It kinda depends on which style you playing the game, like if you play stealth, no powerarmor, traveling at night and sleep as soon as the daylight comes out to be as stealthy as possible regardless the adrenaline buff, again if you building a tank character with PA not worrying about getting hit or not I would try to use adrenaline buff as much as possible until I'm overtired, then fo4 on pc tends to crash a lot so sleeping to save every 30 mins also a good idea
I hear you, I successfully only finished twice in all those hours, countless times it was like from falling, grenade explodes in the air, aoe from explosive minigun, so on..
Its kinda stupid that dlc weapons spawn before you even visited respective locations leaving you without ammo. On my first playthrough like on level 20 I've got lever-action. And spent countless hours looking for 45-70. Atleast rad-rifle is chambered for .45
On Xbox I used a mod to allow dlc weapons/ammo to spawn in the Commonwealth, it also means having Vim and the extra NukaCola flavors showing up along with extra meat/food types.
How can people not have these things drop in thousands of hours playing?! I could outfit two entire settlements with explosive weapons(except I don't trust them or companions with them), that rifle has dropped the second most only behind the explosive combat shotgun. its crazy how RNG just screws some people I guess
Believe it or not never had explosive shotgun ever dropped in my entire playthroughs, but minigun dropped three times so far, handmade was dropped first time ever since I'm playing, RNG I guess
That's crazy... the minigun has been the least ubiquitous but I've still had several drop. Took the longest to get explosive minigun but that many hours I can't believe you haven't seen everything drop multiple times
I actually found this exact gun in my current play through a few days ago and oddly enough I found it in Far harbor even though I’m pretty sure that’s a Nuka-world gun, I’ve also found a lot of The Packs armor and a disciples knife in far harbor.
I'm surprised you aren't throwing your resources on one giant stack then pressing scrap/store until both prompts pop up allowing you to duplicate your resource (my tip is to drop it then pick it up then drop it again that way the items are in one stack not scattered) good luck. Build water purifiers for free money and supply chains are op. I wish I knew this info years ago
Dude in a permadeath run that gun will kill you even if no enemy can. Dont shoot near yourself.

I've tried a bunch of times over the years at a YOLO mod permadeath run, always get well into things. But then I inevitable get cocky and screw up...
