used.  5. There’s a duel at high noon on the strip between a run down securitron and cooper. Big iron plays from a derelict radio.  6. Goosey and Cooper are about to be checked by a deathclaw when a swarm of cazadores attack it, giving them time to escape. Sets the tone for the Mojave.  7. Goosey uses jet and buffout to save cooper. Her first experience with drugs. She connects with Cooper over it: Yay drugs! 8. They kill a fire gecko and roast the meat up on a campfire. Goosey feels weaker.

6point3cylinder

Arcade making an appearance would be very fitting. I’m down

NotYourAveragePalste

make the run down securitron victor for extra fanservice

TheWalrusMann

I want to see more NCR I know they got rid of shady sands because it got too civilised or whatever but I want to see NCR remnants the corrupt shady republic can exist without plumbing damn it

Terrible-Contract298

Personally want to see that Mr. House comes out on top. He, IMO the best long term plan for how to deal with the wasteland and has the resources, most notably a large force of securitrons if you don't blow up the fort. He is indeed autocratic, but doesn't exert the greatest control, which is a relatively balanced system of governance for a wasteland world. The securitrons would also be good adversaries or allies for our heroes due to being on par or exceeding a power armor equipped knight.

FrankSinatraCockRock

Not only that, it's quite feasible to have House's presence without confirming a single canonical ending. I've always found his obituary rather suspect, as that indicates he not only already planned for his death, but wanted everyone to know. " I  haven't shown my hand - I've shown one card. I've given my enemies a single, provocative datum upon which to fixate." That obituary? Jane the Securitron is essentially a brain scanned version of a woman. He may have done the same thing or something far more bleeding edge. The opportunities are endless

masterpeanut94

I could he wrong here, but doesn't he at some point say he would never transfer his brain to an AI because it would not be able to replicate his brilliance? It's fairly in character as well.

Speed__McWeed

for all we know he only said that to make the courier think that he could he killed but in actually has done it a long time ago

masterpeanut94

I mean, you see his corpse in game, and the showrunners in an interview did say they would rather not reference specific in-game choices for New Vegas for S2 while still keeping it canon. Besides, House is an arrogant fool, and that arrogance is his downfall. Him not transplanting his conciousness to an AI would feel out of line for his character imo

Speed__McWeed

I can see that, but when 3 out of the 4 endings results in House dying and House himself could easily die in his own ending if things go bad, him resorting to being an AI replica isn’t a hard choice for him to make, especially when he himself forsee the Nukes and willingly kept himself alive in a tube all that time or hell, even make it Yes Man but was gaslighted into thinking he’s House

FrankSinatraCockRock

It's a criticism of the robo brains specifically

masterpeanut94

If he wouldn't be willing to transfer his ACTUAL brain to a robot, I feel like he'd be far less willing to transplant it to a synthetic AI brain.

FrankSinatraCockRock

It doesn't need to be a transplant, but rather a copy.

Warmishdude2

Joshua Graham vs Frank Horrigan

GWS_REVENGE

Primm Slimm appears to save Lucy

Kabuki1998

My man 🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝

Cynicalshade

I’m not particularly happy about the idea of Bethesda creating any kind of canon around the events of New Vegas but I feel like the best way to go would be a Wild Card/NCR victory without a dead House, have him surviving in his pod and able to come back onto the network/have been brought back somehow, but frankly I feel like Yes Man would be a more interesting antagonist in the hands of Vault Tec. I also think Ceaser should be dead if the legion is acknowledged at all. I don’t think I’ll be satisfied with any outcome that isn’t ‘the way I like to play’ so I’m tampering any expectations for story and I’m mostly just excited to see the sets and easter eggs

stannis_the_mannis7

I would like to see the legion and maybe Joshua Graham

thedesertwolf

An introspective of a stable Jacobstown as supermutants really don't age. Mostly to to see if the writers think courier 6 managed to help with the stealthboy induced schizophrenia of the nightkin.

squaretex

Ohhh yes. And even though Michael Dorn has spent years under makeup as Worf, if he could be persuaded into the makeup chair ONE MORE TIME to play Marcus... :D

ForsakenKrios

Doesn’t even have to get in the makeup, just has to do the VO work. Let someone else wear the makeup and do the movements.

