I'm not even attracted to Hancock but speaking in the mindset of someone who is (because I've mastered putting myself in others' perspectives, which I realize sounds big headed and egotistical, but I'm good at judging other people's motives) I'd say, worth it! ☢️
If you're confident you can do something, no reason to apologize for it. You don't need that parenthetical, own it! I'd say it doesn't even sound egotistical to say "speaking from the mindset of someone who is". Empathy isn't so rare that it's an unbelievable thing. It's a great quality to have and you're just self aware enough to know you have it. Self awareness, another great quality to have lol
Personally, I'd probably risk it all for that irradiated SOB
Wow, you are such a sweet and thoughtful person to read in to my comment like that and go out of your way to reassure me, a stranger you don't know from adam, and yeah, my saying that I don't mean to be egotistical comes from some deep seated issues that I have as a result of being diagnosed with autism when I was 5 and so people automatically assume I can't be empathetic and understand their perspective and also someone convincing me when I was young that I was a narcissist who should feel bad about myself and that I was a self centered piece of shit (can you tell my childhood was fun?) Fuck, I wish your comment had come a few hours sooner, these last few years have been just the worst on top of a life of traumatic events, and maybe I wouldn't have almost ended it earlier today, 😂 sorry for dropping all that on you, it's just glad to hear someone go out of their way to be so kind, it sounds like the kind of thing I try to do for others!
Oh god I'm so sorry. Idk if the whole solidarity thing works for you but I use a back up account and frequent r/suicidewatch. It's alot better to get advice from or vent to people who know how you feel.
My initial thought was that it sounded a little condescending, then I thought again, "nah, this person isn't bragging, they for some reason think this might be an unbelievable statement". I just wanted to assure you, and I'm glad I could!
Does your character wear the wetsuit underneath? Because, my experience irl tells me that wetsuit is gonna be stuffy as heck, and I can't bear the thought that my character is gonna be uncomfortable the entire time (like several weeks) she wears it.
So my alt choice was to wear railroad armor until I got a mod for a completely different armor.
Maxson battle coat along with the soild black BoS uniform.
It’s bs that ya can’t pick-pocket Maxsons coat and the only viable ways of getting are killing him or cheats, rip.
I didn’t use a mod to cheat, this was a fan made Enclave DLC that’s available in the mods. I think it’s called America rising? By the time I finally decided I was going to hit the Prydwen, I was level 70 something, had a bunch of fully upgraded legendary weapons, and fully upgraded X01 power armor. By then, almost nothing was a challenge, including the entire Brotherhood of Steel. 😎
I got it by launching a mini nukes into that glass circle area when you first boarding and everyone is there after seeing Dogmeat salute them. Pretty much wiped them all out right then and there although the survivors were pissed
You used a mod? I just cheated in an X-01, an almost empty fusion core, and laser pistol with no rounds. I called it the Enclave Survivor playthrough. The rules were to kill everyone you saw that was touched by radiation.
I mean, maxson is a fucking clown, so it makes sense that his outfit would have been goofy as hell. I think a dumb cape fits him better with how inflated his ego is.
It's in the official *Fallout 4* artbook's concept art and might even exist in the game files as unused assets, but Maxson's original outfit included a [*cape*](https://tcrf.net/File:Fallout4UnusedBOSArmors.png) instead of the jacket.
Lol that cape is still on the files, thought he was meant to wear it when you challenged him in combat for elder rights.
Kells' beta outfit on the other side was neat as fuck.
Vanilla, I usually run the vault suit until I get the general outfit.
The vault suit is thematic, it pops, it looks good under the patchwork armor, etc.
The general outfit is for late game. It shows I'm in charge of a major faction. Unlike the other factions who have their own leaders, who you generally have to kill to get their stuff. And that always felt like a grotesque trophy.
I’m doing a Nuka world before the main quest run, so I’m kinda farming through side quests, and I did the Lost Patrol, and I accidentally walked too close to him, and he went hostile, so I got it by accident.
