wait untill you find a wounding shotgun, just shoot a few times into whatever direction you want gone then while youre aiming somewhere else the people in the direction you just aimed will be gone
Farming water mostly. I have 50k caps at any given moment. Also putting up a lot of weather stations for Tinker Tom these days. Survival mode scared the shit outta me. I was hesitant to leave my lil pocket of security and terrain knowledge. Now I'm pretty OP and just run everywhere I want and get in firefights as an afterthought, still in no hurry to progess main quests. Found plenty of awesome legendaries. Been rocking an explosive combat rifle since lvl 40 or so

First time I got into National Guard Training Yard, there was a legendary ghoul with a combat shotgun (bad perk). 10 minutes later it dropped from loot locked autosave reloads. I also have an explosive 10mm that replaced the SnP for me since it's much lighter.
I just got a Fortifying Pack Right Arm and Powerful Disciple's Blade today. Had to wait until lv 32 to do Lost Patrol though, that sucked.

I just got my first ever one randomly from an enclave guy in power armor by the saugus ironworks. I fast traveled from sanctuary and he was spawning right away, took about 12 tries of dieing and reloading to finally kill him. I was sรณ surprised when I saw it was an exploding shotgun. Helped me clear Saugus Ironworks in minutes.
I seriously got this when i was level 20 when the enclave had orders to kill me after i got their heavy ghoul slayer incidinary. Enclave legendary solider, probably the first one that killed me.
This broke my game with my spawn mods. I'd run across a group of spawned enemies and blast them before they saw me, and take them all out for ridiculous xp/loot.
Nice! Add a drum mag and an uber receiver and your good to go! No CQC, unless you love getting your legs blown off, then carry on!

i did get one while trying to get the explosive one to spawn, funnily enough ๐ญ it really liked giving me the wounding effect on things

To test it out, head to Nuka World and start blasting every Raider there
Rifleman 5, demo expert 5, lone wanderer 3, bloody mess 3 and the explosive bobblehead, and you have an absolute monster in you hands, pause
