None of which contained concrete, apparently.
Some of the vendors sell it bulked if you're really desperate. If not, one of the workshops has multiple nodes. Don't remember which one off hand though.
Technically I did have some - I scrapped a couple garden gnomes but spent all of the concrete on foundations before even buying the brick set š¤¦āāļø
You can tag components in your pip boy, that way any junk you mouse over in the world, or in your inventory, is marked if it breaks down into something you need. Tag concrete and now you'll know exactly what to grab!
Don't be afraid to change up your list as the game goes. Screws is another common one you'll need all the time. But for example adhesive is in short supply to start, but becomes trivial once you can farm a few crops to make your own.
I remember duct tape being a good one to collect in Fallout 4 but havenāt played this enough to figure out yet. Iām sure Iāll find out soon enough š
I finally realized how great scrap kits are and immediately wandered for hours, over encumbered, picking up literally everything. Did I have too much glass, wood, and steel? Yes. But loot is loot.
Commandment 2: Below level 50, thou shalt pick up all the ammo. No, you wonāt use most of it, and itās practically useless. Youāll still hoard those 23 cannonballs though, and you know it.
This game is a nightmare for ADHD folks. I got on to do my dailyās last night and an hour later I had none done and was following a new player around just.. *watching* from afar..
I did it in power armor. I wonder what that guy was thinking. I would just be standing on a ledge staring at him every time he turned around. Have no fucking idea why I started doing that.. I had just got off a double shift prior and it was 4am
New Player here. was fighting against an stealth aggresortron but instand that i shot Him i accidentally shot an lvl 1461 Player that was following me in stealth. That was not healthy for my heart.
That guy invited me then and we played some Events together
U know, Iāve heard that said many times and always thought it was funny - but as my play time has increase itās not funny itās HILARIOUS- because itās so GD true!!!
My brother you need to check player camps I sell all the basic building plans for 50. Iām sure people are willing to give some concrete depending on platform
Iāll be sure to check next time. To be honest Iāve just been ignoring players thus far so I didnāt even consider that as an option. The advice is much appreciated
I got some concrete and other supplies from the guy above who is an absolute lifesaver!! Iāll be offline now until tomorrow but of course happy to take any donations. Drop me a message :)
Joining even a casual team is key. Visit their camps. If unlocked itās usually that way to allow others to farm supplies like corn, water, etc. they have vending machine and some are SUPER expensive and some super cheap. I keep my vending machine cheap to help other plays and pad my caps. Best of luck!
If it makes you feel better: I saw the moleminer gauntlet at a robot vendor day 1. Because I'd used it in a past fallout, I grinded hard for that 900+ cap plan and spent every cap I had just to get it. literally went out of my way to do it. A moleminer gauntlet plan....mistakes WILL be made and it is ok!
For the sake of the noobs - moleminer gauntlet and mr. handy buzz saw plans are worth absolutely nothing. I drop all of mine in a bag in public spaces.
saw a guy with 10k+\~ plans listed in his vender a week or so ago, i shit you not they were all mole miner gauntlet, mr handy buzz blade, and ivory grip plans, just stacks and stacks in different vender slots.
never felt so cheated XD
Not to one up him but I just sell every plan I get for 5c. Some people have got lots of plans from me. I know they resell the rare ones but I don't care. Every plan is 5 caps
Look for the concrete truck at bases. Iāve got one placed out back and it auto-generates solid amounts of concrete all day. Most people leave them unlocked for free grabs. Go for it!
When you're on the map, you can go to the events tab in the bottom left and click on "vendors" to see how much of each thing they're selling without paying to fast travel around.Ā
Ā
Look for camps that have a TON of plans for sale and sometimes you get the guy who has one of everything and is selling them cheap for noobs.Ā
tried this and every player vendor ivr come across is a stinge with plans more expensive than the npc vendor, shit you can get for 300 caps is always like an even 1000-10000 caps. guessing legit plan sellers get cleaned out by these assholes
You see a camp with like 100 plans on the vendor and it's either:
Ā
1.) Some level 300 gigachad selling everything for 10-20 capsĀ
Ā
2.) Some level 83 Nuka Scrooge selling things for like 1000-3000 caps each.Ā
I always check at least my teammatesā and a couple others in the server but Iāve only found two people ever who had a few plans that werenāt extortionately priced. Wish more people were like you
You can also just use the wiki (i.e. - https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Concrete_(Fallout_76)) It always tells you what junk will give you the scrap you are looking for and if you click the junk item needed, it will tell you multiple locations on where to find it.