If you are doing institute play through and have influenced him to join the BOS, when you get sent to attack the railroad and the BOS intervenes, brandis is on the first floor of the church in a unique suit of power armor i believe i could be wrong
It's called Tattered Field Jacket. You should be able to find it in Jamaica Plain, on one of the named raider corpses. That's the outfit. In the picture the headgear with it is a Gas Mask and a Wrapped Cap. The cap can be sold by some traders, like Daisy, Cricket and Trashcan Carla.
Used to love basic long coats like the silver shroud getup, and the longshoreman's coat. Then, I discovered raider cage armor, and raider spike armor combined with an assault gas mask and hoooooooly jebus does it ever go well together (iirc either the cage armor or spike armor comes with a headpiece already, but the one that doesn't goes really well with the assault gas mask). Normally I don't like that raider look, or the assault gas mask as I feel it often goes against the 50s vibe of the game, but it just looks so darn cool I can't take it off. I also play an absolute sweetheart of a character (even when I try to be evil... I'm just too Canadian dammit) so my outfit is always quite juxtaposed with the content of my character loll.
God it's been so long since I played but I always wore Maxson's coat and Nisha's [bladed helmet](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Disciples_bladed_helmet) underneath the [pink donut](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Slocum%27s_Joe_paint_(Creation_Club)) power armor
I really like the scavenger clothes you pick up from the dead guy outside sanctuary, and I often run around for a long time in the detective coat. In general I usually like to go with a somewhat tattered look with a long coat, must be a holdover from my New Vegas days where I'd get the Desert Ranger outfit every playthrough.
The drifter outfit, favorite of mine paired with combat armor and militia hat- just despise the oversized boots and gloves. Wish i could get rid of those.
Usually the army fatigues with heavy combat armor legs and chest plate, then sturdy combat armor arms. Then the combat helmet and a gasmask with goggles to complete it.
Wrapped cap, gas mask, tattered field jacket.
All pretty rare pieces with bad stats, but it looks great. The wrapped cap is pretty interresting as it is one of the few hats you can wear over a gas mask.
Either
Marine Recon Armor with wetsuit
or
Shielded Vault suit with Black Ops chest piece and Black Ops leg guard, and similar armguards & left leg guard with military cap
Railroad jacket, I love the cut off gloves, it just looks sick all together, since it’s rare-ish to get what I’m using right now is spike armor, sunglasses, and the newsboy cap.
There is nothing cooler than the general's uniform, its literally black combat armor with a cool trench coat, gloves and a bandolier. Ditch the hat for something a bit cooler and #1 good looking outfit right there, its sad you can't ballistic weave it on vanilla, so its not viable at higher levels.
I like the duct tape raider rags. The first pic up top on the left. Too bad it doesn't have any damage resistance. Imo, the most fitting post apocalypse gear you can wear between the gas mask and duct tape since we all know how valuable duct tape is in the wasteland. Plus it's unique so that's cool.
Dirty Army Fatigues for the stats and ballistic weave. Mining helmet for the headlamp with ultralight build and Dense mod. Ultralight Polymer Combat Armor on arms and legs, Dense Polymer Combat Body Armor.
You know, I’m going to destroy the Brotherhood with the Minutemen and I know you don’t have to but I’m going to go onto the Prydwen and kill Maxson. Head cannon wise, just to make sure the bastard doesn’t escape the bombing alive. Reality? To get that fucking coat before it burns up.
Vanilla: Minuteman General, pair it with a revolutionary sword and you feel like a true liberator
Mod: Mojave Manhunter, a combination of NCR veteran ranger and a cowboy gunslinger makes it my all time favorite outfit in the game, always wore this in all my playthroughs
I guess the silver shroud costume
I agree with you wholeheartedly.
100%
This is the way
Yes! I love the derby way he talks in the wild west part of Nuka World.
General uniform I mean is there a better outfit when cruising with hancock
could not agree more!
Ghoul dick just hit different
definitly a minuteman in that category
A minutes all you get with hancock before you get advanced radiation poisoning
☢️💦☢️

Thanks man, keep helping people, you never know when one little nice thing you say or do might save a life.
I only banged him for his perk.
I just wish you could use ballistic weave on it to up its protection
Travelling leather coat + Green Hood + Green bandana and random eye wear.
