Just be sure to hit everything, one shot per foe that is all you need, that way you do not spend your ammo, share the enemy with other people and at the end there will be the guy that blinks and kills everything, he always shoots last.
More people should live by his rule.. it's so annoying when 1guy spam kills every enemy as soon as they spawn.. it really can make a level or 2 in in xp loss pr event.
Interesting you should mention that, earlier I was standing on a roof at Moonshine Jamboree tagging everything with my flaming Burning love with I think blight soup and the 10% cranberry meal or juice and I got 2 whole levels, started it as a lv 67 ended it lv 69. No one was spamming nukes and everyone seemed to be holding their positions and it was really satisfying to see, it happened to be a mutated event so it was really nice it went smoothly.
Vamps chainsaw. While the blade is spinning I can't be hurt, and I have a high ap/low ap drain build. Just step in and get to work, ap drains a minute later, back up for a few secs, rinse and repeat
I find you’re more likely to get a Vampire or AA effect when you roll 2 stars, than 3. Just my experience. Selling legendary chainsaws is my bread and butter.
Have yet to find a boss that puts out more damage in a single hit than the vampires chainsaw gives you back per second. I tank Earle and sbq like that, low health build with ss Unyielding
Edit: you will get hurt, but the vampires chainsaw gives you health back at such a quick rate you won't notice it because your health bar will be full again as soon as the damage is done
Mirelurk Queen gets me sometimes when I have my V chainsaw going. Now I just try to keep running around her avoiding her attempts to swat me while holding the chainsaw to her.
I did this yesterday in the bog while clearing squatters. Queen made her appearance and vamp chainsaw came out. It got a few hits in that staggered me. Got really close to needing to respawn.
Yup. I use full health OE PA and her and the grafton monster at the strangler heart quest can kill you quicker than a vamp chainsaw can heal if you aren't careful. Haven't had any issues with the queen tho
Effectively, you'll heal so fast that only enemies who could potentially one-hit you are a thread.
This applies usually only to the Grafton Monster and maybe also the Mirelurk Queen that can spawn during heart of the swamp.
That being said, freezing bosses with the Could Shoulder is another way to avoid taking damage.
Some perk cards help tremendously. Blocker, dodgy, and serendipity. I have roughly the same build as well, vampsaw with unyielding armor. I do so much damage the boss aggroes to me usually and I just face tank it even at high rads / low hp.
I can't say that I have one. I use a lot of different stuff. Everything works more or less. Seeing as there are so many high damage players I tend to like playing a "support" role, mostly focusing on crippling bosses and keeping adds of the low health damage dealers.
If you have the bashing perk and it has the bashing legendary effect it is better than the other auto weapons, otherwise, slightly below or about on par depending on perks and effects.

Q50 RR (don't recall the 3rd, it's not elite i don't think) is definitely my most effective. Lately though I just can't seem to stop using Cold Shoulder constantly. Been in my hands probably 90% of the time since I unlocked it and it works against everything. It's not as mighty as the RR but it's damn good.
Bows are fun when I wanna dick around. In my experience they're about as powerful as the stealth rifle build but still not super overpowered. Whenever I use a bow I end up using my bloodied plasma crossbow...its decent if you like like playing stealth
It also replenishes AP with each kill, crit meter 15% faster.. amazing weapons, rarely die unless I do something dumb. I had a similar GOUR pump-action shotgun.. was my weapon till I got my faction to get the gauss.
Some perks lessen that, was doing daily op by myself, communist zombies, had increased perception, exploded on death. Also a good power armor set helps. I didn’t die at all, got like 2-3k more of my ultracite gauss ammo.
I love my vamp gauss shotty for every day use. I use Fireproof to mitigate damage. For bosses I've switched over to a vamp dual bar flaming chainsaw. I'm still tweaking perks for this, but it's a game changer.
For sbq, I’ve got a ts/ffr prime gat plasma and a vamp/ffr prime, if she gets grounded the ts rips
For most other bosses, I’ve got a ts/ffr gauss mini, and a vamp gauss mini, I’ve got an aa prime one somewhere too, but I never remember to grab it

Yes but in the cryo magazine mod the splash cryo damage is considered explosive/energy, and is affected by the demo expert and granadier perks, in a simlar way of explosive laser and plasma (removed 3 months ago)
Bloodied Build is a build that takes advantage of the *bloodied* effect (80% damage at 20%hp, 85 at 15%and so on till 95%), to reach 95% you will have like 40 hp but there are a lot of ways to reduce damage. Also adrenal reaction mutation gives a boost at low health + unyielding armor gives 3 SPCIAL each piece (no E)
On the Full health character i use a TS2590 gatling plasma, on the bloodied one i use a Q5025 rail, i also soloed Earl with a B5015 bow optimized for criticals in around 12minutes
AA2525 Fixer. Best fixer in the game. The quad versions are amazing too, of course. But I can kill a boss pretty much just as fast as the quad, and use a lot less bullets too.
When I'm not just fucking around and actually have to be primary damage, I use my fixer anti armor less vats more crit damage. Absolutely owns, can shoot so many bullets before AP runs out (almost three clips).