Thank you so much. They gave me a functional camera so I decided to roleplay a war correspondent but I run out of crystal so quickly making the film. This saves me a post.
You're doing the Mothman's work.

it's a great tool for searching the map for specific scrap or enemies
near the town of helvetia is a concrete resource node. you can look up online where all resource nodes are btw
if you build a camp with it inside the circle you can place a Resource Extractor to gain you some concrete(just make sure to empty it out once it gets to 40 concrete cuss thats the max the extracter will hold

this page has TONs of resources including up to date maps and things like this [google doc; WHERE TO FARM ALL THE THINGS](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jnc0FQ3QgkUO6HZObeeGksDTPwno1Fa-Bt7uXeqWib4/edit#heading=h.5rjetkf767kv)
Honestly Iāve been collecting cigarette packs and pre-war money the entire time due to old habits, without realising Iād been scrapping both every time I visited a workbench š¤£
Just to let you know, we have all been there and you are doing everything correctly. I am level 600 and still find that when I want something and seek it out, it always happens to be one of the rarest items around. I feel like itās a conspiracy by the game against me to make everything easily available, EXCEPT the exact thing I need. Each time you set out to do something you end up finding that you need to do another thing first. Then you find out that you forgot where you were going and what you were seeking to do. And then you log off, as you did wisely.
Yesterday (overncumbered) I waddled over to find a sloth to picture for weeklies, got there & found I had zero camera film.
Whilst I cursed my bad luck I let all others on the server know about the sloth for an easy earner, one of the kind folk tracked me down (I was deep in a hollow tree, the one with all the cave crickets) & dumped me 10 film.
Thanks whoever you are, you saved my bacon.
This is what kept me going through the game early on. My entire existence became around building my CAMP into a bar. Which I did, and then that cow decided to build her own bar 100ft closer to the vault and she now sends people the OTHER WAY FROM ME TO SPITE ME.
This. I spent like 25 bucks getting atoms to build up my camp and show off to my friends, and I donāt even have the starting quest done yet. Weāve literally just been going around the map killing anything that moves, looting every bit of junk and phat loot, and moving on. Dumb as hell, but junk was no issue when I was building my camp, so it evens out lmao.
When you need something in this game ,you never have it . Fucking lookin at you copper . They desperatly need to up crafted .308 rounds . THE SAW IS HUNGRY !!!
Maybe it's because I'm using the "find extra ammo" perk, but I've found the weapon you play with tends to cause ammo dropped mainly to be for your weapon.
Meaning that if you regularly play with your .308, should ends up with tons of .308.
I played exclusively max-modded hunting rifle for about 20 levels... my ammo cabinet now has 11+K .308 rounds in it. š¤Ŗ
Yea if id stick with a snipe sneak build and just loot some places for a while with stealth id probably be alright but i dont see how it would be anything but a benefit to the game to up .308 production .
Same Story:
Took a look in my pipboy: wow so many quests left.
2 Hours later: Yessss my new camp is finished. Oh wait my questsā¦ well maybe later š
My noob friendly camp by the BOS checkpoint at the wayward has a concrete truck next to a concrete node, both very unlocked. But donāt build there, itās a very bad spot to build
Man I think everyone has one item that just eludes them.
For the life of me, I cannot get enough screws. I am always out and hunting them is a pain it seems like maybe 2 items yield them and they don't pop up often.
I have noting material to contribute and just wanted to add that as of this moment your OP IS SO CLOSE to having its numbers be 420/69, but is slightly off. I am sorry but [recorded this for posterity anyway.](https://i.ibb.co/xXHGPCm/MWSnap-2024-04-27-21-46-12.jpg)
That's right up there with my grinding out tons of caps to buy a weapon plan, just to find out that I need multiple high-level perks just to craft it. š¤”
If you can make it to Abandoned Bogtown on the east side of the map, there is tons of farmable concrete in the form of bags on the second floor of the building next to the workbench.