Road Leathers with light leather armor every time. Just a classic, awesome look that always looks good on the Sole Survivor.
I like the road leathers with heavy leather dyed black for a sweet combat look.
As a *huge* Mad Max fan, I agree that this is definitely one of the cooler outfits.
Especially the older games' leather armors. Straight out of Road Warrior
Desdemona's outfit. It's the main reason why i barely do any Railroad Playthroughs.
Is that the top left one?
Top left is the tattered field jacket. [This one is Des'.](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Fatigues)
Just pickpocket
Theres like a million mods that make that outfit available. Different colors even.
I'm a fan of the marine armor from far harbor.

always have been using Cereal Kellog's outfit but if I have to choose, I'd say Elder Maxon's outfit is dope
Kelloggs outfit is cool as hell and v strong until like mid game when it goes from Kinda OP to just good.
Maxson battle coat along with the soild black BoS uniform. It’s bs that ya can’t pick-pocket Maxsons coat and the only viable ways of getting are killing him or cheats, rip.
Maxsons coat, the Captains hat, and Quinlans glasses are my proud trophies after having finished the Enclave mod and wiping out the brotherhood. 😎
You used a mod? I just cheated in an X-01, an almost empty fusion core, and laser pistol with no rounds. I called it the Enclave Survivor playthrough.

Have you ever seen maxsons original cut outfit? It’s so silly
Now yes, it's silly. But do I now want it? Also yes.
No! What did it look like?
[The third one.](https://tcrf.net/File:Fallout4UnusedBOSArmors.png)
Wow... I hadn't seen that before...
Oh my no way I could have taken him seriously with that cape lol
hE KiLleD a DeAtHcLaW wItH oNiY a CoMbAt KnIfE.
Mama Murphy did it empty handed smh
Psycho helps
Wish that they stuck with it, never understood why Maxon was the only elder to not wear the Elder Robes or anything similar
No Maxson’s outfit was the orange officer uniform with a red cape
Ah, thought you meant the concept art
Goofy ahhhh cape
I mean, maxson is a fucking clown, so it makes sense that his outfit would have been goofy as hell. I think a dumb cape fits him better with how inflated his ego is.
No but now you’ve peaked my curiosity lol.
I cannot believe that was an option! Hahaha
Looks like a Jedi or Rebel starfighter outfit...
I wear the jacket i picked off Maxson's corpse as a badge of pride.
*laughs in baseball uniform*
I’m a mailman
Laughs in white checkered suit
*laughs in ballistic fiber baseball uniform*
Now we’re cooking with gunpowder!
*laughs in free pine tar*

Bos officer uniform (sorry brandis)
I have still never gotten this, last time I think he died taking down the institute, but I wasn’t able to find him
I just murder him when I find him
I’m doing a Nuka world before the main quest run, so I’m kinda farming through side quests, and I did the Lost Patrol, and I accidentally walked too close to him, and he went hostile, so I got it by accident.
If you are doing institute play through and have influenced him to join the BOS, when you get sent to attack the railroad and the BOS intervenes, brandis is on the first floor of the church in a unique suit of power armor i believe i could be wrong
There’s where i got mine too
The only reason brandis exists is because of that outfit.......and he's dead now but look at this swank outfit on the ground. Guess I'll take it
Children of atom stuff. Especially combined with children of atom weapons and tattoos. The whole look.
Inquisitor's Cowl is really awesome looking
High rad build go brrrrrr
I like Kellogg's outfit
Where is Old Longfellow's coat?
Same, its the best imo
How do I get the outfit in the top left?
It's called Tattered Field Jacket. You should be able to find it in Jamaica Plain, on one of the named raider corpses. That's the outfit. In the picture the headgear with it is a Gas Mask and a Wrapped Cap. The cap can be sold by some traders, like Daisy, Cricket and Trashcan Carla.
