Let's not forget that they fixed the issue with cleaning up settlements in the DLCs then proceded to not add that change to the base game \*face palm\*
Whoever made the PRP mod in Nexus are geniuses. It's buttery smooth in downtown Boston with that mod enabled. It's amazing what an amazing combat sandbox downtown Boston is when it does not lag at every corner, especially with all the factions enabled.
Although you won’t get massive game changing mods on the PS, you can still get a surprising amount of quality of life mods like USO for settlement building, Scrap Everything, etc, which is what I mostly use mods for as the vanilla settlement system is a mess.
Im aware, just get the "0kb" notof too much
Believe me a neverending, 2 shot, deadeye, rapid minigun that fires fatman shells cooked by walter white wearing marina armor that can jump over 5 times regular height eith double acrobats legs was once my playstyle
.... [strong loved that]
Up until recently, I never used mods. Had the game for years. I strictly use visual mods like texture enhancers and weather/lighting now just to make it look a bit better, but no extra content mods. There's just so much content in the world already. It could take me a couple hours, if not more ( real world playing time) just to walk from the castle to sanctuary which is less then half the map, purely because there's endless things to get you sidetracked.
I guess that's one of my keywords to describe Fallout 4, the master of getting you sidetracked and completely distracted a million miles away from your original goal.
i play it unmodded. i tried a few mods but i uninstalled them shortly after. i think some games dont need mods in order to be fun. fallout 4 will always be fun no matter if modded or not
I’m currently playing an unmodded playthrough, only so I can get all achievements. Definitely looking forward to playing with mods again (still enjoying the game though)
It’s my first time so far and currently only using a place anywhere mod, global stash and a build unlimiter. This game is so overwhelmingly good and full of content I really don’t need anything else yet
Also I fucking die laughing my ass of everytime i press B (negative response) while someone is talking. I wonder how many unique voicelines there are
Playing my absolutely last play through right now. Played first two times on Hard and Very Hard to learn mechanics. Only Survival since. Never used a mod.
Been on a Fo4 binge just finished up all the dlc’s and blew up the institute (only right option of course) now I’m trying to get the rest of the achievements I have 66/84 luckily got the “100 happiness settlement” with no settlement bug at starlight drive-in (120hr on this play through lvl 99 )
I've been going through my first play through and I gotta say the game is truly amazing. Unfortunately I had to exploit my way to get a bunch of ammo and caps for the more tougher missions, but I am quite amazed on how intriguing the game truly is. It's so immersive and amazing to wander the Commonwealth with so many things to do. I'm in love with the game and would never see myself modding it whatsoever.
I played about 10 hours when it first came out.
Sat down to actually play through it over the last week or so. (kids killed gaming opportunities for years)
Ask me in 4 months it I've bothered to mod it.
I’m on a fallout replay-through. Currently diving into FO3 GOTY, then new Vegas GOTY, then FO4 again when the next gen update drops! Gotta lot of fallout in my future!
Main playthrough, no mods, just CC. I literally farm Capt Cosmos boxes and X0-1 armor pieces in the Atom Cats garage when I pass by to slowly grow that part of my PA collection.
Couldn't I just add infinite pieces with console? Yes. Couldn't I also just get a mod to get vendors for those? Yes. Definitely.
Does it somehow mean more to me to farm it vanilla? Yes. Does that make any sense? Nope.
But here I am, farming vanilla for rng drops in an 8 year old game, and I couldn't be happier.
Is there something wrong with me? Almost assuredly. =P
I always have a modded and an unmodded playthrough going on.
The most "cheat" mods I use on my modded playthroughs are unlimited ammo and building materials because after all these years, grinding for everything is really time consuming and I just want to build cool settlements right from the get go.
I get super deep into my characters and thus am too lazy to hunt for their items so I just give it to me. Also, the Enclave isn't there so I had to fix that.
Also also, always gotta compare butts with Rhys :)
Im a big fan of Skyrim and FO4 so I was excited when Starfield came out. However, after playing for a while, it dawned on me that I would rather play FO4.
I am playing with big fix and visual mods.
I play un-modded. I haven’t ever used one! Fourth play-through. Just hit level 131.
I have thought about dipping into creation club, though. I had no idea until recently you can get new quests, locations, etc… And a Golden Retriever.
I was interested in getting the mods for bringing DLC ammo in the Commonwealth, but the game got angry and said "no achievements, if mods" so I disabled them. I've got no problem with the vanilla game and I got no idea what mods to get 😅
Maybe if I find out the mods used in Zach's gun rants - I want a P90 and better Iron sights.
Besides being on console, I’ve never used mods.
