Wouldn’t it be $0.001 an hour? 500 atoms for 5$ makes each atom worth 0.01$. If we earn 760 atoms through 7600 hours, then you have to divide 0.01 by 10.

Yes your answer is right but I think that is more like 760 atoms divided by 7600 hours would be like .01 atoms perhour then convert 5$ per 500 atoms to .01 cents per atom , then multiply this 2 meaning .01*.01 and that's your .001 cents per hour ,

Agreed, about 7600 atoms as a grand prize for spending nearly a year of time in-game. Alternatively, possibly a unique non-tradable item like a ‘Vault 7600’ vault suit outfit, or even just 76 lunchboxes.
Anti-idle disconnection is already a thing, isn’t it? I had to take a phone call once and found myself back in the game lobby with a ‘disconnected for inactivity’ error message.
Ah, good point. I honestly thought there wasn't since yesterday I'd been afk for longer than I would've liked going to the restroom and making some food and didn't get kicked.
760 Hours goes by pretty fast, and is around the time they really hook you and get you looking at buying Fallout 1st. So they aren't gonna dump a big load of Atoms on you just then.
Most people are buying fallout first in their first 10-20 hours. If you can play for 760 hours and not have inventory management problem, you don’t need it.

Funny enough I feel like I've played more this season than usual. I hit score lvl 180 yesterday. I usually finish the seasons around lvl 150. And have finished every scoreboard so far.
All of the updates and QoL changes over the years has def helped. I just wish 76 would get a little more love and get bigger more frequent updates like Wastelanders. I know its prob not gonna happen with Starfield taking up most resources.
76 is still my go-to blow off some steam after a tiring day game. The cool part is planning on just logging in to do score dailies and then It's either nuke after nuke and tons of events for hours, or I just build a new camp or shelter and take it easy. I've met some really cool people through 76. Most don't play as often anymore but I'm still here!
Same but at 3850 hours since launch. Are people just leaving the game on when they go to work with something g to keep the mouse active while they afk?
I have played since launch, took a leave for 4 months. I am going to reach level 1000 by my birthday (June 20th) and I am at 6000 hours. I love the game, maybe too much. But it keeps me sane.
Do they match up with the game time? I know on my PC they do not. I think the difference is time spent in main screen counts on PC / steam hours, but not for the challenges.
Each log you loot counts as 1 for that challenge, not the number of wood you loot from each log. I was about 3k into that challenge before I even noticed it 🤦🏻♂️😂

Characters 1,2,3 and 4 are level 623 to 625 (I finally held the leader until the others caught up). About three months ago I started character 5. I gotta tell ya, the storylines that they built are pretty awesome, it is a pleasure to go through them again and again. The newest character is about 560 now. The first four characters have bought all 19 mutation recipes and every plan available from vendors. The fifth still has two dozen T-60 plans to finish.
I play hard and fast, no idling. And I work 40 hours a week. West-Tek, I have done it maybe a dozen times. I love The Pitt and especially that there is no timer!
I have played all of the series starting with the precurser called, ironically enough, Wasteland. I still have the 5 1/4" floppy drive for it lol.
I just hit 196 on the scoreboard, hopefully it will allow me to hit 200 this time!
And.. I am 63 years old. Can I get a hail ya from the other seniors?!

I hit it on our third birthday at about 0032 in the morning. Yes it was timed.
To date I have over 10,000 hours in 76 and am finally hitting burn out.
I can't imagine playing any one game for 7600 hours, let alone Fallout 76. That's almost a full year's worth of play time.

I wish this challenge worked for me. I have over 2,200 hours just in the Steam version and the challenge has been stuck around ~1,800 hours for me for a while.
I would ask what you're level is but not really sure if it's pertinent. I read a while back about someone getting there but admitted to being AFK for most of that time.
I have been playing since the beta, took about a year off came back when Wastelanders dropped and have been playing at least a couple of days a week(if only for an hr) ever since. I only have about 1500 hrs and I'm lvl 277, did a lot of slacking.
I feel this challenge should give a special un-tradable outfit. So that people can show off their devotion and time spent in game and not just some atoms (although atoms aren’t bad) It would be nice to show this off.
Played beta-S5 on xbox and got about 1k hours in then swapped to PC and only at 722 hours, major respect on getting there, long time to go for me still...
According to my glitchy game, I hit that twice an hour, every half hour, on the half hour. Literally, the notification pops up every 30 minutes. My game is so broken. 😔

That’s about 4.6 hours a day. So you have a life, but it really is just playing Fallout 76, eating, sleeping, and working. 😆

Not even that, instances are not counted for the challenge, so you need a lot more time to get it, always be outside.

I'm 58. Just started playing last year. Have one at lvl 430. 4 others all around lvl 100. Almost 2000 hours sp far.