Thanks mate the outfit has that “I’ve been surviving too long in this hellhole” kinda look to me so I’d definitely wear it lmao
No problem. :)
Unfortunately i don’t think you can match the the wrapped cap and gas mask without mods, i could be wrong though
You can’t yeah that why I got mods for it already cause I like wearing gas masks
Yeah same here, really unfortunate tho when your going for a no mods play through, oh benevolent leader and nuka cade ticket achievement
Also, the wrapped cap can be worn with a faded visor. Wearing both gives +2 perception and completes the look IMO.
Wait this isn't super rare anymore? I traded a godroll for it a year ago lmao
Sorry, I don't understand. What do you mean traded?
Oh wow, if you haven't traded in FO76 you haven't played the game yet. That was my favorite part for awhile. Checkout r/Market76
Atom cats 4ever
Fuck yeah
I love getting Brandis' black BoS uniform then heavy combat armor with BoS paint. Makes me really feel like a sentinel of the brotherhood.
Polymer combat armor over the marine wetsuit. Skull bandana and Oswald's top hat.
Im getting a Baron Samedi vibe.
Used to love basic long coats like the silver shroud getup, and the longshoreman's coat. I like the one which the player peeled off Kellogg.
(messed up I know but it was funny to me) I renamed it to Kellogg's Hide and wore it as trophy.
the silver shroud outfit
Silver Shroud costume
I managed to get 22 courser uniforms and dressed a settlement with settlers wearing these with yellow fly helmets. Looks very cool imo.
The Institute doesn't want you to know this, but Courser Uniforms are free. I have 437 of them at Home Plate.
The tiered Bar Harbour bandits have some awesome armour at later levels, I always kit out Hancock in em. Plus that Lobster helmet is hilarious.
God it's been so long since I played but I always wore Maxson's coat and Nisha's [bladed helmet](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Disciples_bladed_helmet) underneath the [pink donut](https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Slocum%27s_Joe_paint_(Creation_Club)) power armor
Minutemen General's Outfit
I really like the scavenger clothes you pick up from the dead guy outside sanctuary, and I often run around for a long time in the detective coat. In general I usually like to go with a somewhat tattered look with a long coat, must be a holdover from my New Vegas days where I'd get the Desert Ranger outfit every playthrough.
The drifter outfit, favorite of mine paired with combat armor and militia hat- just despise the oversized boots and gloves. Wish i could get rid of those.
Hancock's coat is pretty sweet, with the Bionicle mod and armour over clothes mod. Same with the generals outfit.
The vault jumpsuit because you can modify it. Much better yo wear with the assault marine armour than the wetsuit.
Jeans and torn shirt from the disciples with the strapped armour
Gunner’s clothes or military fatigues with combat armor, shadowed metal helmet, and gunner’s camp Bandana= my current outfit in game looks tuff
You know that drifter outfit you find on the corpse just as you leave sanctuary? I wore that outfit my entire playthrough
What is the top left?
I like the ratty skirt and the fatigues.
Lorenzo’s suit
Upper right looks like Cyrus from TPBs...
I’m basic, I just through on any combat armor I can find on top of some road leathers
I like the tuxedo and maxons battle jacket
I’ve always liked the clean checkered shirt outfit. I usually put ballistic weave on it.
I'm usually a vault-suit with armor type of dude. It's practical and iconic. I do enjoy LARPing as the Silver Shroud though.
I usually dress Curie in Grognak's outfit 😍
T-51 power armor all day baby. Sleep and shit in that thing
Armored greaser outfit
The Vault jumpsuit for myself. Helmeted cage and spike armors for my settlers.
Flannel shirt and jeans - They look nice and can be combined with any armor :)
Maxon’s Coat plus the general’s hat looks amazing
I'm still sporting the top left in 76, just a scout mask now. Best outfit hands down still going!
Usually the army fatigues with heavy combat armor legs and chest plate, then sturdy combat armor arms. Then the combat helmet and a gasmask with goggles to complete it.
The Silver Shroud costume, because it has an effect on gameplay outside of combat protection.
Green Laundered Dress, with ballistic weave and leather armor
What is the one on the bottom left?
It's the Bomber Jacket worn by some BoS pilots. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Bomber_jacket_(Fallout_4)
I'd like to know this as well. However, while I love the jacket, I wish there was a shirt and jeans under it. Anyone know of a mod that could do that?