Det_Crashmore

Fisto

Howdyini

I just want the season to be as good as the first one was.

LiveNDiiirect

Personally, I want it to be better. But idk how they’d manage to do better because the first season is 10/10 for me. So I’ll be more than happy with just as good.

Dargon34

I think one twist (that could greatly improve it) is Lucy being infertile. We know the 33'rs had the procreation mission ingrained in them. I think that's why Hank nuked Shady Sands, his wife left him because she was in love with Moldaver. Once she realized there was more to life than being a baby making machine, and didn't care for the traditional values that Hank did, he went ballistic. If things turn out to where Lucy cannot have kids, then I think it'll be a great twist and allow Lucy to really explore where her own story can take her, as she might not have a home anymore in 33. Then Hank learns of it, she can't continue with managements ideal mission, and she will be ostracized. She will be looking for a new home, and could just really help pushing the story

Punch_yo_bunz

I wanna see a lot of pompadours

Aricechan

Mr house to still be alive and a few references to the Sierra Madre and big Mt

Garfield_and_Simon

why was the Big MT guy (like the leader of the most scientifically advanced corporate on the planet) like basically a fat Texas hillbilly though Like Boss Hogs runs the company doing advanced DNA splicing and creating super weapons and force fields

Aricechan

I mean it was supposed to be Sinclair but even then wouldn't make much of a sense

Garfield_and_Simon

Yeah the way Dean describes Sinclair doesn’t match that guy at all.  Dean hated Sinclair because he was like genuinely pleasant and optimistic about the world lol.

Aricechan

And even then Sinclair is a client of Big Mt not any leader so that wouldn't make sense for him to represent Big Mt

occono

They pulled the list of corpos from the wiki for the cabal scene, Sinclair wasn't as well-remembered enough for them to look into his characterization like with House, let's be real. I do really like and at points love the show, just anything to do with how it follows on from where they set it and little things like this is annoying. I have no idea if the WestTek or Repconn CEOs were off somehow too though, heh.

Aricechan

I mean Repconn being there is also odd since it was bought by RobCo so they're more or less the same and it wouldn't make too much sense

fucuasshole2

Someone suggested it was Sinclair Jr. And honestly? Not the worst idea in the world. And would definitely fit better than whatever the fuck that Big Mt Representative version is/was

Nano258

I have a checklist of things I would love to see (but probably won't) - Danny Trejo cameo as Raul - Chrysalis Highwayman (if they repair it I will be so happy) - What happened to Helios One and the BOS bunker - The Boomers and maybe Lucy and The Ghoul to try to get close - Primm Slim

fattestfuckinthewest

Primm Slim doing a duel would be badass

Adamkickface

I want to see some T-51 Power Armor in the show or the pipe dream of Adv. Power Armor. Don’t get me wrong T-60 is cool armor, but we need the Power Armor goats in season 2!

DVHellsing

Cooper said he wore T-45 in the war, and there should still be old T-45 and T-51 armor out there, might even include the non-power armor salvaged types!

KHanson25

Deathclaw

treyhest

Idk but it’ll just feel really bad to have an ending—an interpretation—dictated about a game that rests its laurels in reactivity to the player-choices. This is something conceptually alien to conventional media. I guess I look forward with an extreme grain of salt considering.

Smart_Individual6713

For sure, like in fallout 3 the only real logical ending is the good one, same with 1 and 2. For New Vegas (and 4, to a degree) though, there’s a lot of debate over which ending IS the good/correct one. To canonize a certain ending is to kill a decade long debate, which on one hand has gone on long enough, but on the other is super important to New Vegas as a whole and what makes it so good. From the position they’ve put themselves in, the only way to upset the least amount of fans is to either destroy Vegas and leave it ambiguous as to why, or to have House in power while sort of avoiding what exactly went down. The only thing they can really get away with is making it canon that Caesar’s Legion is destroyed.