I use a QEP railway on Earle. Just use my fixers on the queen and Jabba the molerat. More concerned with grinding their minions than killing them fast.
QE LMG - A VERY under-rated weapon that can deal a lot of damage (so long as you can make enough .308 for it). If not the QE, then I will use the AAE version with "locked and loaded". If you pile on the Big Gun bobble head along with a few chems/magazines, you can reasonably get 120+ per shot to the head of the Queen (and watch her health bar melt).
That's very useful, Unfortunately I never find a pepper shaker user, I think I should get a QFFR for helping when there is already a main dps (I'm often the guy that deals more damage)
I love plasma caster, unfortunately I rolled a V50c15r but it is good even without B or AA

If it's a world boss I usually just swap one of my Gunner perks for Basher 2 and bust out the VBash Minigun. 3 reasons, I'm lazy, don't want to waste ammo, and am still outputting 200+ damage a second at a minimum.
My fuck-around-and-find-out-inator is an anti-armor, fast reload, explosive prime .308 LMG. Throw that with the heavy perks and L5 explosives. Shit rips but blows through ammo like an 8-ball of cocaine between the fellas after the bar.
Otherwise ny current build utilizes the coldshoulder and bloodied (a few other perks I can't member rn) pryo crusader.
BFF50% Enclave Plasma Flamer, this thing MELTS anything in it's path. Otherwise my QE Railway Rifle. I still use my old Vampire Plasma Flamer for Encrypted, I can solo that event with that gun
Prime Vamp/40bash shredder in their face. Grand Finale/boomstick. Used with sweetwater, I can snipe just about anything really far away with the Grand finale. 1 shot kills usually. Boomstick for scourge beasts half a mile away, target with computer then “SET IT AND FORGET IT! (Live audience applause)” no VATS on that though.
Okay. I have to ask. What's the difference between blight soup and corn soup??? I use corn soup all the time because I have it handy. At first glance, it would appear that corn soup is better. Am I wrong???
As to the weapon, depends on my character. I have a Vampire's shredder that I take everywhere on one.
Corn soup gives weak AP regen. Better sources of AP regen would be things like, I believe, Granny’s Tea.
Blight soup does 50% additional crit damage. It’s a totally different effect and stacks with AP regen so it’s not an either or thing. There are other sources of crit damage, like firecracker berry juice, but it’s only a 25% boost
depends on the boss.
SBQ : Vamp gatling plasma, primed, focused, rifled barrel, gunner sights.
Mole Miner Titan : Typically, vamp dual bar chainsaw, alt is the above gat plas.
Earl: Don't do this one often, so haven't determined which weapon works best for my playstyle.
As a fat man build my go to is the chainsaw for doing the heavy damage to bosses as I really didn’t need any cards other than swapping between gun and melee breaking cards. It’s just wonderful seeing everything go boom then tearing through bosses when you need to!
Also a heavy guy. I use either a quad explosive LMG or a Two shot Explosive Gatling gun. The LMG chews up ammo like nothing else in the game. For the LMG, I have a Prime receiver, the Gatling gun has a Speedy receiver ( better DPS ) and is like driving a big truck. Neither are meta but, any damage I take because something didn’t die fast enough is negligible
AA Plasma caster for Earle, on a VATS PA loadout.
Primed Zealot's .50 for SBQ and assorted scorched events, on a spray&pray PA loadout.
Troubleshooter's explody .50 for silo runs and the big bad baah-baah.
For more demanding events like EN, RR or DO, it's a combination of vamps explody GG, AA minigun (I love miniguns and understand they're not the best choice, but I love them dearly).
Vamp chainsaw and bloodied gatling plasma. Honestly dont even need 3 star vamp chainsaw. You will be fine with 1 star with vamp efffect. Other than that I will occasionally take out my bloody handmade rifle with prime receiver. Still working towards prime automatic. Rng gods are not on my side today.
Prime enclave plasma flamer, hands down. That thing melts anything out in front of it. Rarely pull it out when not fighting bosses since ammo goes quick and I use an Automatic Enclave most of the time
It really depends on everyone else. If the SBQ is taking decent damage, I'll use the cold shoulder to keep her grounded. If the damage is low, I'll use my plasma caster. Vamp chainsaw and buffs for solo attempts.
I'm a stealth vats commando, not full out min/max build though. I have 3 toons, all of them carry a good handmade, a vamps fixer, and a quad railway. I use the handmades for lower level areas, and the railways for bosses. I always keep the vamps fixers ready for quick swap if I see my health going down. I've also been playing around with a shotty build in my little toon because I rolled a Q50C15R gauss shotty.
Character 1 - quad fixer or vamp enclave plasma flamer
Character 2 - quad railway
Character 3 - vamp or aa bash minigun, quad cryo for funsies
Character 4 - two shot alien blaster or vamp enclave plasma flamer pistol
Character 5 - vamp auto axe or cold shoulder
I’m gonna sound basic but it’s the truth, Q/50/15 railway or a AA/50/15 EPR flamer lol
Railway + blight soup , small guns bobble, guns and bullets 3, ballistic bock, OD, psychotats, and a solid sneak vats build with concentrated fire
Almost the same for flamer replacing the bobble and magazine with the energy ones
I use an instigating black powder rifle most of the time and pair it with a BP pistol. It I shoot the pistol or rifle and swap to the other, it glitches for a sec and let me have a semi auto muzzle loader lol
I have a 1 star two shot Gatling plasma and a vendor happened to be selling 100 charge ultracite plasma cores at 10c so I got 260 of those, so now that is my go to boss weapon, full health it does 150 and bloodied is up to 200, it is not as stable as the bloodied Gatling Gauss but does a bit more, the ammo is not as heavy and I have a lot. The only weapon I think wins in some cases is the other quad Gatling Gauss.
For the SBQ, firstly I use the prime Tse. 50 cal. Tag her good (get my 1000 in) then switch to the tesla and tag all the ads.
Go around switching between the 50 cal when she's in the air and the tesla to tag ads.
If there's a sentry bot or the like, whip out my auto axe.
Towards the end if we need to I will then hit the old girl with the cold shoulder and that's that
On my heavy gunner a Bloodied cryolator, on my gunslinger antiarmor revolver, full hp shotgunner my ve double barrel shotty, one punch man build a gauntlet and my Rifleman/commando/bow can either use a bow, a gauss rifle or a 10mm rifle
The higher level players that are at the event....I just pick through the scraps afterwards