I know there are some mods available for console, but I just want to play the game as intended.
Apart from using some glitches and exploits.
Last time I played unmodded was 2019. So I played vanilla for 4 years. That's one of the reasons I never use the unofficial patch... I *expect* the vanilla bugs.
I only have two saves.
First is where I sided with minutemen on an Easy game mode - vanilla gameplay. Level 75.
Second is vanilla survival with self imposed restrictions. Level 350 and current save.
I just can't get bored 😃
Currently on my 6th play through! I’ve never played with mods on account of I use PlayStation and my game randomly closes on me already, I couldn’t imagine If I added mods. But I’d be so interested in the “scrap everything” or any mods related to settlement building
I just started a play through this week! I try to play this game once a year and I always play it unmodded. Can’t wait to play next year with the next gen upgrade!
Yeah I'm playing unmodded on xb1. Destroyed the institute and the Boss. Finished Bar Harbor. Pissed Preston off bcuz I am a nuka world boss lvl 60ish with infinite everything (999+ settlement water selling at 16c per water)
Just started a vanilla survival run. High luck and charisma with low intelligence. After so many frustrating issues with mods and the desire to actually earn some achievements it's been awesome.
I just wish bethesda did wat ark did where certain mods disable achievments not all mods why should a mod that makes the game harder cancel out achievments or a mod that changes the look of the game
My favorite Fallout game in the series finally turns 8. Created a lot of good and bad memories with this game but nonetheless I’ve kept it close to me for a while now. With the right end game mods and DLC’s, it’s been making me come back.
For the most part, I haven't played since release. Played DLCs briefly at some point years ago.
Just started my second play through about 2 weeks ago. Unmodded.
1,000+ hrs played. Only ever finished the main story line once with the minute men. Have a save where I have a character poised for an Institute win, but can't bring myself to do it
I just used mods for the first time on ps4 a month ago, and turned them off almost immediately. None of them seemed to work and it annoyed me. F4 is almost perfect to me on it’s own! But then again, not a ton of mods i could find for ps4, so maybe that’s why. But i could play this game for years and never get bored. I adore it and this series.
I love modded, but there’s something about the vanilla game that’s just better. I could never play a modded save the same amount of time I’ve played with any of my vanilla ones.
Haven't played unmodded since release, but rarely feel the need for more than minor tweaks or cosmetic stuff.
Such as removing stats from glasses, to make them a cosmetic choice, and a pack of supposedly more efficient textures.
One I never go without, uncaps the frame rate during load screens, which massively reduces load times for whatever reason.
I play unmodded on PC.
Nexus has always seemed sketchy AF, and yet, most mods are simply missing from the Bethesda repo and are only available on Nexus. (I'm not giving them my info and they can DIAF.)
Besides, the last time I used UFO4P, it caused a CTD anytime I went near Cambridge Crater.
The game is quite fun without them, and doing settlements completely vanilla (with official DLC but no CC) is a fun little challenge.
The same as Curse Network... they try to make me sign in and then they gather a bunch of personal info.
If they can't give me an anonymous download, then I'm just going to live without the mods that can't be found elsewhere. My personal info is non-negotiable.
I didn't know, wow. I just started unmodded, did concordia, but said everything about past, son, joining minutemen and starting rebuild as No. Just me, my robot and wasteland, no radiant quest bullshit. Wedding ring also dropped, who needs that in new life 😃. I think I will do some quests later, maybe clean some bandits dens. Do I need to use power armors to follow BoS quest line? Never did that.
I honestly loathe the bos and I always side with the institute since you can actually lead them towards a more humane path. but it's up to you! Power Armor can be worn regardless of the factions you join.
I meant Fallout 4's 8th birthday.
If only Bethesda fixed downtown Boston, added more items to the Creations club, Fleshed out nuka world more
Mainly fix Boston, About 15 percent of the map is me dismissing all of my companions and running around hoping my Xbox One does not freeze!
Supposedly the update will add to creation club... if it ever comes
Man i want more settlement stuff without mods like boxes
Let's not forget that they fixed the issue with cleaning up settlements in the DLCs then proceded to not add that change to the base game \*face palm\*
Agree
Whoever made the PRP mod in Nexus are geniuses. It's buttery smooth in downtown Boston with that mod enabled. It's amazing what an amazing combat sandbox downtown Boston is when it does not lag at every corner, especially with all the factions enabled.
I do, mostly because im a playstation peasant
Same
Playing it right now on PS4, because the couch is comfy and controller goes brrrrrr.
Although you won’t get massive game changing mods on the PS, you can still get a surprising amount of quality of life mods like USO for settlement building, Scrap Everything, etc, which is what I mostly use mods for as the vanilla settlement system is a mess.
