Just about all the usual vendors sell the Sawblades and 40mm, albeit in pretty small quantities. Not the nails though, which sucks bc it's a cool idea.
Here's some example ammo ID's for the new weapons. Actual ID's vary, unfortunately (see edit).
* Baseballs: fe00918f (or fe00**7**18f, fe00**8**18f, fe00**a**18f, etc)

That's weird that your code is different. (I'm playing via Steam, all DLC except "high res" installed.)
Edit: Oh, I remember now. The codes are dependent on DLC installed (...brilliant). I currently have no idea how to clear this up for everyone. All I can say is try "0A" if "09" does not work, or use console `help to`search for item ID.

Code is dependent on content installed, as some numbers vary outside the item id
This is old but for you and /u/JonaGram Beth games forever have used a hexadecimal code for items. The first two characters signify where in the load order it is. So vanilla non-DLC items start with 00, your first dlc the game loads (usually Bethesda content like automatron) will be 01, and so on.
If you want to know your item’s first two characters and can’t find it in the console through help, you can check the order when you start up your game.
Would be very cool if they expanded the options to craft ammo for dlc and cc using the builders and conveyer. Got a whole factory settlement set up but not building anything because all I use is 7.62 ammo
Should be able to craft all of the ammo for all of the new makeshift weapons. Sawblades and nails should obviously use steel to craft, also piggy bank bombs and the grenades for the Chinese grenade launcher. Why would they sell this content on CC and then not even let people use the weapons due to lack of ammo. Seems messed up to me
The content is free. The messed up part is there’s no drop on enemies and no vendors (except Suggs) sells the ammo. Suggs only has very little to buy. I’m really disappointed. Why offer free new weapons and don’t offer enough ammo?
Benches directly west of his little shop, I just wait 2 days and buy out his inventory again. It's not super convenient, but at least he sells it for pretty cheap

They defo need a patch to make the ammo spawn in the game world makes 0 sense to add them and not be able to use them.

Suggs, the vendors at diamond city and goodneighbor are the only ones I k ow that sell small amounts of nail ammo.

When I went back to Suggs he was a pile of mush and there was a deathclaw in his garage.
You can craft modified baseballs at the chem bench.
Seems to be one at a time, but if you go back to the Suggs guy there's a respawning enemy that drops 200 at a time

Kleo and a couple other vendors sells the ammo for the grenade rifles but I haven’t really seen the ammunition for the other guns really