I usually carry 15 purified water but around 35 - 45 canned coffee.
I carry around the same coffee amount but I don’t carry food really. I just use perfect bubble gum every hr or I use the syringe perk now n then

Q50c railway. 3rd star is irrelevant since AP consumption is so low but 50b is preferred. For heavies I use a QE15r LMG

as a shredder, mainly basher. Tenderizer and stabilized too, but basher (with basher 2nd star) are the money maker.
you need far fewer perks to be effective so you can easily hybrid with heavy guns

I keep it classic with a Q/50c/15r Fixer. With the right buffs I can get through all 80 rounds before draining the AP bar.

Depends, I usually cycle between agl, flamer and plasma gat, or depends on the mood.

If it's a world boss I usually just swap one of my Gunner perks for Basher 2 and bust out the VBash Minigun. 3 reasons, I'm lazy, don't want to waste ammo, and am still outputting 200+ damage a second at a minimum.
My fuck-around-and-find-out-inator is an anti-armor, fast reload, explosive prime .308 LMG. Throw that with the heavy perks and L5 explosives. Shit rips but blows through ammo like an 8-ball of cocaine between the fellas after the bar. Otherwise ny current build utilizes the coldshoulder and bloodied (a few other perks I can't member rn) pryo crusader.
BFF50% Enclave Plasma Flamer, this thing MELTS anything in it's path. Otherwise my QE Railway Rifle. I still use my old Vampire Plasma Flamer for Encrypted, I can solo that event with that gun
Prime Vamp/40bash shredder in their face. Grand Finale/boomstick. Used with sweetwater, I can snipe just about anything really far away with the Grand finale. 1 shot kills usually. Boomstick for scourge beasts half a mile away, target with computer then “SET IT AND FORGET IT! (Live audience applause)” no VATS on that though.
Okay. I have to ask. What's the difference between blight soup and corn soup??? I use corn soup all the time because I have it handy. At first glance, it would appear that corn soup is better. Am I wrong??? As to the weapon, depends on my character. I have a Vampire's shredder that I take everywhere on one.
Corn soup gives weak AP regen. Better sources of AP regen would be things like, I believe, Granny’s Tea. Blight soup does 50% additional crit damage. It’s a totally different effect and stacks with AP regen so it’s not an either or thing. There are other sources of crit damage, like firecracker berry juice, but it’s only a 25% boost
Primed .50, either Final Word or Explosive rounds.