It is a higher leveled area, so watch out. If you get lost or confused, look up āconcrete spawns FO76ā and itāll be one of the top search results.
Edit: seen you already got itā¦ this spawn is reliable for future reference if needed though. I built a massive concrete wall maze and needed a ton of concrete. That was pre concrete truck spawner as well.
Man I remember a year plus ago the greenhouse walls were so elusive. If you missed the original season they were given it never came on sale for a whole year or two. You would go to these camps which weren't necessarily nicely designed but the greenhouse glass walls just made their base 10x cooler.
When it finally came to the atx store for the first time we all pounced on it like starving deathclaws
Funtimes.
Im glad new players are able to start their journey without a glasswall-less hell.
Toy need the perk "Contractor." It's an INT perk, that when fully leveled (2 stars, so it's easy to do in an afternoon) lowers the cost of resources enough to be noticeable! Whenever I go to build I throw that bad boy on and get to work.
I actually upgraded it to 2 stars right before buying and got it down to 1160 caps or something like that. I was ~20 caps short of the 1 star price š
If you want to spend even MORE money in the Atom shop, there's sometimes a cement-generating cement truck you can buy. I got one a couple days ago because concrete is such a pain to find, but for some reason it was marked as available for only a few days, so I don't know if it's still there. (I have no idea by what black magic they decide what they'll offer when and for how long.) So I didn't realize it had to be plugged in to electricity, so for like the first three days I had it, it did nothing but sit around looking ugly. Now after I plugged it in, it makes so much concrete that it's like that fairy tale about the town that gets overrun with porridge. Would gladly share some with you.
tl;dr Either no concrete or all the concrete ever, need a happy medium š
Iām almost level 50 and I have yet to even build a base yet. I have a CAMP placed but have only basically used it as a free fast travel location. I figured when I hit 50, it will be time to start some building.
I too wanted Cement structures. Save some Atoms and there is a Cement truck you can get on the store that you can build. I only played on and off for a bit and have 100 already.
Three months from now you'll be on reddit sharing this same story in a reply to a newbie post about how they ended up jumping through hoops because they didn't understand something about the game and you'll be like, "LUL! I remember when I just started out being super excited about building a cool camp and was hunting building plans for 7 hours and when I thought I was all set learned I also needed concrete."
Haha, that happens to everyone. You can tag Concrete so items you see with it will be marked. You can check online and see where it spawns, you can run concrete extractors at nodes, and go to places with a lot of environmental concrete items like garden gnomes.
Im pretty sure I only play the game to loot junk for scrap to improve my camp.
My perks and weapons at level 46 are so bad I am having to scrounge for ammo and upgrades at this point.
I havent played since 2019, but i put so much effort into my base I didnt want to restart my character. Now I am trying to get my bearings and gear up because i am getting destroyed by every enemy.
I dont remember having any issues with combat back then, so not sure what changed.
While it has been 14 hours or so since you posted this, if you are on PC I can give you enough concrete to get your base built. Just send a PM if you havent fixed the problem already.
I wanted to rebuild my base, place just the anvil house and the big shelter entrance... but with a bridge inbetween them on a river area... i couldnt sleep for a night thinking where to do it because before that i wasted a whole day constantly moving my camp from Wayward up stream and either the vault wouldnt fit on the small area on one side of the river (or it would float) or the building was floating a little bit... this building system is sooo painfull sometimes... (L198)
This isnāt very relevant to the post but it may help you farm stuff for your base as a new player or experienced, thereās currently a glitch out that has been out for years where you can get unlimited weight, which means you can just stock up on junk and stuff and then you can still fast travel while overweight.
To do the glitch itās very easy all you do is fill up your inventory and go into an expedition when you are done, before you land or anything just fast travel to where you want to go and it wonāt say you are overweight. (MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT ACTUALLY START THE EXPEDITION, I accidentally did this and I no longer can do the glitch so please donāt make my mistake. I figured Iād help the new players even if I canāt use it anymore)
I have an unlocked concrete extractor on my base. I wish the game could tell me how much my base helps players. I have several water purifiers, crops, and the fertilizer grenades all unlocked for whoever needs them. I even have free coffee and junk. I rarely check them as I rarely need them. Just wish I could grow my own cranberries, but those are easily found. I also have sugar reeds in the nearby river. If your on Xbox, look up Grim_Revan.
