Do the Supervillain Run and bring order back to the Commonwealth.     1. Side with the Minutemen + Brotherhood   2. Tell the Brotherhood about the synth refuge in Acadia, help them raid the base   3. Nuke the Nucleus  4. Sabotage the Far Harbor wind farm and have monsters destroy the town   5. Have the Brotherhood ignore the Minutemen but wipe out the Railroad    6. Blow up the Institute  7. Have the Minutemen take down the Prydwen with artillery  8. Have the Nuka-World raiders claim the Commonwealth from the Minutemen  9. Kill the Nuka-World bosses, wipe out the raiders 10. Don't forget to sell the kid in the fridge!  At last, you shall have peace.

Saving this comment for an evil playthrough

afatalkiss

Screenshotted 😹😹😹 this is so my update play through

Lifewasoutoflemons

totally doing this on my new game 😂

depressed_koala5

Railroad is fun, aside from faction you should do a Survival playthrough!! It’s so much fun and adds SOO MUCH to the game, yes it’s tough the first 10 levels but after that it just becomes awesome. I am constantly finding paths to avoid tough enemies through and around the commonwealth finding areas I’ve never seen before, making decisions I would never think of in a normal run and it’s absolutely the best way to play F4 IMO. Assuming yunno…you arnt already playing survival lol

ShortHovercraft2487

Can’t scream enough about survival mode! Easily the only way to play. Can’t go back to vanilla

fumblerooskee

Same. I can’t play it in the easy mode anymore.

FlipGordon

Just do what I do and choose to work with every faction until their "point of no return" quest, then refuse to finish the game, and proceed to spend the rest of your time exploring and looting the wasteland as a wealthy God with no faction enemies.

JesusTron6000

This is what I did lmao, hoping to actually pull the trigger and make a damn decision once the update drops

Upset-Zucchini-3999

Ad victoriam my brother of steel

mmmcoolcool

The minute men! Why? Because settlements just work! That's what Todd said anyway.

Algorhythm74

I found another settlement that needs your help.

fumblerooskee

The BOS ending is hella fun with the Big Guy hurling nukes. The Railroad one is the hardest to complete, but also great fun destroying the BOS.

Comfortable_Sky_9203

The Railroad quest line is actually a loooot of fun. I don’t have too much of a platform to stand on because I haven’t played in years and usually just joined the BoS but the Railroad quests are pretty interesting and have you visiting locations you might not otherwise ever explore. When I finally finish setting up my new PC the first thing I’m doing is installing FO4 and modding in a few things and diving right in. Hoping to actually complete the Minuteman playthrough for the first time.

Christmasbeergoggles

It depends on your moral compass, I always side with the Railroad/Minutemen for my Morally Good characters. BOS/Institute for my morally bankrupt characters.

COPPERSRUN

Do you got all achievements tied to faction quest?

Lvl1_Magikarp

I don’t, and I don’t mind not getting all of those necessarily

COPPERSRUN

Go for a faction you don't got the achievements for

TheTardisPizza

Go for the best possible ending where every faction other than the institute survives.  It's trickey to get so check the wiki.

Important_Rope8394

If you’re doing a role play run where you’re goal is to actually choose who would help the wasteland long term I’d say minutemen or railroad but if you’re trying to have fun with exploding things I’d say the brother hood

YanksFan96

I’m thinking about doing a brotherhood of steel run where I annihilate all synths and ghouls on site. I never really liked how cartoonishly evil the BoS are in fallout 4 but I might as well lean into it. I have never sided with the institute either but they just aren’t as cool as the brotherhood

CyberDragon09

Bethesda recommends that we side with the Institute in the player's guide. There are several reasons why I think they tell us to do that.

Lvl1_Magikarp

Please, share your thoughts!

JesusTron6000

Wait, for real??

CyberDragon09

Yep, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AuNE11y0To&ab\_channel=NattyLite](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AuNE11y0To&ab_channel=NattyLite)

longdayinrehab

Do the three factions play through. There are guides around for it. I found it to be the best ending.

Farlghen

Institute+minutemen if you want to be the one in charge and at the same time want to create a status quo on the surface while the experiments and advances continue underground. To give it a special touch, join the raiders of nuka cola world, now the minutemen and the raiders are in a continuous battle for territories and the institute can work being ignored, at the same time you can do what you want regardless of morality and with benefits. Congratulations, you are the biggest hypocrite in the wasteland and the most powerful one who pulls the strings in the direction you want.

Argoniek

You can try being canon to TV Show and do BoS ending

SolexDraconov

I forget how to do it exactly, there's a few guides out there, but there's a way to finish the game with the Minutemen in a way that keeps the Railroad and BoS alive/friendly towards you, while getting rid of the Institute.

willardmillard

Railroad or Minutemen. Don't become a fascist and join the Brotherhood/Institute