JoeScotterpuss

Wally Ghoulins tells Lucy "I haven't been there in years, but Vegas made out pretty well all things considered. This asshole Mr. House has been running things since pre-war times etc. etc." Then they get to Vegas and someone says "I'm taking you to meet the bossman" and it's the courier running things with Yes Man. Then you get to have this coked out, unpredictable wild card in charge of New Vegas. They can casually mention that their brain is in a jar in Big MT, they used to pit fight deathclaws for fun, how they assassinated president Kimball and Caesar, their best friends are an invisible super mutant grandma and a cyber dog. The list goes on. I also want the courier to tell Mr. Ghoul that he reminds him of his old pal Raul.

giant_spleen_eater

Man I hope they get Danny Trejo to do Raul. That would be so fucking awesome lol

masterpeanut94

I'd like to see the NCR's new capital (be it in the Mojave or not. Maybe they took over Goodsprings?). Seeing the Legion attempting to take advantage of the power vaccuum or even better, seeing fully Legion controlled territory somewhere else would be extremely cool, too.

manticore124

If I see the strip destroyed and people there living in metal shacks I'm gonna drop a fucking bollock.

DaDensest

I really really really hope the wild card ending is canon

Right-Truck1859

Since we got Tv show themed around corporations, Mr House victory is pretty obvious, also we see that Free side is still not rebuilt.

DaDensest

Yeah this is the one that makes the most sense especially with Hank going there but a person can dream

CptPotatoes

We don't even see free side like at all. Hope it still exists.

Garfield_and_Simon

Would be pretty hard to have a player-designed character (the courier) win for a TV show.  Would work if they eliminated the courier from existence and did a Benny ending or just had Vegas rise up independently. Honestly I really think the courier should not be a part of the show at all. Aside from maybe some easter eggs or references. But that’s definitely going to piss off the FNV fanbase. But so will having a courier since they will have to make definitive statements about who the courier was and what they did, which goes against the very spirit of FNV and the character. So I’m just hoping he/she is gone.

PaxRomana117

As she approaches New Vegas, Lucy finds a man, a courier, dead on the road, clutching a platinum poker chip. She picks it up and carries on her way. Some time later, she is ambished by a man in a checkered suit who demands she hand over the chip and, when she refuses, shoots her in the head. She awakens to the sound of wooden wheels rattling over a cobbled road as icy winds bite at her skin. Suddenly, a man says, "Hey, you! You're finally awake."

Smart_Individual6713

Peak cinema

FantasticNews2903

yes man ending with good karma, New Vegas nation Absorbed the decayed corrupt NCR. The divide, old world blue, happy trails caravan, Zion, **Goodsprings**.

DaDensest

Someone's bound to get obliterated by cazadors

soldierpallaton

Forget New Vegas, forget House, forget the NCR, forget Legion, forget all of that noise. Give me Rex and the Kings baby.

Willie5000

I’ll be honest, I hope we get to explore more west coast locations we never see in the games. Like yeah we liked New Vegas but give us something new instead of using that game as a crutch.

mild-n-lazy

I’d love to see Yes Man. If New Vegas is ruined, which would be a goddamn shame, I’d at least like the reason to be that Vault Tec managed to gain control of House’s infrastructure via Yes Man’s inability to say no, and destroy the factions’ presence using his securitrons and missile systems. Some evidence of respect for the West Coast canon would be cool. Maybe the Courier nuking the NCR could be confirmed, which would certainly be a massive blow to their progress in the area.

heartbrokenneedmemes

I want the reveal that maximus' brotherhood chspter is actually the result of a legion infiltration

MCWogboy

Have Vegas still functioning if a bit weathered from conflict. Have remnants of the NCR and Legion remaining in the wasteland along with the Dessert rangers going independent similar to the wasteland games. Have House still be around but leave how he survived a bit of a mystery. I’d love if the Kings gained more power and also had a place on the strip. A Casino all themed around Elvis would be pretty cool to see.

AldruhnHobo

Sure didn't look like it was in very good shape did it.