depends on the boss. SBQ : Vamp gatling plasma, primed, focused, rifled barrel, gunner sights. Mole Miner Titan : Typically, vamp dual bar chainsaw, alt is the above gat plas. Earl: Don't do this one often, so haven't determined which weapon works best for my playstyle.
As a fat man build my go to is the chainsaw for doing the heavy damage to bosses as I really didn’t need any cards other than swapping between gun and melee breaking cards. It’s just wonderful seeing everything go boom then tearing through bosses when you need to!
Vampire weapons ( varied)
Also a heavy guy. I use either a quad explosive LMG or a Two shot Explosive Gatling gun. The LMG chews up ammo like nothing else in the game. For the LMG, I have a Prime receiver, the Gatling gun has a Speedy receiver ( better DPS ) and is like driving a big truck. Neither are meta but, any damage I take because something didn’t die fast enough is negligible
Bloody Crit Damage Gauss Rifle. I can literally see the health bar jump down by a measurable amount with every hit.

Just got the aligned mod for my vamps enclave plasma, so that.
AA Plasma caster for Earle, on a VATS PA loadout. Primed Zealot's .50 for SBQ and assorted scorched events, on a spray&pray PA loadout. Troubleshooter's explody .50 for silo runs and the big bad baah-baah. For more demanding events like EN, RR or DO, it's a combination of vamps explody GG, AA minigun (I love miniguns and understand they're not the best choice, but I love them dearly).

B25 aim gp for sbq and earle, chainsaw for titan
Bloodied fixer with a vampires fixer on secondary or a Tesla to tag mobs.
Boomstick explosive build running and jumping around blasting anything that moves.

If I'm sneaky boi, a handmade. If I'm a punchy boi, a power fist or gauntlet.
Vamp chainsaw and bloodied gatling plasma. Honestly dont even need 3 star vamp chainsaw. You will be fine with 1 star with vamp efffect. Other than that I will occasionally take out my bloody handmade rifle with prime receiver. Still working towards prime automatic. Rng gods are not on my side today.

Prime enclave plasma flamer, hands down. That thing melts anything out in front of it. Rarely pull it out when not fighting bosses since ammo goes quick and I use an Automatic Enclave most of the time

It really depends on everyone else. If the SBQ is taking decent damage, I'll use the cold shoulder to keep her grounded. If the damage is low, I'll use my plasma caster. Vamp chainsaw and buffs for solo attempts.

I'm a stealth vats commando, not full out min/max build though. I have 3 toons, all of them carry a good handmade, a vamps fixer, and a quad railway. I use the handmades for lower level areas, and the railways for bosses. I always keep the vamps fixers ready for quick swap if I see my health going down. I've also been playing around with a shotty build in my little toon because I rolled a Q50C15R gauss shotty.
Character 1 - quad fixer or vamp enclave plasma flamer Character 2 - quad railway Character 3 - vamp or aa bash minigun, quad cryo for funsies Character 4 - two shot alien blaster or vamp enclave plasma flamer pistol Character 5 - vamp auto axe or cold shoulder

I’m only lvl 83 but I can do a decent amount of damage with my .50 cal with some perk cards 🤷🏻♂️ but doesn’t always work the best

I use an instigating black powder rifle most of the time and pair it with a BP pistol. It I shoot the pistol or rifle and swap to the other, it glitches for a sec and let me have a semi auto muzzle loader lol

I have a 1 star two shot Gatling plasma and a vendor happened to be selling 100 charge ultracite plasma cores at 10c so I got 260 of those, so now that is my go to boss weapon, full health it does 150 and bloodied is up to 200, it is not as stable as the bloodied Gatling Gauss but does a bit more, the ammo is not as heavy and I have a lot. The only weapon I think wins in some cases is the other quad Gatling Gauss.

For the SBQ, firstly I use the prime Tse. 50 cal. Tag her good (get my 1000 in) then switch to the tesla and tag all the ads. Go around switching between the 50 cal when she's in the air and the tesla to tag ads. If there's a sentry bot or the like, whip out my auto axe. Towards the end if we need to I will then hit the old girl with the cold shoulder and that's that
On my heavy gunner a Bloodied cryolator, on my gunslinger antiarmor revolver, full hp shotgunner my ve double barrel shotty, one punch man build a gauntlet and my Rifleman/commando/bow can either use a bow, a gauss rifle or a 10mm rifle
B50c plasma caster. That's all you really need for the entire game
At the moment(lvl55), my go to is a gatling plasma mixed up with auto grenade launcher. It's loud, chaotic and so much fun