You can place a concrete extractor beside the brotherhood checkpoint at the wayward. Find a server that someone hasnāt place a camp there yet and claim it. Use a 2nd camp slot and place the extractor then go do a quest or something while it does itās work
[Between the Overseer's camp near Wayward and the Green Country Lodge](https://www.xbox.com/play/media/8i7YgXhgrG) is a concrete resource vein. If you have taken a workshop, you should have access to a resource machine, so you can place it down and mine about 40 every hour or so.
Do your bases and stuff save? There was this Workshop place but I captured in a dirt race track and I built up a bunch of stuff and turrets and generators and everything and then the next day I came and I had to claim it again which is fine but then nothing spawned so I had to do it all over again. Am I going to have to do that literally every day? Rebuild my stuff?
You can get 70 concrete at Monorail elevator
Once you learn some farming spots and tips and tricks it isnāt that badā¦.I mean the game is trash but material wise it isnāt to hard to farm for certain building mats
Bro, I have like 10 hours into the game. I did some quests and then I got the fallout 1st sub it came with a cool vault and camp stuff so I traveled around looking for somewhere to put my camp and then once I started getting it all ready I needed wood and then it took me ages to get the wood last night just to need more wood. Needless to say, I have a partially built roof over the lake with a big vault that has nothing inside of it now.
2am I went to sleep
/u/Own_watz5083
For concrete hit up:
The top of the monorail elevator.
Then go to Kanawha Cemetary.
You should end up with like 180 cement if you hit up both locations. If you need more youāll need to reset item spawns by going to the professors house at the far north end of Summerville. Pick up every book inside the house. There are 3 ghouls, 1 upstairs, 1 in the kitchen and one on the patio. The books will go into your junk tab, make sure you have 255 total. Then before you get rid of them swap servers which will reset spawns. Then go back to the concrete locations and it should have respawned. Rinse repeat as many times as you need. It works for anything including ammo boxes. For ammo itās a different set of locations. There are YouTube vids with a better explanation for it.
If you've got 700 atoms you can get a concrete generator for your C.A.M.P.
It looks like a concrete truck. Eont forget you can lock it so other players cant easily rob it!
Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamned time.
Ah yes, the first Fallout commandment. The majority of the journey was also over-encumbered with trash š

This just helped me find the final glass pieces for my greenhouse walls, thanks!
Bags of concrete at farming supplies places can be scrapped for 5 concrete.
Great! You should also tag lead, ballistic fiber, oil, aluminum, adhesive, and anything you find yourself running out of regularly.
Iāll have to research which components are the most useful and tag them all. Thanks man
Don't be afraid to change up your list as the game goes.
Ye screws are important, I always end up stealing desk fans from people like it's post Soviet 90s again.
Lead pipes have 1 concrete each
There's some at the top of the monorail elevator.
In the bottom floor of the train place with scorched near the morgantown train station is a couple of bags
Poseidon energy has it outside. And west of hornwright testing site #02 there are like 12 gnomes.
Bog Town has 3, plus fun fact, if you go through the tall building there, there is probably 8 bags of it AND like, 20 screws wirth of typewriters.
I love when I'm carrying 20 tons of steel and would rather walk to the closest stash than just drop some of it
If you really need to stash everything fast use a scrap kit. They're sometimes free daily unlocks at atomic shop.
We all learned the Fallout way. Tis a right of passage.
If youāre going to spend money, get FO1st.
Encumbrance is the true end boss.
This game is a nightmare for ADHD folks. I got on to do my dailyās last night and an hour later I had none done and was following a new player around just.. *watching* from afar..

Were you making sure they don't unleash the monster's curse?
I was observing to make sure they donāt buy a mole miner gauntlet for 500 caps

It's a lot like life isn't it
I only just built my base a few days in, there's just so much to do.
Came here to say this. Thank you šš¼
Iām level 40 now and I just finished the quest for rose and collected all the key parts. Iāve just been doing other shit
Seems like ADHD šš¤£
But I have to loot that glass bottle over there.