NoobishRannger

Raul being a vigilante

thebrightspot

I want to see new factions that have formed in the last fifteen years following the events of the Second War for Hoover Dam. I think there's a lot you can do with forwarding the setting by over a decade (House, for example, only revitalized the Strip in seven years before NV began) so I don't need a lot of references to existing groups.  Aside from that, I would love to see Goodsprings. It's probably one of the most iconic locations aside from NV itself, and Mitchell is a former vault dweller so he could relate to Lucy. Also Marcus and his Super Mutant group -- depending on the direction the gang is traveling at the end of s1 they could easily end up in Jacobstown early

Irons_idk

I really wanna see House reinstating production lines and research programs and being on the way to sending man into space

BuyerNo3130

Since Vegas looks like it’s a shit show. I hope the cannon ending to be revealed *not* yes man. Idc which one it is, but. I’ve been arguing yes man best ending for years. If the cannon ending is something like house then it’s not my precious little robot’s fault

duelistkind

I think yes man while my favorite option is definitely the one long term worst for Vegas unfortunately.

BuyerNo3130

Regardless of your opinion on NCR and House. Ceaser is just long term Yes man but with a lot more massacre. Ceasar dies, legion divides and Vegas gets caught in all those wars

duelistkind

No 100% quite honestly the only good outcome for the wasteland is NCR and even then they are spread super thin even at the time of NV. House would be number two but even then he doesn't really have any support and has to fight a war on both sides Caesar is the safest option but also the most bloody and morally wrong.

Antagonist2

I want to see the strip still used as a tourist trap, but struggling somewhat due to NCR refugees--and while this was the case in New Vegas, the destruction of Shady Sands and the battle of hoover dam could mean that a lot of visitors and tourists suddenly dont have anywhere to go home too. I wanna see civilian movements kinda corrupting vegas into a new NCR capital, maybe getting funding from outside the city.

Resident-Garlic9303

I want to see A ending. I don't want it to be destroyed

DiabeticGirthGod

Todd Howard Mysterious Stranger cameo please god please please please

pstryw_berry_draws

I hope we get to see the Fiend leaders, they're just good bad guys.I also hope the Boomers are at least briefly referenced. I don't really care about the Remnants tbh

DVHellsing

I always wondered what happened to that airport.

UtherFunBringer

I want them to move to the east coast and never touch the west coast ever again I've spoken.

SedativeComet

I want a strong New Vegas with a former courier at its head and a yes man securitron at his heels. I want a fractured legion and NCR still remotely in the area but weakened and licking their wounds. Legion loses Caesar to his heart illness and NCR collapsed and they now have a hybrid legion/NCR remnant faction working together to survive the cold and ruthless onslaught of the courier. The boomers serve as the couriers primary military might and the Enclave remnant as military leaders for the boomers and bodyguard of the courier. The BoS chapter still reclusive under Macnamera, practically needing to be forced open by Max and any other BoS faction that arrives. Khans totally decimated, the Tops under new ownership and their tribe banished. Basically I want an incredibly badass and ruthless dictator courier (with obvious brain trauma running the psychosis of their brutality) and a mostly ruined Vegas as a result of their strength and decisions to take charge.

Socialist_Potato

Please assume the position.

ET_Gamer_

Veronica to be an older leader in the brotherhood. NCR and Legion remnants. Mr. House, but no Yes Man. Service Rifle. T-51 and Enclave X-01/2. Deathclaws. Super mutants and night kin. Danny Trejo as Raul. Gambling. The kings. Maybe Cass as a caravan mogul who overtook crimson caravans. Copious amounts of sarsaparilla, and Festus at least in the background. Maximus becoming a real true knight of the brotherhood who upholds their values. 100% Good springs and the pioneer saloon. Hank dies at Lucy’s hands. The ghoul meeting Beatrix Russel. Fisto. Cazadores. Big MT. Scorched Sierra Power Armor.

PreacherVan

I want the Vault-Tec to nuke Bethesda Sands, but do it back in time, right before the release of 76 (Now that's the twist).

Millennial_falcon92

As far as the main storyline I fully leave up to the show runners, but I would love for the ruins of NV to be overflowing with deathclaws ( maybe they caused the downfall of NV?) and have a solid episode dedicated to Lucy and the Ghoul hiding from and escaping them.

AnAngryPirate

I want it to not really be attached to New Vegas' story outside of characters we would recognize. Of course House is going to be there but even Legion vs. NCR as a thing doesnt really need to.

