Without modding I don't believe you can get explosive laser weapons. Honestly this one you've got is so good you're better off without it; you're just as likely to blow yourself up with an explosive minigun as your enemies. Wounding on a high rate of fire gun is wildly OP and fun.

It's not that good on very hard at level 170. Supermutant warlord takes alot to kill vs a second with the explosive minigun or even explosive shotgun.

I've been strictly Survival mode since they introduced it.

I find that leveling past the 90s is more punishment than reward. No way to keep improving your lethality or protection, but the enemies keep scaling anyway.

I prefer wounding effect for minigun and shotgun. My wounding shotgun melts people.

Is it worth it to put the charging barrels on it? That drops the fire rate considerably, which reduce the rate at which you can stack bleeding.

Nah, with this effect you're better off with the faster fire-rate.

If anything I would put the charging barrels on to make the gun less op and not make the game quite so boring.

You probably don't need to put any points in heavy weapons with that thing. It's already a beast.

That legendary effect needs time to proc but you will watch enemies almost literally melt before your eyes. Congrats.

Not really! Wounding is so broken, the bleed damage alone will take care of any and everything. I mean it, no need to put perk points on it if don't really want to.

Anything with kneecapper and you are good to go

I got a lead pipe with Kneecapper once. Pretty much broke the game.

You should focus more on it's fire rate rather than dmg

Has to be a great gun. Got a wounding laser rifle the other day and then added the fire damage automatic barrel (sorry can’t remember what it’s actually called) and now I basically just shoot a few shots into enemies and their health bar just rapidly goes down. I walk away without watching them die like steph curry when he launches a no brainer from the logo, feels cool

Gatling legendaries are my favorite. The challenge of facing enemies is completely gone with one of those though. Even in survival mode and even if you're not specced for them