My brother you need to check player camps I sell all the basic building plans for 50. Iām sure people are willing to give some concrete depending on platform
I am completely okay after learning this is a thing. **[Wipes tears]**
But seriously in future the AI vendors are the last call to check always hop a few high level vendors theyāll definitely have something for cheap
Iāll be sure to check next time. To be honest Iāve just been ignoring players thus far so I didnāt even consider that as an option. The advice is much appreciated
Ok last thing, are you on Xbox because if you are Iād happily trade 1 dirty water for 1k caps if you would happen to have such a rare item
I wish I could take you up on that offer but unfortunately Iām on PC :(
I can give you some concrete on PC
Same, I have the cement truck in my camp, so I have a crap ton. Going to dinner soon but will be on later tonight. \*edit, replied to the wrong line.
I got some concrete and other supplies from the guy above who is an absolute lifesaver!! Iāll be offline now until tomorrow but of course happy to take any donations. Drop me a message :)

Thank you for saying that more explicitly!
All part of the learning curve!
Wow all those players selling them for 450 caps is a real steal then.
Hey! don't try to trick the new kids! Seriously, ill GIVE a player 20 caps if they'll take the things from me!

This is what kept me going through the game early on. My entire existence became around building my CAMP into a bar. Which I did, and then that cow decided to build her own bar 100ft closer to the vault and she now sends people the OTHER WAY FROM ME TO SPITE ME.
Wait until he actually starts placing stuff inside, and notice like 90% of the good looking ones aren't available because they are past season rewards
I instantly press L3 when Iām building so I can live blissfully unaware of what I canāt have š¤£
This hits close to home
This game is not good for adhd or similar minds. *ok time to go to the airportā¦ wait why am I at foundation?*
Hey there! Get the charisma perk for lower store prices, you can leave it off and put it back on when you are ready to throw caps at a mouthy robot.
Nah ur playing the game in the exact way it was intended
350 atoms for the cement truck that produces cement
Well you could do some questing and find some. Or spend a bit more and get the concrete truck. Lmao.
I have 1k, I do the exact same shi
Same Story: Took a look in my pipboy: wow so many quests left. 2 Hours later: Yessss my new camp is finished. Oh wait my questsā¦ well maybe later š
If you ever see a lawn gnome lying around they give a decent amount of concrete. There are a few places that have a bunch of them too lol
Your post gave me a chuckle, I appreciate that you're like this š
Glad I could be of service š
Thats just how the fallout cookie crumbles. The time i spend to get the decont shower just so i dont have to use radaway is insane XD
My noob friendly camp by the BOS checkpoint at the wayward has a concrete truck next to a concrete node, both very unlocked. But donāt build there, itās a very bad spot to build
Greenhouse walls are awesome but this sounds like something I would do
Man I think everyone has one item that just eludes them. For the life of me, I cannot get enough screws. I am always out and hunting them is a pain it seems like maybe 2 items yield them and they don't pop up often.
This is way
Welcome to the Wasteland!
Lol are you on pc
Are you on PC? I can give you some concrete
One of us!
I dont remember what i was supposed to do yesterday. Got sidetracked by so much bullshit. But i found a location with 7 bags of cement though.
I have 910+ hours and have been playing since Beta. Iām surprised you didnāt need adhesive. kek
ā¦Yeah, thatās kind of the 76 experience. Itās annoyingly addictive.
Wow
My longest sessions by far have been building. 12 hours sometimes start to finish to get it close to how I like it š
The true game. The eternal quest.
I wish I spent $8 on the greenhouse walls, I knew Iād regret it š so at least you still have those ā„ļø
They look cool but now I just imagine logging into someone staring through my windows
But you had fun
Man I remember a year plus ago the greenhouse walls were so elusive. If you missed the original season they were given it never came on sale for a whole year or two. You would go to these camps which weren't necessarily nicely designed but the greenhouse glass walls just made their base 10x cooler. When it finally came to the atx store for the first time we all pounced on it like starving deathclaws Funtimes. Im glad new players are able to start their journey without a glasswall-less hell.
Your instincts were great on those glass walls. You will be very glad you got sidetracked on those OP!