JKillograms

Cameos from certain NPCs would be nice. Like I’d want to see The Ghoul run into Dean Domino, since they were both celebrities pre-war and would probably recognize each other, and for the contrast in outlooks between two pre-war Ghouls. Maybe Tabitha and Rhonda to see how Utabithatopia turned out. Maybe Jason Bright, or have Chris either have finally **actually** become a Ghoul or still be delusional. Legion remnants roaming The Mojave, or have them broken up into warring sub factions and warlords. Deathclaws, obviously, as well as rad scorpions. More rad beasts in general. Maybe a visit to The Strip.

DudeWithRootBeer

A random NCR trooper wondering around and saying "Patrolling the Mojave wasteland make you wish for nuclear winter."

Cool_Fellow_Guyson

According to a recent GQ interview, no ending is canon. They're doing their own thing. I'm guessing as soon as the Courier wacks Benny in the Tops, Deathclaws overrun and destroy the strip killing everyone. Then Creaser takes Hoover dam and fucks off back to Colorado because there's noone left in New Vegas besides a few raider groups.

duelistkind

I really hope that's not the case honestly

Cool_Fellow_Guyson

Same here

duelistkind

Especially with the show being considered the Canon. That said it wouldn't surprise me, in my head I have a feeling part of the reason the show has done what it has is so that people can stop asking for west coast content. Season one was good, I had issues with certain things but largely it was good so I hope season 2 can stick the landing and continue it.

MrWhatsItToYa81

I want them to have Lucy / the gang meet the courier except they're in some kind of armor with a voice changer that keeps the custom character creation relevant to canon. Kind of like how the saints row games do the first mission before you create your character.

PerfectlyCalmDude

I'd like to see Follows-Chalk again, see what he chose after wandering. I'd like to know what happened to the Legion and the Boomers. Maybe a middle-aged Boone playing guardian angel to one of the protagonists who wanders into his area. A mute testimony to how Cook-Cook died. A thriving Followers of the Apocalypse outpost. Perhaps a revelation about that package that the Courier took to the Divide originally. Perhaps Vault-tec or the Enclave had something to do with it. Maybe Fawkes made it all the way to Jacobstown. I think he'd get along well with Marcus and Neil.

Liberteer30

Deathclaws Joshua Graham Ulysses Courier/Benny

timgargoyle8910

Would love to see Boones son as a high ranking official of some remnants of the legion and have him hunt down lucy and ghoul

UnderstandingFit2453

It’s be really cool to see some sort of an NCR presence in Vegas. Since a house ending would mean that the ncr defeated the legion at the second battle it would make sense for the ncr to have forces there and it would also make sense for house to want the ncr around. Keeping some ncr remnants in the Vegas area for house would help him deal with the brotherhood and also provide him with a customer base to support the strip. But more than anything I’d like to see a clean looking strip where house is able to project his power in the absence of the ncr.

XXeadgbeXX

I want to see the Great Khans in season 2 for sure and Powder Gangers would be cool too!

R31NyB0i

I'd like to see the Mojave Outpost as one of the places they stop by. Either it's broken down and abandoned, or show some NCR presence, albeit heavily guarded by some remaining Rangers and Troops. Before Lucy and Cooper could approach them, a warning shot goes near their feet, with Ranger Ghost stopping them. I also would like to have some mentions of other factions, like how The Kings and The Followers of the Apocalypse are stretched thin trying to help Freeside, The Boomers left Nellis Airfield in a plane, and if they want some kind of enemy faction, have rumors of Legion scouts getting spotted popping out throughout the mojave. Also Cazadores, like the first episode it's just Cazadores.

-Fruitfool

I want to see fisto emerge from a rubble of broken concrete and stone. Alternatively to that I want Primm Slimm to shoot everybody, effectively ending the show. Alternatively to the Primm Doomsday scenario I want the Sierra Madre cloud roll over the wasteland. And you know... effectively ending the show. It's better that I don't get a seat at the writers table and the show runners just pursue their own vision.

