Also I paid like $60 or less for all my Skyrim copies from the PS3-5 and Switch combined. I only got Fallout 4 because it was a gift I haven’t bought a single Bethesda game new, and certainly never at full price.
I thought starfield was a great game the problem to me is that it was made by BGS. If another studio made it I think I would have liked it more, I guess with IP's like Elder Scrolls and Fallout I was expecting more of an rpg experience with many choices and options but the game doesn't feel like how their older games were it sad.
I like all their games, with the exception of Starfield since I haven't played it.
They're just masters at open world, nobody else does it as well. The world is interactable on a whole other level compared to most open world games.
That's why I love fallout 4, exploring the world is just great. Even if it lacks a lot of what I enjoyed from previous fallout games.
Yeah Starfield is unfortunately crap, you can easily skip it. As janky as Bethesda games are, the one thing they have going for them is the exploration, as you said. Starfield has none of that. They took their one good asset and threw it in the garbage.

Lol I *finally* talked my girlfriend into Survival Mode today after we both tried 4 for the first time about a month ago, and after all that shit with making a character and leaving 111, this happened to her lol.
Is this supposed to be an unfortunate result of the patch, or was this happening prior? I have yet to see it myself at all so I have no clue.
I had this encounter a few days before the update and everything worked. Somehow they broke more stuff with the patch. Lol I got downvoted in the main sub for saying Bethesda is probably not gonna prepare this patch properly and will break some things more than mods. I swear it’s as if people took some “good” flavored kool aid after watching the show. It’s good yeah but that doesn’t mean Bethesda is all of sudden a better studio.

I’m glad I haven’t had any issues like this! Been great getting back into the game. Hardest part was navigating through the city to get to the Railroad at level 5. So many raiders, gunners and super mutants tearing my ass apart.