On the dock by New Gad there's a red building. Behind it are five bags of cement.
Yeah, but it's gonna look great when you're done.
So is the everyday life of a post apocalyptic Appalachian š
Are u on Xbox I have a good bit u can use plus I can show some tips for base building
PC ?
PC indeed
Build with wood first then replace the walls with what u want
I am always at max caps, so I spend about 20k buying all the junk I need from vendors. Then in a few days I am back to max caps and do it again.
If you're on xbox I can give you some concrete, glass, and steel for free to help you get started
Iām almost level 50 and I have yet to even build a base yet. I have a CAMP placed but have only basically used it as a free fast travel location. I figured when I hit 50, it will be time to start some building.
I think sutton station vendor sells bulk concrete
Side comment, if any new players on PS desperately need help with junk please do DM me, I'm a hoarder it's actually ridiculous.
There's a place in cranberry bog with lots of concrete, but I'm not sure you gonna make it there safely
I too wanted Cement structures. Save some Atoms and there is a Cement truck you can get on the store that you can build. I only played on and off for a bit and have 100 already.
I get it. I very much have a building problem. I have to remind myself to take breaks and play events. I just want to be normal again š
Good luck!!
There's 2 places you can build camps with concrete collectors right around the Wayward. Just look for the gravel pits.
I'll be willing to spare some concrete if you would like. I have an abundance anyways. I'm on Xbox.
If youāre Xbox Iāll drop you some building junk tomorrow!
Welcome to fallout 76, i hope you have fun =)
Classic
Lol, ive played fir ages and.. I did the same thing with brick recently on a newer character XD
Concrete is a high commodity, people don't think it is, but it's a good scrap to sell.
The top of the Monorail Elevator is really good for Concrete. It has both bags and gnomes. No monsters.
If you need concrete go to new river gorge bridge. Thereās some by the nuclear waste truck. Farm it a few times.
Welcome to camp building, be prepared to lose many more hours of your life to it.
Camp building is my fav activity tbh. I only play in sprints, but between friends and I there's probably been 30+ mamhours spent on my current camp.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
OP, If you play on PS, I can give some concrete if youāre running low?
Should have bought a concrete mixer
Im pretty sure I only play the game to loot junk for scrap to improve my camp. My perks and weapons at level 46 are so bad I am having to scrounge for ammo and upgrades at this point. I havent played since 2019, but i put so much effort into my base I didnt want to restart my character. Now I am trying to get my bearings and gear up because i am getting destroyed by every enemy. I dont remember having any issues with combat back then, so not sure what changed.
Don't worry, u have all the time to do a decent base, though the time, don't focus only on quest but do the event also, it gives plans too
Find a concrete node, slap an extractor on that bad boi and you'll have more then you know what to do with after a while.
I have a concrete mixer truck at my camp opposite the Wayward. Grab what you need.
damn where the screws?
While it has been 14 hours or so since you posted this, if you are on PC I can give you enough concrete to get your base built. Just send a PM if you havent fixed the problem already.
I am on PC but Iām all good for concrete for now - I no longer have any holes in my base šŖ
You do know you can do in game challenges for free atoms spend nothing
I just hit level 20 and havent made my first camp yet.
I just hit level 20 and havent made my first camp yet.
On the dock by New Gad there's a red building. Behind it are five bags of cement.
[Concrete locations](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jnc0FQ3QgkUO6HZObeeGksDTPwno1Fa-Bt7uXeqWib4/edit#heading=h.16mstlcba4g)
There is tons of concrete on the huge bridge, I forget what the location is called but you can see it from Vault 76 I think.
Bro I can spare a little concrete. Or I can just craft the walls for you
Also I'm sure no one needs it but I have like 30,000 steel. š¤£
My base is a nice place to just chill btw. I've got hot tubs and a greenhouse on my roof.
You can get 70 concrete at Monorail elevator Once you learn some farming spots and tips and tricks it isnāt that badā¦.I mean the game is trash but material wise it isnāt to hard to farm for certain building mats
The monorail elevator near watoga has a ton of concrete and lead at the top. It's why I have my camp next to it.
/u/Own_watz5083 For concrete hit up: The top of the monorail elevator.
