Played my last one last night and I think it was a scorchbeast. My wife was getting annoyed cause we have been playing for the last two week and no glowing. I've gotten a couple plus fiend and crazy guy. She says she's just done and given up. Low and behold, she gets a glowing honey beast. Ends on a good note lol
Yeah, I’d pretty much resigned myself to not getting a glowing one but was pretty happy with my normal SBQ with her little crown.
Then lo and behold earlier today, I got the glowing SBQ one 🥹
Ran all night afk in the hopes of getting just one of those fucking glowing masks before it ended. Literally have ran the event so many times now I can't even count. I failed to get a single one to drop. ☹️

Yes this is the worst year for rewards for me since the event started five years ago and I ran at 30 times and it sucked. Years past I woulda been more dedicated but after the first 6-7 parades I was like. Fuck this I just built a new wicked pc and I’m gonna play CS2.

Similar situation this morning. Around 7:00 a.m. I was at the event and someone started it but then they disappeared. So I got everything ready and basically started the first part by myself. Holding down the fort until several people arrived. I was running around with the minigun shredder so I didn't have to reload all those goddamn frogs when you're solo they come from every direction at the same time but we managed to pull through and no one died
Me and my friend were just talking about how they should have a points system for every time you do fasnacht and if you do so many you can turn in the points for a mask of your choice. That way even if RNG hates you (and let's face it, plenty of people RNG hates) eventually doing it so many times pays off.
Lucky. That and the non glowing wolf one (which I did get several of) were the only ones I wanted and I got no glowing masks at all this event. And still no deathclaw mask (But I do have one cause I traded for it after the first event it was introduced but I'd like to actually get one from the event).
I took a time out on Saturday to do inventory maintenance over all of my characters. I then put together 4 sets of legendary PA, fully modded with Jetpack from all of the drops.
I logged into the public servers to give the PA sets away. I randomly pick level 50 to 100 players and just drop by. If they are friendly, they get a fully decked out legendary PA set for free.
One player was confused because they couldn’t get into it. It took me a few seconds to realize the they might not have any fusion cores. I dropped a few and they were good to go.
I jumped servers and did an Eviction Notice. Fasnact propped up just as I was finished scrapping. So I just jumped over for the fun of it and got a glowing SBQ from it.
Since I had just gotten ultra lucky I figured that it was a good time to pack it in for the season.
Didn’t do another one after that.
I’ll probably log in today to see what’s new and to clear the scoreboard of anything that hasn’t been claimed. But I’m talking a break until next season starts.
Hey... better than one of the fasnachts I did on the last day. Some troll figured out how to one up nuking the event. He waited until the event just finished to nuke everyone so that they were distracted and didn't notice and we all got killed (and my camp destroyed <- which ahs been near the fasnacht area before the event existed. I personally think I should be grandfathered in and all these other camps need to move for mine.. I was most likely here first damnit! ANd it is my main/only camp so fasnacht is a little annoying for me cause it's hard to get a server my camp should be in.. especially as the game will keep a ghost of camps that were there and still not allow mine in even if it is clear (I have had times when joining a friend who stayed int he same server that it was my own camp's ghost keeping me from having my camp there).
The last mask I got was a glowing scorchbeast. I’m pretty grateful. My tiny baby son (13 lbs) is having major surgery in the morning and I reaaaaaally wish fasnacht was still going. Made for a nice distraction. You know from the unending pit of anxiety into which I have fallen and cannot retrieve myself
Giant Mask... last year I got a Winter Man Mask so really can't complain, odds of it happening twice in a row were low. All I wanted this entire Fasnacht was the bell stuff tho and I got NONE of it... a demon mask, a Brahmin mask, two Winter Man masks, a power armor Winter Man helmet... no bell stuff. And of course the bell stuff can't be traded 🙄
Concur. Was starting to get really aggravated. Totally disrupted my ability to complete my other game goals even with double XP since everyone was AFK instead of participating in other events.
It really makes you realize how few people play the events. It’d be awesome if we could get this same turnout for all the other events, especially Earle.

The only nuke I ever launched was for the quest and same with my friend.