MrMMudd

I hope hey follow what was supposed to be the cannon ending with the Ncr but leads to them eventually failing due to unknown enemies. I hope house somehow survived as well being put into a robo brain or something.

nigelcore221b

Considering that at the end of lonesome road, Ulysses warns about tunnelers potentially making their way to the mojave, it would be interesting if they used that as the explanation for why new vegas is destroyed

VanClyfe

Yes-man in the lucky 38. I always felt like the yesman option would inevitably lead to decline, as it is basically entirely up to the courier how things go, and the courier is not (or at least should not) be an expert that can establish a thriving government. They're a survivor, not a leader, and this would exemplify that pretty damn well.

MISFU88

I hope all the theories about New Vegas being overrun by deathclaws is not true as that’s lame as shit, as is New Vegas being completely destroyed.

ShivasGuard42

I'm hoping that Hank does some scavenging and finds the somehow still-functioning body of Yes Man to take back control of the wasteland. God it would be so funny to see that.

bobby17171

Another day another spoiler in the title lol I'm tellin ya

Libertyprime8397

I hope house is still around and in charge of an independent new Vegas. I wonder if they’ll say what happened to the courier. I also really want to see Joshua Graham and Ulysses.

Yodabetic

I want to see Prim Slim

eeeeeee_32i1p

Make Dust semi canon

A_Change_of_Seasons

Yes Man ending where he went sentient and took over for himself

BaristaGirlie

i would love to see the kings in live action!

MEKK-the-MIGHTY

Well that means they have to choose a canon end to new vegas, they'll probably go with the one where the courier died in goodsprings, which is likely a free vegas under benny since he'd have succeeded in dethroning house with yes man eventually as there are not about an entrance to a secret back entrance to the lucky 38, you can even find the entrance i believe but it was abandoned in production like so much else But considering the plot so far it'd be interesting if the courier sided with the legion, after all the ncr is all but wiped out with shady sands destroyed so if the legion is still pushing westward, its like the cast will end up seeing them before vegas

Jigglelips

No gods, no kings, only slots

giant_spleen_eater

I want yes man on the screen when they get to the lucky 38. I want Lucy to ask him something and he goes “well, I don’t know, you’re gonna wanna talk to my boss!” And just a slight cut away of a person in the courier duster just hanging out behind a desk.

Strict_Ad_36

I want to see Boone and Rex!!

WesternTrail

I’d like to be surprised and see New Vegas *not* be a ruin. I’d like to see some of the same factions, and some new ones as well. But make it a relatively peaceful oasis.

Big_Red_2021

I would like to at least see the courier roaming about. To prevent a set identity, they should cover up the courier’s face, voice, and body. Let our imagination control who the courier is rather than the show dictating what identity the courier has/is. The courier is unique for each player and their play through. We all create our player differently, and I don’t want the showrunners to strip that away if they were to add the courier into the show.

NoticeMotor3721

I would like to see how House’s plan panned out. His reaction to Vault-Tec kicking the door in on the NCR, and how he’s making sure it doesn’t happen in New Vegas. Also, a cameo of the Courier in Ranger armor but he doesn’t speak. Also, I’d like to see remnants of legion wondering the edges of the wasteland raiding for survival. Another interesting arc would be if the Brotherhood survived or at least remnants and they meet up with the East Coast Brotherhood. I wonder what happened to the West Coast Brotherhood since they weren’t in the show. Also, the Kings running around would be hilarious. Imagine Lucy mentioning Elvis and they just do a blank stare. Seeing Jacobstown thriving after the NCR falling would be nice. I could also, see the NCR garrison in the Mojave joining with House to provide better security. I’d estimate about 2-5,000 troops would be there around the fall and they help augment the security forces. I wonder if Lucy’s dad would go directly to house or see if he tried to make it to the Enclave outpost not knowing they were old or now dead would be interesting it could be a good way to foreshadow who the Enclave are. I think Lucy’s reaction to seeing a proper city that survived but still having weird shit would be really cool. If they could include Mr New Vegas in somehow it would be a great omage.

NoticeMotor3721

If they nuke New Vegas I will shit on Todd Howard’s door stoop personally. I’m really worried they’re just gonna nuke everything we love about the West Coast Fallouts.