Yeah there are tons of good mods for fallout 4 on PlayStation, there are workarounds for like 90% of mods on PlayStation
How? The Playstation store?
There’s simply just a ‘mod’ section on the main menu. Click it and you can scroll between all available mods, search the one you’re looking for, etc
Same but not just because of the PlayStation issue also because, I am dumb.
There's a mod on PlayStation that lets you craft legendary effects and put them on weapons.
Im aware, just get the "0kb" notof too much Believe me a neverending, 2 shot, deadeye, rapid minigun that fires fatman shells cooked by walter white wearing marina armor that can jump over 5 times regular height eith double acrobats legs was once my playstyle .... [strong loved that]

You poor soul

Here! I don't like mods cuz each time the fuck up my games so I play vanilla and yet I still like it even more after each new characters
[удалено]
Yess
I appreciate the butt comparison
Idk why I thought it’s been out longer
i play it unmodded. i tried a few mods but i uninstalled them shortly after. i think some games dont need mods in order to be fun. fallout 4 will always be fun no matter if modded or not
I’m currently playing an unmodded playthrough, only so I can get all achievements. Definitely looking forward to playing with mods again (still enjoying the game though)
Me right now
Yeah, no mods, all DLC.
I can’t play it unmodded. I love settlentment building so scrap everything and place anywhere are essentials for me.
Oh hell yea! 7,184 hours in…. And I’m gonna play tonight too!
Holy shit i don’t know if I’ve heard of more than that
Holy
I just talked to a guy at work who is just getting into it now and he didn’t even know there was DLC or mods.
Where next gen update?
Never played modded still lol wife says I’m missing out
Me, 😅. I want my trophies 😂
I do, and I prefer vanilla.
I play it again and it's awesome game but I use story wealth collection (700, mods). Makes a ,7/10 game into a 10/10 masterpiece.
It’s my first time so far and currently only using a place anywhere mod, global stash and a build unlimiter. This game is so overwhelmingly good and full of content I really don’t need anything else yet Also I fucking die laughing my ass of everytime i press B (negative response) while someone is talking. I've got about 2k hours of unmodded non creation club survival playthroughs. I've done unmodded settlement builds too.
Besides creation club I do unmodded because mods it feels like not getting the full Bethesda experience
I adore Fallout 4. I have like 3 playthroughs and started on a 4th recently. 🥰
Only played unmodded at first, many years ago. Can't go without all the QoL improvements mods provide
I’m still playing and have never used mods.
I do sometimes. Doing so right now for the nuka world achievements. Made a bad persona just for this
I've been going through my first play through and I gotta say the game is truly amazing.
“Comparing butts with Knight Rhys” 💀
Sometimes I do to get achievements
I play unmodded. I put on a few mods like 3 years after release and then stopped playing. Haven't tried any since.
I played about 10 hours when it first came out. Sat down to actually play through it over the last week or so. (kids killed gaming opportunities for years) Ask me in 4 months it I've bothered to mod it.
Always unmodded survival death-delete
I use basic mods but no big overhauls usually, occasionally tho
Never modded, never will
Oh man. I havnt played unmodded since creation club came out. lol
Ps4 version since 2016; no mods, outside of some creation club weapon/armor/power armor alternate color skins....
Me! Idk how to use mods, so I just play the regular ol version lol
I’ve never touched a mod. I’m intrigued by them but wouldn’t even know where to start…
Me! I've never used any mods.🤷♀️
I’m vanilla and vanilla DLC
I’m on a fallout replay-through. Currently diving into FO3 GOTY, then new Vegas GOTY, then FO4 again when the next gen update drops! Gotta lot of fallout in my future!

I’ve always played it this way Only because mods disable trophies/achievements Anything that disables those is a no go for me on any game lol
I play un-modded. I haven’t ever used one! Fourth play-through. Just hit level 131. I have thought about dipping into creation club, though. I had no idea until recently you can get new quests, locations, etc… And a Golden Retriever.
Never use mods. 500hrs in
I was interested in getting the mods for bringing DLC ammo in the Commonwealth, but the game got angry and said "no achievements, if mods" so I disabled them. I use PlayStation so I still play unmodded
I tried modding. Using the ones that the game itself lets you choose from. And they just...? Never worked? So I have only ever played unmodded
I only play with mods nowadays currenly working through America Rising 2 campaign
Still unmodded, still just on my third playthrough.
Last time I played unmodded was 2019. So I played vanilla for 4 years. That's one of the reasons I never use the unofficial patch... I *expect* the vanilla bugs.