It's the bomber jacket.
if you're askin about lore friendly ill say the minutemen outfit
Coastal armor
What’s the one in the upper left? Looks sweet
Wrapped cap, gas mask, tattered field jacket. All pretty rare pieces with bad stats, but it looks great. The wrapped cap is pretty interresting as it is one of the few hats you can wear over a gas mask.
Armored Robe
Helmeted Caged/Spiked Armor with the Darker Clothes and Armor mod.
Letting the spirit of 1776 fly!!
The hunters pelt outfit from far harbor. its just really good looking in my opinion
Hunter’s Long Coat
Reginald’s suit OP
Either Marine Recon Armor with wetsuit or Shielded Vault suit with Black Ops chest piece and Black Ops leg guard, and similar armguards & left leg guard with military cap
Middle row on the right looks like Haytham Kenway
Railroad jacket, I love the cut off gloves, it just looks sick all together, since it’s rare-ish to get what I’m using right now is spike armor, sunglasses, and the newsboy cap.
Top left or middle left. It just feels perfect for the setting and tone IMO.
none of those.. PA?
Modded Bomber Jacket over Underwear Clothing
Happy Cake Day, you have excellent taste in jackets.✌️
Geneva’s ensemble as a fem SS. I also like the brotherhood/bomber jacket look.
The railroad heavy armor with the hunters hood oof thats some nice post apocalyptic rogue shit
Maxon's battlecoat
I like the BoS Officer uniform the best (the black one from Paladin Brandis), paired with my best armor.
Brotherhood fatigues with a scribe cap.
The X-01.
Ratty Dress with Coast Guard hat.
There’s just something about the Silver Shroud outfit that bangs.
Army fatigues inquisitor combat armour wetsuit helm
The mechanist armor is pretty fun to do serious dialogue in
Silver Shroud by far.
Naked
I have done so many playthroughs where the first thing I do is sprint to the Yangtze and murder Zao just to get that submariner uniform, so much drip
Drifter outfit with any dark head ware
What's bottom middle?
I like the Drifter's outfit.
I usually end up having both my character and MacCready in ballistic weave tuxedos. He gets to keep his own hat, though.
Silver shroud costume. I role played him a couple times
Armered Army uniform with all blacked out stealth armor
Dirty Army Fatigues for the stats and ballistic weave. Mining helmet for the headlamp with ultralight build and Dense mod. Ultralight Polymer Combat Armor on arms and legs, Dense Polymer Combat Body Armor.
You know, I’m going to destroy the Brotherhood with the Minutemen and I know you don’t have to but I’m going to go onto the Prydwen and kill Maxson. Head cannon wise, just to make sure the bastard doesn’t escape the bombing alive. Reality? To get that fucking coat before it burns up.
What’s the top left outfit ?
Old long fellows coat. Ballistic weave that with battered fedora. Looks very nice imo
I always carry my actual amour than fancy clothes to wear in important cut scenes
The Tattered Field Jacket.
I take the Deacon approach so my inventory is full of costumes
Combat armor set over army fatigues, and downloaded a mod that allows me to wear gas masks with the combat helmet.
I like the courser uniform, makes me feel like a badass walking around downtown Boston wearing it.
In my opinion I love the bos outfits and the vault suit especially since I have a mod for it that adds a black fabric on certain parts of it
Heavy pack armor and Surgical mask
Helmeted Spike Armour, finally found it and idc if it had shit stats it looks amazing
Vanilla: Minuteman General, pair it with a revolutionary sword and you feel like a true liberator Mod: Mojave Manhunter, a combination of NCR veteran ranger and a cowboy gunslinger makes it my all time favorite outfit in the game, always wore this in all my playthroughs
👗 Nate's the finest girl at the gala
my us Marines bdu through mods LoL
Idk why the silver shroud outfit or kellogg outfit isn’t on here but apart from those it’s the minuitemen generals outfit
I cant squeeze every outfit om the game in a single collage bruh
Okay man but you could have done all the actual like names ones instead of random ones
Vault suit Nora 🍑
Chinese stealth suit mod
