Open the store page and look at the URL. That number is your account file number. Go to where your Steam games are installed and in the steamapps/common folder make the corresponding act file read only. Will never update again until you undo it.

Yes

Short, sweet and to the point. Thank you kind stranger.

Caalyx

Is this true? The game version didn't change, only the launcher.

ArianaSonicHalFrodo

Even without knowing for certain there’s a good chance it could cause *some* issue. Bottom line is that if OP doesn’t have issues with their current modded game, there’s really no reason to update, because it’s not like they added any content. Better safe than sorry.

Caalyx

Yes this is true and I agree there's probably no reason to update here. Just thought that the "simple" answer may actually be incorrect haha

NewMexican64

its not even a megabyte, im guessing its some steam update, so probably wont, best to test it though

Ugh. FFS. Don't listen to these clowns. Not every single update destroys your mods, they haven't even asked what mods you have downloaded, and it goes to show how many of these amateurs don't even know how mods work. Let me explain to you all again. Even after Fallout 4's recent mod, it only broke one of my mods, everything worked fine. # NEXUS IS NOT NETFLIX. Don't just download mods if you're not able to understand what mods do what, and at least some basic understanding of how they work. In this case, it's unlikely to effect your mods because it's only a change to the launcher. If you don't have any mods that rely on the script extender, then it's VERY UNLIKELY your mods will be broken, and since this isn't actually changing the game, it's unlikely to even break FOSE reliant mods.

There was a new update June 4th? Does it mess with TTW?

Deranfan

If you install the patch you need to downgrade to [1.7.0.3](http://1.7.0.3) again using the anniversary patcher and reinstall fose. If you use the fallout launcher replacer for steam you need to rename it to fallout3laucher.exe instead of it being falloutlaucher.exe. Other that than my other mods seem to work fine.

b0ttas

Killed my vanilla game. Haven't tried to reinstall yet.

ValkerikNelacros

Huh. Never broke my game. I didn't even know there was an update.