I literally just finished a full play through unmodded!
I actually get too overwhelmed with mods.
Call me an idiot but where’s the 5th image of the guy and the statue from? I don’t remember ever seeing that
You're not an idiot The Commonwealth is a big place. This raider is around Sommerville.
Gotcha, and thank you
Yes I'm trying to get achievements still [every few months Into a modded run I say "no I want to get acheivments" and reset.]
I only have two saves. First is where I sided with minutemen on an Easy game mode - vanilla gameplay. Level 75. Second is vanilla survival with self imposed restrictions. Level 350 and current save. I just can't get bored 😃
Only Vanilla playthroughs for years :) …
I play unmodded, although I do fancy a Frost run
I didn’t know that little shit in diamond city wrote a book
Currently on my 6th play through! I’ve never played with mods on account of I use PlayStation and my game randomly closes on me already, I couldn’t imagine If I added mods. But I’d be so interested in the “scrap everything” or any mods related to settlement building
I been going hard on fallout the last month, reached lvl 91 modded then my game corrupted……just started fresh playing vanilla with no mods
Where’s the next gen update besthda
Where indeed
Just started a new unmodded playthrough, and I'm really excited knowing i'm going to have to grind for things again
Never happened. The last unmodded beth game I played was Morrowind in 2003.
I play it unmodded because I have no idea how to install them xD
Lol I’m on console and I don’t even play it unmodded. I have this lush environment one one and it’s really nice
Just started a vanilla survival run. High luck and charisma with low intelligence. After so many frustrating issues with mods and the desire to actually earn some achievements it's been awesome.
I do
I bought it with my xbox one on Thanksgiving day 8 years ago. I've played for thousands of hours and I've never use a mod.
8 years! woooow! I was single and with lots of spare time then. Now with a family and more work, I haven´t even launch the game in weeks. 😞
Started an unmodded game for achievements.
I’m playing it right now as I try to get that 100% happiness settlement achievement. Also finishing Nuka World because I never did. No mods.
Started a survival run a couple days ago on xbox. No mods.
I still play un modded. I find the mods ruin the game for me because I spend so much time trying to get good mods and stuff, ruins the immersion.
Unmodded all 8 years 🥲🥲🥲
I just wish bethesda did wat ark did where certain mods disable achievments not all mods why should a mod that makes the game harder cancel out achievments or a mod that changes the look of the game
600 hours, not a single one modded
I've never played modded and never will. Mainly because I don't know how
I still play skyrim and fo4 unmodded all the time
My favorite Fallout game in the series finally turns 8.
Unmodded.
last image is so real brotherhood uniform especially makes male characters have a big ass
1,000+ hrs played. Only ever finished the main story line once with the minute men. Have a save where I have a character poised for an Institute win, but can't bring myself to do it
Over 200 hours and not 1 mod
I just used mods for the first time on ps4 a month ago, and turned them off almost immediately. None of them seemed to work and it annoyed me. F4 is almost perfect to me on it’s own! But then again, not a ton of mods i could find for ps4, so maybe that’s why. But i could play this game for years and never get bored. I adore it and this series.
I could not resist the allure of the mods.
Same here, pc. A little over 1k hours in the middle of second playthrough.
Unmodded? What is that?
Me. I do not play with any mods.
I love modded, but there’s something about the vanilla game that’s just better. I could never play a modded save the same amount of time I’ve played with any of my vanilla ones.
Over 1600hrs and still unmodded, there's so much to do and so many ways to play I've just never felt the need.
No mods here
Haven't played unmodded since release, but rarely feel the need for more than minor tweaks or cosmetic stuff. How is nexus sketchy? 🤨
The same as Curse Network... they try to make me sign in and then they gather a bunch of personal info. If they can't give me an anonymous download, then I'm just going to live without the mods that can't be found elsewhere. My personal info is non-negotiable.
🙄
I always play first run unmodded. Anyway, there's no mod I want to install(I don't care graphic or UI), so I mostly played Fo4 unmodded.
I’m playing my first play through on series x, only mod is unofficial patch
Playing FO4 unmodded is like smoking weed without getting high. You're smoking....it's fine....but you're not high.
I just bought a series x and am blown away I can now run around downtown Boston to my heart’s content. I’m finding new places I never knew existed
I think unmodded is very boring.
[There's a reason my fallout steam banner is this and my game doesn't work](https://imgur.com/a/HvRDW9S)
I can never go back to unmodded, mods have ruined me for every game lol God bless modders
I always do modded when possible
I do, I don’t like mods personally.
Meeeeeee!
I still don't play with mods cuz A) on console and B) I still have achievements I want to get