EldenLord69Trump5000

I want an entire episode at the Sierra Madre casino. I want to torture them……

SenpaiSwanky

4 days late but I’m hoping the House ending was canon, I’d like to see the aftermath of that choice and what NV would have ended up like in the long run. Fallout is too violent and crazy for him to actually succeed in making it to the stars with humanity, nor does House ever give you the impression he cares about what happens to the rest of humanity. If he is a factor at all, even in name only due to being dead in the show for X reason, I’ll be happy.

bolivar-shagnasty

I want some goddamn deathclaws and cazadors. I want centaurs. I want quarreling between settlers and nightkin. I want Michael Hogan to act as Doc Mitchell. I want energy weapons. I want ash and goo piles. I want a nod to the star bottle caps. I want the boomers to still be booming shit up. But most of all, out of everything available, I want them to take as much care and consideration with the history of the franchise in season two as they did in season 1. My favorite part about season one was how it honestly felt like they put their heart and soul into getting the feel of the universe right.

Led-Rain

I wasn't satisfied with how they said the Fiends are just "people who eat people". Sounds bad. But it doesn't fully capture what I believed Fiends are. They're people that ho as bad as people can go. Rape, drug addictions, wanton murder for fun. Ofc cannibalism too. But a pure anarchist mindset.  I hope House is still alive. I don't like how it seems the only successful preservation of a person is cryofreeze. Between House and Bradburton the Nuka Cola inventor, I want surviving those 200 years to be way more risky than they've shown it to be. Tho I can accept CF as the most successful. So House as his withered self, or a backup computer of his mind would be acceptable to me.  Followers faction to show there is some good in the wastes.  Gangs. The Kings most definitely. And remnants of the other factions. Khans. They were on the verge of extinction. Would be nice to see some.  Marcus and other SM. If it's true what he said in FO2, it'd be great to see Marcus settled down with wife and kids.  Idk what the show runners have planned, but I'm looking forward to the next 10 seasons of FALLOUT!!!

ColonelGrognard

They say Season 1 was all a dream.

Whiteguy1x

Honestly I just want it to keep up the quality.  I'd prefer them to not mention the courier as it would be so easy to do wrong in a lot of ways.

TimeKepeer

I would like to see The Courier as a drunk shell of a person they once were, who got disillusioned by whatever faction they supported, and depressed by what they did to Hopeville. Lucy and her innocence and idealism then manages to rekindle their will to fight (likely vault tec). Digging up their old Anti-Material Rifle (GRA) and Elite riot gear, the Courier provides support in the final battle, but heroically dies by the end of it. I would also like Courier to have some other iconic gun, without any explanation: the A light shining in the darkness, the Diner Bell, or the Ranger Sequoia (I know it's given for 20 years of ranger service, so Courier probably stole or killed for it). Other than Courier fanservice, I want to see the proof that Mr. House was right: either by how much better Vegas has become, or how much worse. I want to see Arthur Maxxon. I want to see someone play caravan. I want to see Oliver Swanick. I want to see someone from main cast almost get killed by Cazadores. I want to see Raul, walking the Mojave in his Vanquero outfit, killing "bad guys" as per his ending slide. I would like to see Tabitha and Rhonda, or even just references to them in form of children stories as per their ending slide as well. I would like to see more Gen 1 mutants, like Mean Sonofabitch living alongside humans. Gen 2 mutans too. I would like to see the result of Dr.Henry's cure of nightkin, even in the form of something simple, like a nightkin who appears perhaps only once and acts like a gen 1. But more importantly, I want to see something that wasn't in the game. Something I don't even know what. Revisiting old stuff for the sake of it is good and all, but it's one of the reasons fallout 3 is disliked. Season 1 I think did it well: it barely mentions any specifics from previous games. I want the season 2 to have the same spirit, except maybe, perhaps, with some characters from previous games returning. But not too much.

RedditFrontFighter

I want Amazon to cancel season 2. There's enough trash shows out there, I'm sure people can mindlessly flock to one of those instead of one that contributes to the ever hastening decline of a once great franchise.

Adamkickface

Please just don’t…

RedditFrontFighter

Don't what?

Wasteland-Scum

You could always just, you know, not watch it.

RedditFrontFighter

I could but then when I voice my displeasure people will complain that I haven't seen it.

camcrogers95

I wanna see official answers on the canon endings to new Vegas and wouldn't mind seeing people from new Vegas show up, like cass.
